44 out of 50 not bad for an Aussie. Didn't recognize Cher in her youth or Carson as he was not on TV here. Thank goodness for reruns of classic movies and art studies.
35/50 That was fun, although my brain got tired of sorting out the faces after awhile lol. But I'm really surprised at some of them that I got correct since they were such young photos of them! Enjoyed it!
So frustrating when you know the face, but can't dredge up the name! But there were folks there I'd never heard of...probably American tv stars who did n't come to Europe. I lost count of the ones I didn't get. Sigh!
I missed 10, but some were so young it threw me off, like Jack Nicholson, Cher, Jane Fonda & Priscilla Presley. Have to admit Neil Armstrong was a guess, but i surprised myself knowing Andy Warhol immediately, then was disappointed missing Picasso. This was good fun. I subbed & am keen to do more so thanks muchly. 👍
That was great fun. I didn't recognize Zza Gabor and Truman Capote that young. I got 45/50. I knew the faces but couldn't remember the names Thank you so much.😄
Did pretty good I'd like to do these because I'm 54 years old and I'm forgetting famous names a lot more lately and it drives me nuts. So this is a good way to settle me down to convince myself that I'm not going through cognitive decline lol
23 out of 50. I remembered and recognised all of the faces. But I was still less than ten years old in the 60's and all of the photo's were of the celebrities when they were younger than when I got to know them more in the 1970's and 1980's.
Born in 1959 got thirty names right and about 10 more I recognized but couldn’t remember their names like Ursala Andres and, forgive me, Richard Burton.
Me too. But it was a before surgery pic sooo, understandable. Missed Jack Nicholson too cause he was so young. Didn't even look like he did in Easy Rider.
missed 8-thanks for a fun quiz-apparently not a great score but if the pics.had been more personality specific eg Ursula in Dr.No then I might not have done any better but I would not have cared🤓🤪💗
Can name these 1970s celebrities Farrah Fawcett Jack Nicholson Gerald Ford Jimmy Carter Michael Landon Margaret thatcher Linda ronstadt Barry Manilow Elton John Robert Redford Alan Alda Walter Mondale Roger Moore ( James Bond ) James Garner Peter falk Donna summer Goldie hawn
29 correct. but only 6 of the 21 I missed were ones I flat out didn't recognise. The others I knew the faces, but couldn't come up with the name under 10 seconds.
I misses 17, embarrassing. I cannot get my brain to process the faces from all those artists from my past. Could be early dementia, caused from all my early self destruction. I love the music.
I knew all of them except Simone. But I won't admit how many I could actually name from a glance at the photo. My recall seems to extend to breakfast... um... I mean lunch (fortunately I'm having lunch now).
I am 68. I got 38 correct. I knew who everyone was after seeing the names except for Nina Simone. On two of them Warhol and Capote I only remember them from older photos. And as for Picasso, I don't recall seeing a photo of him. The others I missed I just drew a blank on their names.
Great quiz! I just subscribed to your channel! I got 18 wrong. The only person in the quiz that I didn't recognize the name of was Diana Riggs. I'll have to look her up!
That was my first response too. Mrs. Peel. But I got the name in time. She also played the part of James Bond's only wife. "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"
@@lesliewells1062 Just the one. The guy that played Bond in that movie only played the part in that movie. I can't remember his name at the moment. George something I think. They got married atcthe end of the movie. I think Telly Savalos plays the villian. At the beginning of one of Roger Moore's movies Bond is visiting her grave. I can't remember the name of that movie either. Sorry.
@@susanyoung5447 To be honest--I have never watched a Bond movie all the way through. I find them incredibly boring and I fall asleep--on the rare occasions I have tried to watch one because someone else wanted to. I don't find the action and the sex that he engages in interesting. From the little I've seen, there is almost no character development. I don't like spy movies or action movies. A lot to people think the movies I like are boring--and I'm sure none of them ever grossed as much as a Bond movie!! LOL!!
I was born in 1963 and only missed three answers. One was Truman Capote because I was too young to read his books, and the other was Candace Bergen but only because my first thought was Mariel Hemingway (whoops my bad) and the third was Nina Simone (I was thinking more like civil rights activist, not singer). I'll bet a lot of people couldn't name Indira Gandhi, but I remember her time as Indian PM before being assassinated by her own guards. Anyway thanks for a well presented tasteful quiz. I'll be back for more. =)
@@eddiechase9691 Nina Simone is a great jazz singer and pianists. Trained at Julliard for classical piano, she transitioned to jazz. A song you might know of hers, from the recent Tomas Crown Affair..."Sinner Man."
46. Should have had Ursula Andress. Couldn't come up with her name. Have never seen Nina Simone before just now. Barely know who she was or is(I think she's dead??). Didn't have a clue that was Sandra Dee. Just a name to me. Barely know who she is as well. Messed up Gandhi. Said Golda Meir. Ouch!! Fun quiz.
Man I am a Boomer! And a Hippy Chick on top of it. I am 71 and I got every single one.
Far out man ✌️🏼
I missed 5, knew the face but couldn't remember the name. I was pretty proud of my memory at 84yrs young.
And you saved the Very Best for Last. Thank you! And Thumbs UP!!
Lovely quiz and brought back nice memories, thank you.
48/50 Great quiz & fun too. Thanks for the memories. 💕
It was Jackie Kennedy in the 60s. She was quite a bit older when she married Onassis.
Great quiz
Priscilla Presley had HAIR!!!!!! Whoah!!!
The 60’s were my growing up years!!😊
Thanks for there memories!
Amazingly, I missed 5! Ghandi, Bergman, Armstrong, Simone and Capote! Some of their pics were really young. This was fun.
Bergman? Surely you mean Bergen.
Great quiz, I missed five, not too shabby!
_4 not bad for a 68 old Dutch woman
Love your quizzes
40/60 good job on these celebrities! Great selections. ❤

Missed 2 and had a lot of fun with this quiz. Thanks!!!

