The funny thing is, when The Exorcist popped up u were talking about decent movies. So it sounded like the Exorcist was just a decent movie to u and nothing more lol
Drumdums top ten and honourable mentions - Sissy, Bones & All. Top ten not in order - Pearl, X, The Black Phone, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Fresh, Prey, Halloween Ends, Christmas Bloody Christmas, Barbarian, Terrifier 2.
X was my number 1 too.I was a teenager in the 70s and it has a cast who I absolutely love.Lots of nostalgia in it.I didn't see the twist coming but loved it.
That scene with her sister in law at the table building up to what we all knew was coming was amazing! The tension and the shot of her coming from a distance down that driveway was my favorite sequence out of any horror movie I scene this year. Mia killed it in both X and Pearl.
With Halloween Ends, the only thing that truly bothered me was the lack of time for Laurie and Michael's final scene. Other than that, it was unique. I've always chose originality over repetition. That's why H3 was always my favorite behind the original Halloween.
Awesome list as always Drumdums, definitely agree with many of your picks. Here's mine: Honorable mentions are Pearl and Orphan First Kill 10 X 9 Prey 8 Scream 5 7 The Menu 6 Terrifier 2 5 Halloween Ends 4 Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022 3 The Black Phone 2 Barbarian 1 Smile
Thank you for including Halloween Ends on your list! Everything you said about it were my exact feelings after watching it. And I love that you mention the idea that so many fans think they're entitled to a certain film because it's what THEY want to see. As a lifelong lover of the franchise, I was quite happy with the movie and love the direction that Green and the rest of the crew took.

Great picks for this year DD! My subjective picks for this year: 1. Speak No Evil - shocking, could not stop thinking about it after viewing. 2. All My Friends Hate Me - this movie made me so unconfutable, great subject matter told in a great way, perfect ending. 3. The Menu - so clever, fun, all I can say is: Mass Formation 4. The Chalk Line - dark, did not know where it was going, shocked where it did. 5. When I Consume You - great Indy movie, refreshing, sibling relationship with something sinister going on. 6. Barbarian - so entertaining, wasn't a fan of the tonal shift. 7. X - solid slasher, great film making on display, did not find it as unique as other people did. 8. Hatching - I got a modern story telling with old school practical effects and body horror, right up my street. 9. Watcher - all about atmosphere! Loved it. 10. Significant Other - Surprised me, film about relationship and how the past can affect it, you also have something sinister in the background. Maika Monroe made it twice on my list. Thanks DD, to new beginning. Peace!

I loved this year for horror! It's actually easy for me to do a TOP 20 list considering how many solid horrors there were. It's interesting to see TCM (2022) in a top 10 list; I had a very good time with that myself & I didn't expect to! It's also trippy to me that Mia Goth AND Rebecca Hall gave outstanding monologues in horror movies this year! I just got through seeing "The Menu" tonight so THAT just easily jumped into my top 10 and I had some rearranging to do... My top 10 so far are: 10) Hellbender (not to be confused with "Hellraiser") 9) Prey 8) Pearl 7) Hatching 6) Smile 5) Terrifier 2 4) The Menu 3) Barbarian 2) Sissy 1) Resurrection (Order subject to change😎) Wow, a lot of just "one-word" movies!
Badass list, Lee 🔥 My top 10 would be: 1. Terrifier 2 2. Pearl 3. Prey 4. Hellraiser 5. Barbarian 6. Crimes of the Future 7. Nope 8. Smile 9. X 10. VHS 99
So many horror movies this year, man! But boy, most of them haven't had or won't have a theatrical release here in Spain... Either way, thank you for another TOP list, Lee, it is really helpful in order to keep track of some of the goodies that won't make it to the theaters here. Curious thing, I thought that maybe the new Hellraiser would have earned a spot, at least in the HM section.I'm so looking forward to checking that one out!
Love your rankings as always man! I will say I am one of those that hated Halloween Ends but loved Halloween Kills. I think the story they did in Ends would have been awesome if it wasn’t tied to the Halloween franchise though.
