Cats are beautiful. I love seeing videos like this that show this dog loving world the truth about cat affection. People don't usually care enough to understand their cats and so there are a lot of misunderstandings and myths out there. Cats are loyal, affectionate, smart and are genuinely attached to people if you give them a chance to be. They are also very sensitive.

Kudos to this guy for stopping, dropping and paying 100% attention to his baby right when he arrives. People (myself included) get so caught up in what they need to get done, they tell themselves they will give their kitty attention "a bit later"........but they forget how desperately their kitties need a cuddle and reassurance right when they come home from being gone all day! You are your cat's entire world, when the kitty is an indoor only cat!❤

@@user-ek8cg7tm5s Sometimes for sure not a big deal......but if you ever watch the face of your cat when you brush by them and get busy on other stuff, instead of stopping to scoop them up and cuddle, you will see such hurt and sadness/disappointment in their eyes. It just takes 2 minutes to show them that you see them and love them....even just a pet on the head to say "I know you have been waiting for me and i will give you cuddles in awhile."......it can make such a difference in their happiness level!😸❤

Facts Red Rebel, took in a stray about 3 years ago, she was very skittish and aggressive, withing 6 months she was kind and not skittish and would always wait at the door as I come home from work purring and meowing alot. Cats that bond are the best.

That’s the same thing kids do when you try to put them down and they get all weird and curled up and won’t put their feet down.
Ah, landing gear got stuck, usually comes out when its stuck if you bring er' down a little faster. If that doesnt work simply land anyway and walk away, the landing gear should be out when you come back....OR but this is in extreme circumstances, genereally the landing gear just springs right out if you say "approaching juice station for refueling" at that point the bugger basically drives itself. Even crashes itself sometimes trying to get to the fuel station....thank God for self healing tech. Those repair bills aint cheap...

Both our fur babies love being held upside down like this. Our youngest, Oscar, was a rescue. He was very hissy and did not trust people at all when we got him. With some one on one time, play time, and just going about our day as usual, he ended up becoming the biggest cuddle bug ever. It was very heart warming to see him come full 180 🥰❤

That's because she's all alone all day. I once had a cat who would look at me with sad eyes every day before I left home for work, and would gladly greeted me when I came back. It's so sad because I knew she was lonely. When I adopted another cat, the behavior changed. She didn't feel lonely anymore, didn't look at me with sad eyes before I left anymore. In conclusion, having at least two cats is better.
This should be top comment, it's true. Cats aren't made to hang out in a lonely prison with occasional human contact only all the time - basically as a human commodity.

Lol I just wrote the same before reading your comment. Only I started off with two cats (brothers from the same lifter, Tom & Jerry) immediately because I didn’t want a cat to feel alone. Tom & Jerry often slept curled up together too.

I've been owned by cats for 30+ years, all have been affectionate in their own ways on their own terms. I believe a lot has to do with simply acknowledging them when they're around and interacting if they want to.

Bast has certainly given me her blessing. Our household has one kit of a feral, four ferals who came to our door at different times, and two ferals who came to a friend's yard. Before them a feral who came to our door and a feral who needed medical treatment and who went to the business of a friend and fellow cat servant.

My black shoulder cat, Vader, would greet me with a bow every time I came in the front door even if I had only been gone a few minutes. He taught himself how to jump from the floor onto my back when I bent down, hanging out on my shoulder like a parrot. He did this without being trained or coaxed with food, he figured it out on his own because that's how much he loved me. Vader turned 8 this April & died suddenly/unexpectedly 2 months later😪 I lost the love of my life that evening just after sundown. Now without my soul cat I'm the saddest girl in the world. I'm sorry for leaving so many comments about Vader on vids that make me think of him but I don't have many friends, I don't want to share on FB, most my family lives out of state & I know they are all tired of hearing me talk about him so I guess this is how I try to cope with his death. I'm still so devastated & have nothing to look forward to the future. Life 's just so bleak without him to come home to, to wake up to & hop-up to😭 I'll never get over this & I don't know if leaving these comments will help but I appreciate the forum for being here to do so.
Maybe consider purchasing a figurine that looks similar to your angel cat or a locket with tokens that remind you of him. I lost a cat myself, Bella. She was my everything and all I have left of her is a picture and a towel I let her lay on. It's very hard, and I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope this helps.