Only 24/50 ! Some I didn't know, others had changed so much along the years.
Many of the pictures were young shots which made it more challenging.
I missed 8, but to be fair I got Sandra Dee and Tuesday Weld mixed up in the 60's.
I missed 5. Pretty good considering I was a kid and pre-teen during the 1960s.
What a great quiz, thank you.
48/50, two I didn't know at all and never heard of.. not bad eh?😊
Missed only 3 and I wasn't born until 1970. Watched a great deal 60's movies and syndicated shows growing up.

46/50. that quiz was fun.
Marilyn Monroe was so beautiful!

The were some where I knew who they were but this old brain just would not dredge up the name. More, please.
I missed Ghandi and Ursula
Only 40... very cool
46 / 50 good quiz .🇬🇧
45/50 good fun, thanks
48 out of 50. Didn't recognize Nina Simone or Pablo Picasso. That was a really young picture of Jack Nicholson but I recognized his eyes.
The name memory is weak. Remembered all but two. Couldn't come up with the right name on 10. I hate getting old...
Born in 1959 got thirty names right and about 10 more I recognized but couldn’t remember their names like Ursala Andres and, forgive me, Richard Burton.
All correct except Joan Baez.. I knew she was a folksinger and said Joni Mitchell? ....Nearly a clean sweep!!!
47 out of 50. It helps to be old.
I didn’t get Warhol, Armstrong,Bergman and Simone
48 out of ,50
38/50. Missed some of the American ones.
The pictures chosen for this quiz were from the early 60s, most before they were known recognizable celebrities, which is still fair for this quiz.
Jimi Hendrix from the 50's???
Can't believe I missed Cher !!!!
She still had her original face.
Me too. But it was a before surgery pic sooo, understandable. Missed Jack Nicholson too cause he was so young. Didn't even look like he did in Easy Rider.
@@colleengaskill2792 😆 Exactly.
Easier than 70s

I was born in 1973. And I only missed 2(Diana Rigg and Brigitte Bardot) out of 50.
Can name these 1970s celebrities
Farrah Fawcett

Jimmy Carter
Michael Landon
Margaret thatcher
Linda ronstadt
Barry Manilow

47/50 Was that really Truman Capote? He had no glasses! And Za Za Gabor! Wow! I totally blanked on Picasso!!
29 correct. but only 6 of the 21 I missed were ones I flat out didn't recognise. The others I knew the faces, but couldn't come up with the name under 10 seconds.
I missed one and I don't know who she was the Simone girl ..I will have to look her up. cool video
50!
I lost track...42/50 I think.... not bad
I misses 17, embarrassing. I cannot get my brain to process the faces from all those artists from my past. Could be early dementia, caused from all my early self destruction. I love the music.
Only missed 3. Annette Funicello, Nina Simone and Pablo Picasso!
44/50 - easier to keep track of misses😀
Alive
Sophia Loren =88
Ann Margaret =81
Jack Nicholson =85
Raquel Welch =82
Jane Fonda =85
I knew all of them except Simone. But I won't admit how many I could actually name from a glance at the photo. My recall seems to extend to breakfast... um... I mean lunch (fortunately I'm having lunch now).
I only missed Annette funicello and Sandra Dee and wasn’t Sandra Dee more 50’s?
38/50. Didn’t recognize some of the younger images of these folks, since they lived so long and were photographed so long after the 60s.
23 I recognized some that I couldn't put a name to. I was a child in the 60s
A bit too American based for me, but I have to say brilliant music, 10/10 for that!!
I actually got 20 out of 50 but knew so many more but couldn't remember names, I did remember their, position in life, such as Che, Givoura etc
I knew all the celebrities when I saw their names but some of the pictures were not the best.
45 right. Knew them all except Neil Armstrong but couldn't remember their names in time.
Fabolous ❤

Great quiz! I just subscribed to your channel! I got 18 wrong. The only person in the quiz that I didn't recognize the name of was Diana Riggs. I'll have to look her up!
I couldn’t think of her real name, only her character in The Avengers, Mrs. Emma Peale.
That was my first response too. Mrs. Peel. But I got the name in time. She also played the part of James Bond's only wife. "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"

Ms. Simone was every bit as much a civil rights activist as anyone in the 60's...she could just sing, as well.

About 45, missed Capote, Nina Simone couple of others.
I just missed 2, one because I don't know her and two because I couldn't state her name, 2 of 50, not bad!!!
I missed two for the same reasons.
50 out of 50, although I did guess Capote.
I got all 50 on this one! 😁
46/50 no bad considering I was really young in the sixties
35/50 🙂
48/50. I missed Simone and Copote.