Great list as always ! Was waiting for yours to drop :) this year we have been spoilt as horror fans. My current 10 is - (I still want to check bones and all to see if it updates. I like the look and sound of that one) 1. Terrifier 2 2. X (in love with Mia goth, already my favourite modern day actress) 3. Violent night (not horror but I had to include it) 4. Pearl (paid a lot for a US blu ray, worth it though ) 5. The black Phone 6. Halloween Ends (glad I rewatched it) 7. Smile 8. Christmas bloody Christmas 9. Hellraiser 10. Fresh. I need to give TCM another go, I hear too many say they enjoy it. I think I was comparing too much to the greats of the franchise. Instead of just having fun with it.
Hey Lee great list as usual, I was looking forward to your list mid year. Like to share with you my top 10 1. Terrifier 2 2. Sissy 3. The sadness (I feel like everyone forgot this one) 4. The menu 5. Fresh 6. Pray 7. Pearl 8. Nope 9. Bodies, bodies, bodies 10. Smile
Solid list. My top 10 this year was: 10. Smile 9. Scream 5 8. Fall 7. Nope 6. Orphan: First Kill 5. Christmas Bloody Christmas 4. Barbarian 3. Black Phone 2. X 1. Terrifier 2 With an honorable mention to Pearl.
Great list, man! Loved finding your channel this year and seeing you review all the good films this year. My top 5 1. Barbarian 2. Screa/V\ 3. The Black Phone 4. Pearl (+ X) 5. Deadstream
Initially as much as I love Terrifier 2, X, Smile, yes even Scream 5,I think my favorite horror film of 2022 is Prey. And I haven't seen all of Shudder's 2022 releases yet. I love Predator and it's hard to come back after The Predator. Prey accomplished something great.
Great list! It's been such a great year for horror. Got quite a few of my friends into these. Mentions: Barbarian, The Black Phone, and No Exit. All good films, it's been a stacked year, lol. 10. Bodies bodies bodies 9. Orphan first kill 8. Fresh 7. Nope 6. Pearl 5. Prey 4. X 3. Smile 2. Terrifier 2 1. Hellraiser
Great list and I absolutely agree with on Halloween Ends. It was refreshing that we didn't just have another Michael vs Laurie vs the rest. I liked where they took this.
My top 10 favorite horror movies of the year 10. Day Shift 9. Fresh 8. Prey 7. Nope 6. Barbarian 5. Pearl 4. Terrifier 2 3. X 2. The Black Phone 1.The Menu
Couldn't agree more about Halloween Ends. I had it at number 8 and I'm getting hounded about my "wrong" opinion. I pray for you putting it at number 3, Lee lol.
I like Smile, Terrifier 2, Black Phone, and Nope. Those are my favorite horror films this year. I never saw Prey or The Netflix Chainsaw Massacre, because I don’t have the Disney or Netflix subscription. I only subscribe to Peacock. If a film was not in movie theaters or not available on a physical media format, I will probably never see it.
I haven't seen Pearl yet. I don't know if I can do a top ten yet but my favorites from this year are 5cream, X, and Barbarian. Definitely a big year for horror, although I still think 2018 was the best year for horror in the last decade(Hereditary, Halloween, Suspiria, A Quiet Place, The Strangers Prey at Night, etc).
I'm a huge slasher fan so terrifier 2 and Christmas bloody Christmas were my favorites for 2022.Badass shirt by the way,I definitely need one of those.Uf u don't mind saying....where did you get that.
Loved the list Lee, appreciate all the content you give us👍 I agree with all u included but glad I saw few people in comments mention the new Hellraiser movie on Hulu. I was surprised how much I enjoyed that one, would deffo include that on my top10 for this year. Happy holidays & Happy New Year btw
Its what makes human life so interesting, humans have such varied interests that a top anything list is so great whether it is movies, music, games, or any other interest you may have.
