Timothee Chalamet reminded me as I was in my youth, impulsive, young, so naive, full of dreams, a romantic and got my heart broken up many times, to heal back again. What Elio went through was heaven and hell all together. pain and sorrow can be overwhelming but joy of having such a deep and meaningful connection with someone so special will overcome anything . Unfortunately Oliver's have to deny themselves a life they are meant to live. hope sequel will be made down the road, with a same cast
When Timothee was asked about the potential sequel about two years ago he said that he had read the second book and the whole cast was pretty enthusiastic about makiang the second film but it would be more like a plan for the next decade because both actors were still too young And with the whole mess around Armie Hammer it's not really likely they'll be filming anything with him any time soon

Um dos filmes mais lindos que já vi. É perfeito, delicado, suave, profundo, envolvente e devastador. Impossível uma pessoa que já amou outra não sentir, mesmo que por um pouco, o que Elio sentia. A sensação de ter crescendo dentro de si um sentimento que você não esperava, a fogueira que queima no peito enquanto você vê a pessoa e não tem certeza se ela sente algo, o ciúme sufocando, a delícia do desenvolvimento e o sentimento começando a ser correspondido... É maravilhoso! Então, o adeus. E a sensação de que ficou um buraco na sua vida e que nada mais vai ser como antes.. O diálogo entre Elio e o pai, logo após a partida de Oliver é uma das coisas mais sublimes, é lição pra vida.

Ce film me rappelle mon été 2018, amoureuse d’un homme plus âgé et déjà rangé. J’aurais aimé que cet été dur éternellement et ce film reflète totalement mon état d’esprit de l’époque, et que dire de cette musique de Lana Del Rey… le premier chagrin d’amour, celui qu’on oublie jamais.
Enfin je trouve une personne française ! Votre histoire a l’air tellement touchante, je suis désolé pour vous ! Et effectivement ce films m’a appris beaucoup de chose et il est incroyable, un amour impossible qui pouvais peut-être a voir une fin heureuse. Mais malheureusement c’est la réalité de leur époque, et au final je suis plutôt contente qu’ils est fait cette fin, même si sa m’a fait pleurer toute mes larmes :)
