Thank you for making these videos! You give newbie digital painters like me a shot at making something to be proud of! Also, these paintings so are therapeutic
I'm just starting with Procreate and iPad and your channel is giving me so much inspiration and knowledge, and your explanation of the process is so clear and easy to get into, thank you!!!
All your tutorials I've seen look so complicated that I've been hesitant to even attempt them. However, this one, I do believe I might be able to do. Looking forward to trying it. Thanks for posting this one and for specifying brush/size/opacity and even canvas size. Some don't do that, I've noticed.
just tried this and can't believe how good it looks...another great tutorial. easy to follow and allows for individual interpretation to 'create the effect'
Thank you for taking the time to explain your process. A few suggestions if I may; 1. Slow down between layer selection/creation 2. The finished illustration with the background is one of the reasons I decided to “copy” this image. Yes I can figure it out but others may not.
Your videos are soo inspirational. Your teaching style is very friendly and practical. Thank you for uploading such remarkable content for artists. I will surely try out this x-mas tree. Wishing you the best for your future artworks ! Happy Christmas too !!! :)
Wow that looks stunning, I have so many ideas of what I wanna make. A beautiful landscape with pine trees with snow on them and maybe a little fire ect. THERE is only one problem, I don't know how to paint haha! But I will learn with your really amazing videos.
Excellent my friend. Sorry I missed your last video. I will catch up on your last few videos over the next week which I have off. This one was stunning. Yes, Winter will be starting soon. Happy holidays to you!🎄👍
Really helpful tutorial, I’m just getting into the painting side of procreate (from more of a hatching/sketch style) and your videos have been very encouraging and helpful. I’ve always struggled with painting but your explanations are legit 💪
Good stuff as always. I’d love it if you could start to add some architecture to future drawings, like a log cabin, houses, or other various buildings. .
In the video description I give both the hexadecimal codes so you can type them in and create the palette yourself or there is also a link that takes you to my Patreon where the file is downloadable for free.
So beautiful ! I am using procreate for the very first time, how do you export this as a jpg that I can then use in photoshop and create a postcard? Thanks a lot and best wishes from Uruguay.
@@JamesJulier-Artist It definitely does James, the dark days don’t help either. Looking forward to more of your wintry scenes!!(maybe even a nighttime one if you have the inspiration).
Based on your explanation, it looks so simple and I did exactly everything according to the procedure, but my tree is just ugly :D :D :D Thank you very much for the tutorials you do. For me as a beginner in digital art it is extremely helpful :)
Love the way you teach Procreate - how you show what brushes, size, colors, etc...very clear...thank you!

Go for it and I think you’d surprise yourself with the others too if you have a go
@@JamesJulier-Artist Thank you. I did try it and it came out softer, more cozy than a realistic tree but I'm still happy with. Practice makes perfect.

hi, Love your tutorials, but when you say the colour pallet is in description below, I cannot find or see it? Help lease...
In the video description I give both the hexadecimal codes so you can type them in and create the palette yourself or there is also a link that takes you to my Patreon where the file is downloadable for free.
That was stunning, Cani assume you need a Apple Pencil with procreate ?
No but it’s the best experience with it rather than a finger
So beautiful ! I am using procreate for the very first time, how do you export this as a jpg that I can then use in photoshop and create a postcard? Thanks a lot and best wishes from Uruguay.
Hit the wrench symbol then the share and chose as a jpeg
