Ooookay. Hold up a minute... I have to come here and defend Warioware Smooth Moves. It's the most fun game on the Wii by far!! Me and my friends used to laugh so hard playing this.. still makes me smile just thinking about. True gem.
I loved replaying it mainly because it's a game that isn't really about pure motion, it's a game that challenges you how to interact with the sensor bar
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is my fav in the series, Sonic in brawl... launching my career, and I had the MOST hours on. Single player achievements also surpass other games for me personally. I LOVE this game. with all my heart. my fav wii game :)
8:31 Mario Kart Wii actually has somewhat of a cult following, similar to Smash Bros. Melee Some people argue that it's still got the best gameplay of any Mario Kart
I think the severe rubberbanding and 3 star cup requirements were too much of a negative to call it the best gameplay in the series, but still a damn good Mario Kart game. Definitely better than SMK, MK64, or MKSC.
I never play Mario Kart Wii since it is hard, but I like the Maple Tree Way track the best. I also like its music. That music can be heard in the origami King, so it’s peaceful and like a lullaby version.
The Wii and Wii U is a significant chapter in my childhood along with 3DS. Such amazing devices, it's such a shame that they're history. Will always be in my heart😔❤
I love the gameplay of Metroid Other M. The storytelling was cheesy in a way that did not work well with the idea of Metroid. But the gameplay was so fun, especially the combat, which is no surprise because Team Ninja is fantastic at making combat that feels great.
Man after looking back I regret selling all my Wii and Wii U games and consoles. Had a physical copy of The Last Story and the special edition Xenoblade Chronicle X and it pains me to know they’re gone forever. lol
A few years ago in the UK when Queen Elizabeth was still alive she had a 24 karat gold Wii console and a 24 karat gold Wii remote now that is absolutely brilliant and fantastic to have in her collection.
Thank you for pointing out Kororinpa! I don't know how I originally found it, considering it came out when I was 10 and didn't know what was good. But I played the game a ton and really loved it. Super underrated and people don't mention it anymore!
Mario kart Wii is not only the best Mario kart but it is the most active online Wii game to date by a long shot still pulling hundreds of players online daily. Massive competitive scene and it's always been strong for both gamers and casuals
oh wow Cursed Mountain!!! I haven't played it but its on my ebay wishlist! If i remember correctly, people find it to be a bit of a cult hit if you can get past some janky controls!
Idk Mario Kart Wii still gets a lot of love still, especially since the custom tracks are so good and people still come out with them, it's crazy. My favorite wii game I think is still Mario Galaxy, my first 3D Mario, and I can honestly say I don't think think I've played another game that's captured the same mystique of it still.
Awesome collection! The Wii was such a fun console. I remember having a blast with Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, the light-gun style games worked very well on Wii.
Woah, woah, woah. WarioWare Smooth Moves is the ELITE WarioWare game. The multiplayer is so fun and the microgames actually worked really well with motion controls. I will not take any Smooth Moves slander!
The Wii was so comfy. It came out during the time where the internet was still trying to figure itself out, and really felt like something from the future was here in my room. Forums were still alive and thriving, so it was fun to go on something like GameFAQs and talk everything Wii. Smash Bros Brawl was probably my favorite Wii game, not just because it was a good game in its own right, but because it was so much fun to talk about. The speculation of what characters were going to be included was real, especially when Sakurai was doing the daily Smash Dojo updates. Nothing has quite hit the same as that did back in the day for me.
Oh no..... i have a severe compulsion to play on my wii now. Wii wasn't my first nintendo console but there was something so charming about it that made me love it the most. Even today I still look back at Wii as my favorite nintendo consoles
I absolutely LOVED Pokepark 2 it was my childhood game! I remember every day after elementary I would run home, turn on the Wii, and play it for hours. My mom would get upset with me because I wouldn’t do my homework- but I’d say it was worth it lol
I remember getting my first Wii console in a trade with a friend on Xbox Live. He wanted two Xbox 360 games Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball and some other game. He send me his Wii in the Box with Twilight Princess. This was when it was impossibly hard to get and I was so so happy to play Zelda on the Wii! Later got Mario Galaxy and Metal Slugs Anthology and those were my first few games on the Wii. Now I have about 200 games and every color Wii including the Wii Mini. Great console!
