    I'm 70...a note to all of my baby girl's...doing you face is good, and she's right.. but don't forget your neck, hands, arms😲 a younger looking face is nice, But don't forget the rest of your body Mmmmmmmm! p.s. if I may say so myself I look good!☺ Just a note/reminder ... beauty is good, but brains are better .

    Im just in the middle of trying this mask...and after Id applied it I realised that the little bit left over can be used to brush my teeth, as this is also a natural homemade toohpaste recipe.
    So dual purpose :)

      57unicorn, I also add a few drops of tea tree oil, & use it as deodorant. I find that I sweat less! You can substitute any essential oil for a different smell. I like tea tree oil for it's antibacterial properties. You can cut back on the baking soda if it's too strong for you.
      If you use it for tooth paste, (just the coconut oil), remember NOT to spit it down the drain. It will cool and harden, and clog your drain!

    These ingredients do work well and just to share my experience with them.....I am now 60 and when in my mid 20's began using baking soda as a scrub with just a little water for a paste after cleansing with Cetaphil. I started this because my beautiful clear skin erupted with a nasty breakout of pimples or acne ?? after being sold an expensive cleansing regimen in a mall. I was so depressed and from that day forward I never used commercial cleansing products (except Cetaphil for awhile) My face cleared up pretty fast and the gentle scrub made my face feel so smooth. Eventually my large pores got smaller (or appeared so). Occasionally I used witch hazel as an astringent but it wasn't necessary. I still use the scrub 1-2 times a week in the shower. I never use anything but Shea Moisture organic soaps for face and body. Walgreens carries it. I have used organic coconut oil daily as a moisturizer and makeup remover for the last 20 or so years. I get so many compliments on my skin from people I know and strangers who are always surprised at my age. I have very few lines and wrinkles. The coconut oil works on feet and hands too. I never thought about mixing the two products. No need to buy expensive products to maintain beautiful skin. My skin was combination until my 40's and now is just normal. Thank you so much for letting others know how great these two natural ingredients are for our skin. I hope you give it a try. I will try the mixture of the two. Blessings all!

      They're showing Arm & Hammer. That's NOT real baking soda. They chemically induce it with ore. Bob's Red Mill however mines theirs from the earth. So much better for us humans. A&H is good for washing the floors but not us. Also, the best Coconut Oil I have found is Dr Bronners. All others are processed with metals and that causes all the good properties to leave the oil. This mix is also good for toothpaste as it heals the teeth and gums.

    I think you are the only one in youtube whose tips I have liked and tried. And yes I can swear by coconut oil. My grandfather, used it on his face whole his life, accompanied by black tea on an empty stomach and never had a single wrinkle on his face even though he was 80 years old. I massage my face every night with coconut oil, and I drink green tea the first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

    Love this stuff! Made a nice batch and use it all over my body while in the shower. My husband loves it too. I have extremely dry skin all over and have suffered from eczema all my life. When I was little my skin was so dry it looked like alligator skin. My aunt actually started me using Vaseline to help, but it was so sticky. Now I use this recipe and this keeps the dry skin looking wonderful, soft and smooth. The last little patch of eczema on my elbow is slowly going away, with the help of aloe gel 2 times a day. Thanks for sharing.

      I understand you wanting me to use someone else but the purpose of my channel is to show, that if you take care of your skin, you too can have nice beautiful skin like mine. Growing up my skin was looking like an oatmeal and raisin cookie. Over the years, I spent a lot of time and money (lol) taking care of my skin. Now when people say that I have beautiful skin.... ..... I am also not as young as you may be thinking. LoL.
      Sherly whenever possible, I will use someone else.... Thank you for watching. Please use a few of my recipes for a week or two...I guarantee you that you will be looking years younger. Please get back to me on that. Have a wonderful evening, Hugs Khichi

    Just tried this method today. I had to put a little more coconut oil in with the basin soda to thin it out more. The baking soda was really gritty on my face so the extra oil helped a lot. My face is really dry and at times you can see the dead skin, especially around the top of the nose and eye area. I have used different types of moisture and cleaning brushes as well as face mask. It took me a long time using these different products and they still didn't do the job. Using this method worked so well that when I rinsed it off I couldn't see or feel any dry skin on my face and next and even on my chest area. I glad I ran across this video because it really worked for me and I know it will work for you.

    If you have noticeable pores, rinse it off with cold water- not warm water.

    • @sukipookers2
      @sukipookers2 7 лет назад +4

      @ Shawnie Jenkins ...rinse with warm, splash after with cool water or ac vinegar.

    • @Shawniefication
      @Shawniefication 7 лет назад +11

      That's fine. As long as you ultimately use cold water.

    • @Greywind920
      @Greywind920 6 лет назад +2

      You have. To rinse with warm water then end with a splash of cool or shit will get stuck in your pores....

    Great video!! I advise anyone looking for baking soda DO NOT USE ARM AND HAMMER. It has metals in it and those metals will go in you! Purchase ORGANIC Sodium Bi-Carbonite (baking soda) which is free of aluminum.

    Belated October 30, 2017. Some remedies are worthy to be put to the test However, one should try the following: 1. Take a photo and date when you began the suggested application.
    2. After two to 4 weeks take another photo (dated) and see if there is Any progress in your appearance.
    3.Take time, donut give up because facial changes do require time (& photos).
    4. I am 80 yrs young at heart (attitude is important) but I am using Natural Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in a hot/warm if you prefer face cloth. Mister senior Bruce Baja Ca Mx.