Great top 10 list Lee. 2022 was a stacked year for horror. My top 15 are 1. X 2. Pearl 3. Terrifier 2 4. Barbarian 5. The Sadness 6. Speak No Evil 7. Scream (2022) 8. Soft & Quiet 9. Fresh 10. Orphan First Kill 11. Christmas Bloody Christmas 12. Sissy 13. Bodies Bodies Bodies 14. Prey 15. The Black Phone The 2 worst horror films I watched this year was definitely Bring It On: Cheer or Die and Jeepers Creepers Reborn.
Your top two are solid, and also my top two. I haven’t seen your 3,5,6,8,10 of your top 10, but I’m interested to check them out based on your other rankings. Bodies was worth watching for the reveal alone, which I still laugh about any time I think of it
I feel that Halloween ends is not the worst movie in the franchise but it's definitely not the best either it had creative ideas just terrible execution and a weak ending for the series .
Very solid list! Been an incredible year for horror. Still haven’t seen The Menu, but my current list: 1. NOPE 2. Barbarian 3. X 4. Pearl 5. Fresh 6. Smile 7. The Black Phone 8. Watcher 9. Resurrection 10. Prey 11. Scream (5) 12. Halloween Ends Honorable Mention: Terrifier 2, Hellraiser, Speak No Evil
I finally watched Pearl. Here is my personal favorite list: 1. 5cream 2. X 3. Barbarian 4. Pearl 5. The Black Phone 6. Halloween Ends 7. Terrifier 2 8. Orphan: First Kill 9. Smile 10. They/Them Honorable mention to Nope. I thought it was pretty good but I liked Us and Get Out better. There were a few more from this year I didn't see.
Of that list, I've only seen three - X, Barbarian and The Black Phone. They are all good, but the The Black Phone is far and away my favorite of the them.
Just side note here. I saw you in that movie fanboy 13! I didn’t finish it yet and I even lost the streaming Chanel I had it on. I gotta look it up but the part I saw you in was great brother. I thought stopped watching for a second and came on here lol. Great job brother
My personal top 5 from this year 5.) Black phone 4.) Halloween ends 3.) X 2.) Pearl. (I love Mia Goth) 1.) Terrifier 2 Respectfully 🤘🤘 Keep it wicked Lee!!!
I'm behind on a bunch from this year still but out of the ones I've seen: 10. SCREAM 9. ORPHAN: FIRST KILL 8. TERRIFIER 2 7. BARBARIAN 6. HALLOWEEN ENDS 5. HELLRAISER 4. SIGNIFICANT OTHER 3. THE BLACK PHONE 2. FRESH 1. WATCHER
@@DrumdumsOfficial I really enjoyed the slow build, creepy atmosphere, the Kubrick-style shots, and the tension. Plus Maika Monroe I'm liking more and more every time I see her!
Great Video! One of my favourite movies last year was Halloween Ends. I dont get why this flick is so hated. It was a badass of a movie! Starts with a banger and grows with every minute
what moments? Micheal had only 1 good kill... The woman kill and it was also in the trailer LMAO It ain't a bad movie, but the trailer was a lie! This wasn't Micheal's movie! it was Corey! a character we don't care about or was even pointless at this point
@@DrumdumsOfficial 🌰🌰🌰! I've heard that argument a lot, but of any flick I've seen this year, as much as the characters were kinda terrible people, they were more realistic and relatable to me than any other! So ya, you 🌰🌰🌰! 😉
My Top 10 Horror Movies of 2022: 1. The Menu (2022) 2. Barbarian (2022) 3. X (2022) 4. Terrifier 2 (2022) 5. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) 6. Prey (2022) 7. The Cursed (2022) 8. The Black Phone (2022) 9. Mad God (2022) 10. Halloween Ends (2022)
2019 was great year as well. Whenever I see posts about how horror fans have been eating good this year, I think about how many great movies we have gotten in the past. Ever since I was born there's been nothing but great horror movies coming out. What year/years did we not get great movies or lack of horror movies?