I have a tea light figurine of a sleeping cat & a little porcelain air plant holder that has a photo frame but haven't gotten his picture in it yet since actual printed photos are an old technology & I thought it would be too sad to see his picture everyday knowing I'll never see or hold him again in this life but you're right, it's way past time for it to remain empty & I won't let it sit empty any longer even if filling it reminds me of how empty my shoulder is without him.

Well guess I’m now a bad person and emotionally unintelligent, thanks. You cat people are very defensive and assuming. Cats aren’t emotionally intelligent animals. They are opportunistic obligate carnivores. I’ve shown my cat as much love, care and affection as I possibly can. I feed him organic human grade and starch free food cause I don’t want him to get cancer or other autoimmune conditions. I use toxin free Feline Pine cat litter and keep it clean. I give him toys, brush his hair with a comb and a brush glove that he loves. He cuddles up to me on the kitchen table but less so now because my roommate is obsessed with cats and he’s drawn to whoever can give him the most attention and treats. She also has a warm blanket that he sleeps on in her room and long nails to give him scratches. They don’t form lasting bonds like dogs do which are similar to when you adopt or have a child. They just gravitate towards the human with the most resources and attention they can find. I don’t judge them for it, they’re still more connected to their wild nature which is why I respect them and find them interesting.
But most dogs will become distant, aggressive and untrusting when owners abuse or neglect them so it’s not like it doesn’t take as much care and love to raise a happy and healthy dog.
My roommate who’s a “cat whisperer” and an owner of about 5 cats back in her home town agrees cats can be spoiled and emotionally unavailable no matter how much love an owner gives them.
I just don’t think a cats behavior is the most reliable barometer of how good of a person one is ya know??

I get greeted by my little babies every time I walk in the door. It just brightens my life to know that my 2 fur babies love me so much that they're happy to see me when I come home. Animals are God's gift to us and should be treasured.

one of our cats does the same thing to my mom, she knows at what time mom comes home and waits for her at the gate everyday. she also knows at what time mom wakes up and waits by her bedroom door every morning, and when my mom has the day off and sleeps until later the cat opens the door, enters the room, climbs into the bed and tries to wake mom up. she also likes to accompany everyone in the house to the gate when someone goes out and throws herself on her back just like that for some goodbye pets
I'm so envious of all you people with cats. I LOVE cats but am so allergic to them that I can't even be around people who have cats. 😫 My allergist told me I'm too allergic to cats to even get shots. Oh what I would give to be able to snuggle with a cat or even to just interact with them at all. I can only enjoy them digitally. 😥
My husband laughs at me because whenever I get too stressed, I have to go watch cat videos, lol.

My boyfriend told me that every morning at 4:55am, my cat comes to my bedroom door and waits for me to get up at 5. My bf works overnights so gets home from work about an hour before I wake up and just told me about this last week. Melted my heart! 😻

You know cute thing, cats do that sometimes to express they feel comfortable around you Thats they stretch when the meet you or greet you. It’s to show trust, or to initiate for touch like pets and rubs. Like if a dog is okay with you and they sneeze means it’s playing.

My friend cat starts rolling around every time it sees me. It’s funny he’ll flop over on its side (makes a boom! cause he chonky) and then he start rolling back and forth, scooting himself to me. Lmao. He wants me to rub its belly. It’s super fluffy too. He the only cat I’ve ever seen that wants you to pet it’s stomach. Name is Cow-Pow. 🐈

My cat does the same thing. Sometimes she is at the kitchen window, sees me coming home and by the time I put the key in the door, she is already downstairs, meowing, twirling and showing her belly. Such a great feeling to come to unconditional love 💘 🐈 😻