VERY surprised to see you guys didn't have very established Sonic games on Wii that made huge news for good and bad :o - Sonic & the Secret Rings - Sonic Colors - Sonic Riders Zero Gravity - Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games ETC
It's always fun seeing these plus it helps remind me of things i need to still get. Personally, my favorite Wii games were Skyward Sword, Wii Sports (the novelty was gone for me by the time the sequel came), RE4 and Smash Bros Brawl.
The Wii+Virtual Console, DSLite & first year of the Nintendo Launch 3DS(Aqua Blue) were magical times indeed! Killer Combo! And this is coming from somebody who grew up gaming in the late 80's with the NES. ;) Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on Wii was revolutionary to the first person genre. Those Wii pointer controls were incredible. One of my favourite games of all time. Then you've got Wario Land Shake it!, Super Paper Mario, Mega Man 9, Klonoa and so much more. Surprisingly, i had a much better time with the Wii+Virtual Console than i ever did with the Gamecube, the N64 and definitely the Wii U. The SNES & NES, imo, take the crown as being the best Nintendo consoles ever, with the Wii+VC and Switch coming in 3rd & 4th place.
35:32 Say what?! That game is awesome( Twilight Princess). Gasp! No more heroes 2? Mad world was fun and was different. Super paper mario? Wow! Hahaha!!
Yeah, echoing what others have said, Wario Ware Smooth Moves was an absolute blast at get togethers. Super great party game. But one of my favorite Wii games was Zack and Wiki! IGN was pumping that game a bunch but it's such a great puzzle game that used the Wii motion controls. So nice I bought it twice!
I remember really enjoying the games I had on the Wii. I didn’t branch out too much from first party but the ones I had were very fun imo. Let’s see y’all’s Gameboy collection now, since Kit has been playing on his Analogue Pocket! That was a great purchase for me and have been enjoying mine thoroughly
The Wii was my gateway into gaming. Wii Sports is an all time classic along with Wii Sports Resort. Skyward Sword is my favorite game ever. Some honorable mentions: Mario Party 8 and Mario Kart Wii. Mario Party 8 was the last Mario Party developed by Hudson, and when we rented MP9 (yes, renting was still a thing back in 2012), I was very disappointed. I don't think I saw Mario Kart Wii in the video, but while it's not as good as 8 Deluxe on Switch, it's still a good entry in the series, even though it's extremely unbalanced. The inside drift in this game alongside the wheelies made vehicles like the Flame Runner and Mach Bike the meta. Couple that with stat bonuses for each character, Funky Kong and Daisy are the meta with their speed bonuses. I never got MKWii when it came out, but my sister found this for me at a garage sale for $1! Even back a few years ago when we got it, it was still worth $30-$40. I still play it from time to time, but it's still one of the best finds we've found at a garage sale.
Love the collection. The Wii was my very first console I own and I still have it today for display purposes. Nintendo at its prime back then! Rabbids, I so remember that. My Top 4 Wii games are Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Super Sluggers, and Super Smash Bros Brawl. Honorable mention: New Super Mario Bros Wii
The Wii has the best and worst game library of any console ever in my opinion. I've been slowly collecting all the good games for it. Just picked up Wii party and Wii sports resort last week!
13:51 The game is fun. The cutscenes are pretty. I don’t like Adam telling you what to do. You have all weapons and then he prevents you from using them. Other than that, it’s a good game.
8:30 I think it’s because it was the first Mario Kart to significantly changed how the Mini-Turbo worked EDIT: Surprise no mention of Mario Strikers Charged. Also another deep cut is The Conduit by Sega
The Wii sonic branding was wiped from my mind until this video due to the efficacy of the Switch Sonic branding. I missed those squiggly sounding “ii”’s
That's a pretty decent and humble Wii collection you got there and let me you this, during the half of this year I've been starting to collect some Wii game of course the good one the gems and not the usual shovelware mess (which sadly now days a lot people saw the Wii as a over hype shovelware minefield which it's true there's no denied that) but what really makes me sad is that many people didn't give the credit that it deserves it has some of the greatest games such as Twilight Princess, Wii Sports, Súper Mario Galaxy, Punch Out, Mario kart Wii, Metroid Prime 3, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby 's Return Dream Land, etc plus it has some hidden such gems such as Warioland Shake it, Zack & Wiki,Mad Word, the remake of A boy and His blob,Sin & Punishment:Star Successor,Muramasa:The Demon Blade and of course Tatsunoko vs Capcom Ultimate All Start. There some great games ant I can go on but you get the idea, sure it has its cons and but you can't deny that the wii also has his strengths too.
