Thank you so much for this video! Love your content and I have my interview coming up soon so I will find this super helpful. Do you have any advice on if you are looking to work at a specific camp? Is it something you should maybe mention to your agency that you are with? x
@@peachyylexi yay I’m so glad it was helpful!! Yes I’d share it with your agency, definitely don’t rule out other camps that don’t fit the same specifics but you can always mention that’s what you’re interested in xx
The other week I told you I hadn’t received a camp offer and since then I got an offer and had my interview and now they’ve offered me a place. It’s called camp blue ridge and it looks amazing
Hello! Thank you for your videos, i really love them, its so helpful ❤ I'm applying to Americamp 2025 and Ill go next week to a fair with a friend, where I hope we get contracts together in the same camp, but i have a few questions, if you can help me i would be over the moon honestly: 1. how many days are free days? (i know a girl who went in 2023 and told me in 8 weeks of work she had 4 free days... do you think it's a good offer?) 2. do they pay you weekly or monthly? 3. where can i find information about some camps appart for the websites? both for get to know more every camp and to try and find groups of campers for next year (i heard that is something they usually do on Facebook but its there other apps or plataforms that you know? Thank you very much ❤
@@andreawi7358 hi lovely! Ah that is so exciting! Unfortunately I can’t actually answer these questions as they’re all camp specific! Every camp will have different time off and different ways of paying you so you’ll need to ask camps when you speak with them! I always advise having a look on social media, Facebook groups etc to see if anyone else has been to that camp to get some info x
Hi! Thank you so much for this video. I’ve got a question. If I’m working with Camp leaders, should I only apply through their website or would it be a good idea to contact camps by their email? Idk. Also, I had an interview booked for yesterday and they called it off last minute, should I be worried?
@@jimenaesquivel8593 no I wouldn’t be worried! There’s been times I’ve had to reschedule interviews, anything can come up I’d just try to get another call locked in! In terms of contacting camps direct I would ask camp leaders what they advise and how you should go about it! 🫶🏼
@@annabellebutler6034 it is very late to be starting camp, a lot of camps will start mid June or earlier, I would advise contacting your agency to see if they have any camps in their hiring pool that have a late enough start date 🥰
I just had an interview with a camp that requires us to fly out on the 21st! I got the job as well (yay) but I was also very worried as I finish chem exams the day before (20th). What I did was I looked at camps that offer the activity I’d like to instruct (riding for me) and then made a list of the ones that started 29th as that’s usually the lastest and was the starting date for the camp I’ll be attending next summer. So it’s is absolutely doable!
@@siennademariassy8915 thanks so much for letting me know - looks like we are in the same position with late chemistry exam! Which agency are you using?
