Ivrea is a lovely city, but it seems you missed almost everything. Ivrea has a lovely lake called Lago Sirio up the hills. There you have nice restaurants, too and they are open in August. The beach club "Chalet Moia" at lago Sirio is the best curated club I have ever been to. The lawn is better maintained than any British garden. Worth a visit, especially if it is hot and you like swimming while admiring the mountain scenery. Then you have a castle up on the hills, you did not mention in your video. As far as I remember they have open air cinema in August. Mentioning the cinemas: Ivrea has one of the oldest cinemas in Italy. You should have only gone down the pedestrian road. You cannot miss it. You also did not mention the very special architecture of Olivetti. There are plenty of examples in Ivrea, but also in Torino. Due to its outstanding architectural quality Ivrea belongs to the Unesco world heritage. After all I was wondering of how much research you did on Ivrea. There are lot of other sites you could have gone to like the Morainic Amphitheatre or the very narrow streets of Borghetto. But the most surpising fact: You did not mention the carneval of Ivrea once. 😞
I did the high school in Ivrea! 🙂 And the primary and secondary schools in a village 4km far from Agliè...The castle of Aglié was a royal summer residence of the Savoia: absolutely worth visiting Ciaooo
Wow that’s a beautiful city. Thank you for this video.
Thank you ❤️❤️

Thanks for the suggestion, I'd love to visit more castles in Piedmont for sure!
@@DramaticallyExpatic 🙂
Ivrea is also famous for its traditional Carnival, in which the famous "Battle of Oranges" takes place!
True! Totally forgot about it 😅
@@DramaticallyExpatic Yes, but you did good to focus on Olivetti, since it's a less known but equally interesting. 👏
Great video...