Great list and interesting rankings, as you always give. I haven't seen quite as many as you have this year (to be expected from my region just not getting distribution), but I am confident with my favorites as they are. As follows, if you like: 1. The Black Phone 2. X 3. Halloween Ends 4. The Menu 5. Nope 6. Bones and All 7. Barbarian 8. Men 9. Terrifier 2 10. Prey Honorable mentions: Scream 5, Smile. And for when I eventually see them, Pearl and Hellraiser 2022; hope to rank the former as tied for the 2 spot, at least.
Halloween Ends was great and you should say it louder for the people in the back!! “This movie misled me!” is a hilarious criticism. Another Michael chasing Laurie movie would have been repetitive and people are kidding themselves refusing to acknowledge that. LOVED the new direction they took. Let the cult following begin!
Happy Holidays, Lee! Here’s my top 10 horror of 2022: 1. Halloween Ends 2. Scream 5 3. Pearl 4. The Black Phone 5. The Menu 6. Nope 7. Watcher 8. Bones and All 9. Fresh 10. X Honorable mention: Barbarian
Great list Lee!...What a year it's been for horror!! One of the best ever! & ou of curiosity, Just wondering how close Oprhan First Kill came to cracking top 10?
Glad to see some love for TCM '22. You share my exact thoughts on the movie. Not the best thing in the world but far better than expected going in to it. The gore was great. Short and sweet slasher flick.
My top ten that I have seen 1. X 2. Pearl - mia goth kills it 3. Terrifier 2 - gore hounds unite! 4. Nope 5. Black phone 6. Barbarian tape measure lol 7. Prey (I personally dont categorize it as horror but everyone else seems to) 8. Mad god (also not quite horror but watch it. Shudder for anyone not aware) 9. Fresh 10. H ends Ps. Thank you for highlighting how prey isnt "woke" so sick of that word, especially when its used as a fake ass criticism of something it doesn't apply to. Naru and taabe were both great characters. Both had faults and strengths which negates arguments to the contrary.
2022 got me back into watching movies but really I only saw 11 movies from this year because I had a lot of catching up to do. Only bad movie I saw this was Goodnight Mommy. 1. Top Gun: Maverick 2. Barbarian 3. Pearl 4. X 5. Black Phone 6. Smile 7. Scream 2022 8. Nope 9. Halloween Ends 10. Hellraiser 2022
Shoot, between RUclips and video games, not counting the movies I've seen about a million times before that I put on as background noise while I'm gaming, don't think I've seen 10 movies this year. Certainly not 10 new movies this year. In fact, only one I've seen that was on your list is Halloween Ends. Still feeling like the first death scene in Halloween Ends was the funniest moment in the whole franchise. 😂🤣😂🤣 But Barbarian and Black Phone, got both movies if I ever find time to watch them. Pearl and X, wondered where you'll be placing them. Pretty high, that's for sure. I may buy them when they 3rd one comes out as a 3 bundle. Not like I'll have any time to watch them before hand anyways. Still, thank you, Lee.
Great video. Big fan of your channel. Yeah you're right most of these horror movies wasn't woke or as woke as others said. Happy new year, and fingers crossed for more great horror films this year! The next scream, (scream 6) is looking promising, fingers crossed. And severe wokeness in movies hurts the film a lot. Just like in TV shows. Disney: *cough cough*
Great list Lee... That being said I wouldn't have added Trxas Chainsaw Massacre on my list. And I haven't seen Terrifier 2 yet so if I had to replace these two I would add Smile & Nope to the list. You are the man though. You do elaquaintly discuss these horrible films in such a great way.
Fantastic list! Waaay better than Bloody Disgusting's list. They didn't even include Fresh!! How do you not include that one? Lol my list is similar, except I would've included Scream 5. Just loved how much more brutal and scary Ghostface was. Also thank you for including the new Texas Chainsaw
All please forgive that Exorcist poster drop. I forgot to delete it. Ugh. Hate when that happens. Enjoy the list!
I mean….I liked it!
