Dude.. you just solved me a major headache. Bought a new DJI Action 2 and the footage on my Crux35 was total pants... jello hell. Was soooo gutted. Stuck it on my Rekon 6 yesterday... butter smooth footage. (Phew!) So.. been round the houses looking at jello / vibrations etc. etc. til I found your vid. Did exactly this test - sure enough, horrible buzz vibration on one motor. Can't test yet as though no spares to hand - managed to get one from local U.K. supplier - woot! Pretty sure this should solve it now from what I seen. Cheers for posting, 👍
Glad to hear that! Happy flying!
Great video. Always a good idea to have a spare motor or parts for sure. Not fun if a motor gives up first day of vacation and its out of stock everywhere!
Absolutely and some of these micro parts are not locally available. I think I have 8 of these motors lying around, just in case. ;)
Thanks for making this!
Our pleasure!
Good video
Glad you enjoyed
+1👍 hmmm, i'd probably adjust my pids before i replaced a motor for such a minor dent. (unless the entire bell or shaft was bent, then a different story of course)
Absolutely! These PIDs were already working fine previously so knew that something mechanical had happened. Also, the damaged motor resonated quite a bit.
