This song and scenes from this movie evokes a lot of emotions in me because in high school in the 90s (in Europe) I fell in love with a girl very similar to her(0:05) same hairstyle and same silhouette as she walks down the hall. I dreamed about her day and night, at school I looked discreetly at her all the time as in this movie. I felt like this boy and one day I knocked on her door even though I never talked to her before, she invited me in! When I think about it today I think it is so crazy ... Later, in a few months I spent many nice moments with her. The story did not end happily. She didn't fall in love with me, we're just friends... but the memories remain. It's hard to express it, but it was because she accepted me and I could meet her and spend time with her was something special for me. Today I am pleased with myself that I dared to do it. I have a similar situation to this. She was very pretty, and everyone was into her. The feeling of looking at somebody and knowing that you would do anything for her is a really wonderful feeling. We spent countless hours together, and the last day of high school was our last day together. Her family moved to another country, and we lost contact after some time. I did meet her again in the later years at a friend's wedding. She still looked the same but with a mature complexity about her. I was staring at her all the time, and she was also looking at me. But we both were with different people now. We spoke for a while, and I told her, "I cherish our moments together forever and hope you are always happy." She cried and told me that she never stopped loving me. It hurt so much because we were both with someone whom we also really loved. Till now, we have never spoken to each other again because it hurt too much to not be able to hold her in my embrace. 😭😢

This story is similar to so many. I fell in love with a girl. We would see each other at work randomly, usually always meeting in the elevator at the exact time - either coming to work or lunch or etc. I didn't fall for her at first sight, it was slow and gradual. I didn't even realize it when it happened. We would always wave at each other and smile. I made her laugh a lot, enough to make her almost fall down and have her belly hurt. We had a lot of things common. We would order the same food sometimes without even knowing it. We would like the same music. Sometimes we would be thinking the same thing and she would tell me that she was also thinking that. We would fight and tease each other on various things. There were times we would just stare at each other's eyes across the room. We still talked after that and still laughed, but I never told her how I felt since I knew she was already taken. Eventually, I got a job offer at a new city 2000 miles away. The last time I saw her we hugged and then she told me to keep in touch. Since then, we don't really keep in touch. I did try put she didn't put in the same effort - late and short replies. So that's it. Some stories just don't have happy endings. I'll always remember her and the good memories though. I wish that she will always keep the same smile no matter who she is with.

This song and scenes from this movie evokes a lot of emotions in me because in high school in the 90s (in Europe) I fell in love with a girl very similar to her(0:05) same hairstyle and same silhouette as she walks down the hall. I dreamed about her day and night, at school I looked discreetly at her all the time as in this movie. I felt like this boy and one day I knocked on her door even though I never talked to her before, she invited me in! When I think about it today I think it is so crazy ... Later, in a few months I spent many nice moments with her. The story did not end happily. She didn't fall in love with me, we're just friends... but the memories remain. It's hard to express it, but it was because she accepted me and I could meet her and spend time with her was something special for me. Today I am pleased with myself that I dared to do it. When I saw this video for the first time between 0:42 and 0:47 I felt something in my heart and I still do because for a second I thought it was a scene from my youth. She even carried her bag like this on her shoulder. I have a similar situation to this. She was very pretty, and everyone was into her. The feeling of looking at somebody and knowing that you would do anything for her is a really wonderful feeling. We spent countless hours together, and the last day of high school was our last day together. Her family moved to another country, and we lost contact after some time. I did meet her again in the later years at a friend's wedding. She still looked the same but with a mature complexity about her. I was staring at her all the time, and she was also looking at me. But we both were with different people now. We spoke for a while, and I told her, "I cherish our moments together forever and hope you are always happy." She cried and told me that she never stopped loving me. It hurt so much because we were both with someone whom we also really loved. Till now, we have never spoken to each other again because it hurt too much to not be able to hold her in my embrace. 😭😢

This story is similar to so many. I fell in love with a girl. We would see each other at work randomly, usually always meeting in the elevator at the exact time - either coming to work or lunch or etc. I didn't fall for her at first sight, it was slow and gradual. I didn't even realize it when it happened. We would always wave at each other and smile. I made her laugh a lot, enough to make her almost fall down and have her belly hurt. We had a lot of things common. We would order the same food sometimes without even knowing it. We would like the same music. Sometimes we would be thinking the same thing and she would tell me that she was also thinking that. We would fight and tease each other on various things. There were times we would just stare at each other's eyes across the room. We still talked after that and still laughed, but I never told her how I felt since I knew she was already taken. Eventually, I got a job offer at a new city 2000 miles away. The last time I saw her we hugged and then she told me to keep in touch. Since then, we don't really keep in touch. I did try put she didn't put in the same effort - late and short replies. So that's it. Some stories just don't have happy endings. I'll always remember her and the good memories though. I wish that she will always keep the same smile no matter who she is with.
I think Brooke's extraordinary beauty also worked against her. She was great in this movie and also in Blue Lagoon. Yet the critics were so unkind to her as a teenager starting out in films. This was during the time when every magazine wanted her on the cover, and she was in TV commercials all the time. The critics probably were probably thinking, she's already so blessed, we must bring her down.