No Worries

The funny thing is, when The Exorcist popped up u were talking about decent movies. So it sounded like the Exorcist was just a decent movie to u and nothing more lol
I didn't even notice the exorcist poster
No worries men

Mia Goth deserves an Oscar nomination for Pearl.
Definitely.
No she actually deserves an Oscar Win for her performance
That scene with her sister in law at the table building up to what we all knew was coming was amazing! The tension and the shot of her coming from a distance down that driveway was my favorite sequence out of any horror movie I scene this year. Mia killed it in both X and Pearl.
@@bigsheed9003 Honestly her audition performance that leads to the inevitable was so good as well
I suspect we can add her to the list, joining Toni Collette in Hereditary, and Florence Pugh in Midsommar. Not even a damn nomination
so impressed you maintained your love for Halloween ends!!
It wasn’t hard at all.
It was a pleasant surprise for how good it was, definitely doesn't deserve the hate
With Halloween Ends, the only thing that truly bothered me was the lack of time for Laurie and Michael's final scene. Other than that, it was unique. I've always chose originality over repetition. That's why H3 was always my favorite behind the original Halloween.
I think it went in a different direction because that’s what season of the witch did as well.
i’m not a huge horror buff, but i have to say that this was a fantastic year for horror!
Definitely.

TERRIFIER 2 definitely the best for extreme gore in a mainstream(theatrical) movie, hands down.
Hey Lee great list as usual, I was looking forward to your list mid year. Like to share with you my top 10

My top 5

3. The Black Phone
4. Pearl (+ X)
5. Deadstream
Thank you Alfred!
10. Bodies bodies bodies
9. Orphan first kill
8. Fresh
7. Nope
6. Pearl
5. Prey
4. X
3. Smile
2. Terrifier 2
1. Hellraiser
Great list and I absolutely agree with on Halloween Ends. It was refreshing that we didn't just have another Michael vs Laurie vs the rest. I liked where they took this.
It was horrible .People in the theater were booing ... Yes its different but not good bad film making sorry stay well
Who cares what people in the theater were doing?
Terrifier 2, Smile, X and Barbarian were my favorites.
My top 10 favorite horror movies of the year
10. Day Shift
9. Fresh
8. Prey
7. Nope
6. Barbarian
5. Pearl
4. Terrifier 2
3. X
2. The Black Phone
1.The Menu
Couldn't agree more about Halloween Ends. I had it at number 8 and I'm getting hounded about my "wrong" opinion. I pray for you putting it at number 3, Lee lol.
It’s been brutal brother. Standing firm.
I put it at #6 😂
I like Smile, Terrifier 2, Black Phone, and Nope.
I've watched about 70 horror movies of 2022 and I'm not ready yet either, got to go back and watch all my 3.5 and 4 star movies again

Finally someone who knows their horror movies and included Halloween Ends in it !!! Scream 5 should be in the list, still a good list nonetheless...
Thank you! I liked Scream 5 somewhat, but it had some issues for me.
It was definitely the best Hellraiser movie since 3.
Best year for horror in years.
Great list. I always love to check out other people lists. That's what make the film community so rich ❤️
Its what makes human life so interesting, humans have such varied interests that a top anything list is so great whether it is movies, music, games, or any other interest you may have.
@@aaronrumph3291 Exactly.
That's why i don't understand why people get so mad when someone doesn't had the same or even similar taste in things.
Great top 10 list Lee. 2022 was a stacked year for horror. My top 15 are
1. X
2. Pearl
3. Terrifier 2
4. Barbarian
5. The Sadness
6. Speak No Evil
7. Scream (2022)
8. Soft & Quiet
9. Fresh
10. Orphan First Kill
11. Christmas Bloody Christmas
12. Sissy
13. Bodies Bodies Bodies
14. Prey
15. The Black Phone
The 2 worst horror films I watched this year was definitely Bring It On: Cheer or Die and Jeepers Creepers Reborn.