It’s a good thing that some games on the Wii are Wii Wares and there are some bad ones (good thing there aren’t any physical copies). One is Action Girlz Racing which had unresponsive controls and irritating sounds. There’s even one course that has a boost pad that leads to a dead end. Another was Major Minor’s Majestic March in which the entire gameplay is just moving the controller vertically for a long amount of time which could wear out your arm. The most ridiculous Wii game that exists is Fireplacing which is just a fireplace simulator in which you just load logs, start the fire, enlarge it with bellows, and watch it burn like you’d do with a real fireplace. Nothing fun and interesting about it.
Gotta go for a GBA collection next if you have it. Funnily enough I sort of randomly picked up a few Virtual Console games for the Wii back in the day. The NES version of A Boy and His Blob was one of them. Didn't play that for more than maybe 10 minutes, but maybe I should get ahold of the Wii remake and see if I like it better. Honestly my collections for the consoles and handhelds I had was VERY small as a kid so I love seeing collection videos like this and hidden gems videos and such for ideas on what to put on my radar to get and play when I can. I had something like 7 N64 games (though I did rent a few more back in ye olde Blockbusters days for sure), around 6 DS games. Maybe as low as 4 3DS games? Probably the system I had the most games for in my collection was GBA. I'm sure I actually hit double digits for that one, clearing 20 pretty easily. GBC was probably the next closest after that.
wii are back 😍The Wii was the first console i could efford myself and i got it day 1 i even preordered it at the toy store. but i only have 21 games ^^. We always prefered having 4 controllers over more games 😂😂 links crossbow training was amazing, we also had Biathlon 2009
OMG, TWO COPIES OF FIRE EMBLEM RADIANT DAWN!!! Those things are like gold, very difficult to find both launch and even more nowadays. It's neesh but for the FE Fandom those are invaluable as are becoming lost for no portability, or even few trusted Roms for emulation.
Now the Wii I have lots of memories with this console it my first Nintendo console since my first console was a ps2. I remember playing Wii sports and Wii sports resort and Mario kart Wii. It was so cool I remember trying it for the first time bowing boxing and every sport was so fun to play. And Mario kart Wii was so fun with Wii wheel feel like you were driving a car love that game played it so much with my sister. My other favorite game I loved from the Wii was super Mario Wii. My Wii is the orginal wii with GameCube support in white I will always remember the Wii has my first Nintendo home console. Now I own a Nintendo switch the original model I love the console. I have so much fun with it.
Hey Kit!!!! You really should give the Sengoku Basara games a try. They are very similar to Samurai Warriors but they have a sort of "Capcom flair" to them.
Oh also, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes introduced Magoichi Saika to the series and Capcom's interpretation is a badass lady with shotguns and grenade launchers. I don't know if that appeals to you at all but that's just a small sample of how wild the series can be.
I’m also a fan of the warriors series, didn’t believe you were such a Dynasty Warriors fan. I like Samurai Warriors better. I need Koei to make a remake of the first tittle and back to what made the series what it is Today. And a remake of Warriors Orochi Z
Omg i had Ghost squad but i hated it haha i never got through it since i was 8 and my dad had gotten it one day for us probably just because it looked cool. Ive been meaning to find it to give it another go but i didnt know the name.
endless ocean blue world is the first game i ever played for over 100 hours so to have the switch entry to have a potentially interesting story thats not shown well and an awful ai voiced by a computer thats off-putting and semi-bland levels that are mostly empty is just. . . i've never thought i wasted money on a game before luminous. i want blue world back.
Ooookay. Hold up a minute... I have to come here and defend Warioware Smooth Moves. It's the most fun game on the Wii by far!!
Me and my friends used to laugh so hard playing this.. still makes me smile just thinking about. True gem.
Not only that, I would say it is arguably the BEST WarioWare Game!
Wii was definitely not just a fad. Sure, it was novel, but there were lots of real bangers on that console, and it was legitimately fun to play.
Idk about that. I genuinely love wario ware smooth moves. Especially one of my favorites in the Wii library.
Yeah Smooth Moves is genuinely one of the best WarioWares. It is the best of the games to play in a party atmosphere
I loved replaying it mainly because it's a game that isn't really about pure motion, it's a game that challenges you how to interact with the sensor bar
Yeah it's up there with Move It and the GameCube one. Fantastic local multiplayer
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is my fav in the series, Sonic in brawl... launching my career, and I had the MOST hours on. Single player achievements also surpass other games for me personally. I LOVE this game. with all my heart. my fav wii game :)
27:26 You can pinpoint the moment Kit question his life decision there with Krysta XD
8:31 Mario Kart Wii actually has somewhat of a cult following, similar to Smash Bros. Melee

Thank you for pointing out Kororinpa! I don't know how I originally found it, considering it came out when I was 10 and didn't know what was good. But I played the game a ton and really loved it. Super underrated and people don't mention it anymore!
I got Skyward Sword for Christmas as a kid because I saw Kit stabbing pumpkins and I instantly thought it was the coolest thing ever

You're being too modest, this a a massive library, not a wii one.
Love these two
Oh no..... i have a severe compulsion to play on my wii now.

That Metroid Prime Trilogy needs to come to the Switch 😊😊😊
Been watching since Nintendo Minute, over a decade ago. I love you guys and these game collection vids you're currently doing!

Kit doesn’t like sonic.
@@anonymoushuman8443 oh :(
LoZ Twilight Princess and Muramasa are my top favorite games on the Wii.
It's always fun seeing these plus it helps remind me of things i need to still get.
Personally, my favorite Wii games were Skyward Sword, Wii Sports (the novelty was gone for me by the time the sequel came), RE4 and Smash Bros Brawl.
One of my favorite Wii games that I really wish they could bring back is the last story really love that one
Sin and Punishment is a gem that I recommend
I tuned 19 last april but my gaming adventure began with mario kart wii when i was like 5-9 years old
My favorite wii game isn't even a wii disc, it's a WiiWare entry that has never ever had a re-release anywhere else. The name is "Chick Chick Boom"
I finally got my hands on Xenoblade chronicles definitive edition😀
We've reached a point where Wii feels nostalgic now. I have many fond memories of the early Wii and DS era. Truly special times.
I was nostalgic for the early days of the Wii during the final year of it's lifetime haha
The Wii+Virtual Console, DSLite & first year of the Nintendo Launch 3DS(Aqua Blue) were magical times indeed! Killer Combo! And this is coming from somebody who grew up gaming in the late 80's with the NES. ;)

Wii is retro now. The SNES was only 15 years old when Wii was released and SNES was considered retro by then. Wii is now 18 years old now in 2024.
@@anonymoushuman8443
Anything beyond Dreamcast(99') still doesn't feel retro to me. :P Maybe in another 10 years.

Love this! So many great games ❤ idk what my favorite Wii game would be. It’s hard to choose 1 specific game.
Please keep these videos going!
Mariokart Wii, Smash Brawl, Zelda Twilight Princess, and Mario Galaxy were some of my favorite games! Sad I never played Mario Galaxy 2.
WOOOO THE EXCITEBOTS MENTION
now i know for sure you guys are real ones
and ELEBITS man i miss the wii now
Looking forward to seeing your Switch game collection soon
35:32 Say what?! That game is awesome( Twilight Princess). Gasp! No more heroes 2? Mad world was fun and was different. Super paper mario? Wow! Hahaha!!
I love seeing the collections you two have
I would like to see collection videos for GBA, Wii U and Switch.
27:26 Gotta agree with Krysta on that one. Sorry Kit. LMAO
I have 4 of the Metroid steel book games. They were only $9 each back in the day.
I still have to get around to 100% complete of Fortune Street. We need more of them!
0:08 Oh MAN, what a throwback. I totally forgot about that.

The Wii was my gateway into gaming. Wii Sports is an all time classic along with Wii Sports Resort. Skyward Sword is my favorite game ever. Some honorable mentions: Mario Party 8 and Mario Kart Wii. Yo, you have Klonoa!
I got into the series a while ago thanks to the remakes on switch, definitely a great time!
Awesome video i can't wait to see the next video in the series! keep up the great work see you in the next video!
I have never seen the cardboard cases before, we had plastic ones here in Australia even with pack in games. This was cool to see.
i can’t wait for their reaction in the morning to the switch successor announcement
There’s a couple classics here that I missed as a kid and would be fun to check out

I’m also a fan of the warriors series, didn’t believe you were such a Dynasty Warriors fan. I like Samurai Warriors better. I need Koei to make a remake of the first tittle and back to what made the series what it is Today. And a remake of Warriors Orochi Z
Surprised you guys don't have Okami in there. Madworld needs to make a comeback. Need new Warioland game as well.

You guys need some Gunblade NY/LA Machine Guns and Target Terror. GEMS. :D

I miss my Skyward Sword symphony cd pack in... I played it so much, it broke
endless ocean blue world is the first game i ever played for over 100 hours so to have the switch entry to have a potentially interesting story thats not shown well and an awful ai voiced by a computer thats off-putting and semi-bland levels that are mostly empty is just. . . i've never thought i wasted money on a game before luminous. i want blue world back.