Your top two are solid, and also my top two. I haven’t seen your 3,5,6,8,10 of your top 10, but I’m interested to check them out based on your other rankings. Bodies was worth watching for the reveal alone, which I still laugh about any time I think of it
I know I’m way behind not watching T2, as everyone seems to really like it. Not sure if that abbreviation I used works, could def be confusing 😂
I feel that Halloween ends is not the worst movie in the franchise but it's definitely not the best either it had creative ideas just terrible execution and a weak ending for the series .
Nice! I guess it really is christmas.
Consistent content king you are Lee!! X is my top pic. Resident evil, scream and Texas chainsaw are on my top 5
Thanks Brian!
Very solid list! Been an incredible year for horror. Still haven’t seen The Menu, but my current list:
1. NOPE
2. Barbarian
3. X
4. Pearl
5. Fresh
6. Smile
7. The Black Phone
8. Watcher
9. Resurrection
10. Prey
11. Scream (5)
12. Halloween Ends

Damn! The Menu was solid. I forgot to put it on here.
I finally watched Pearl. Here is my personal favorite list:
1. 5cream
2. X
3. Barbarian
4. Pearl
5. The Black Phone
6. Halloween Ends
7. Terrifier 2
8. Orphan: First Kill
9. Smile
10. They/Them
Honorable mention to Nope. I thought it was pretty good but I liked Us and Get Out better. There were a few more from this year I didn't see.
Christmas bloody Christmas was a really fun movie
Indeed.
Didn't see Fresh or Terrifier 2,didn't enjoy TCM or Barbarian, but..... Greatness: The Black Phone & X!!! Respect your list though, Lee.
1. X
2. Smile
3. Pearl
4. Scream (2022)
5. Nope
6. Halloween Ends
7. The Black Phone
8. Hellrasier
9. Barbarian
10. Bodies Bodies Bodies
Haha thanks man. It was fun doing that.
My personal top 5 from this year
5.) Black phone
4.) Halloween ends
3.) X
2.) Pearl. (I love Mia Goth)
1.) Terrifier 2
Respectfully 🤘🤘
Keep it wicked Lee!!!
Nice list DK!
I'm behind on a bunch from this year still but out of the ones I've seen:
10. SCREAM
9. ORPHAN: FIRST KILL
8. TERRIFIER 2
7. BARBARIAN
6. HALLOWEEN ENDS
5. HELLRAISER
4. SIGNIFICANT OTHER
3. THE BLACK PHONE
2. FRESH
1. WATCHER
I need to give Watcher another try.
@@DrumdumsOfficial I really enjoyed the slow build, creepy atmosphere, the Kubrick-style shots, and the tension. Plus Maika Monroe I'm liking more and more every time I see her!
Incantation on Netflix was in my top 10 of 2022. Terrifier 2 and X were in my top 10 also.
Haven't heard of Incantation. Definitely adding to my list.
YES! So glad you have Barbarian on here SO WORTH THE WATCH!!!
Biggest surprise of the year for me.
What new horror movies are everyone looking forward too? I can't wait for the Salems lot remake that's coming out in 2023
Probably Megan the promoting for this movie has been insane: Megan trash talking on social media, that dance
MaXXXine is coming up next after Pearl and X. Hopefully it matches the previous two!
Can’t wait. I’m 💯 convinced this goes down as best horror trilogy all time
Jeremy Jahns done his top 10 worst movies of 2022!
I can't wait any longer Lee >_< Grrrrr
Thank you for all your videos in 2022, Drumdums. Love your channel.
You're welcome Alex. Thank you for watching.
Awesome list.
Thank you!
@@DrumdumsOfficial you're welcome
Great Video! One of my favourite movies last year was Halloween Ends. I dont get why this flick is so hated. It was a badass of a movie! Starts with a banger and grows with every minute
It's extremely divisive for sure.
Awesome top 10. I really enjoyed smile and orphan 2 also. I still need to watch Terrifier 2 🙂
It doesn’t matter if Halloween movies are shit, you will love them
I can’t stand Resurrection or Rob zombies Halloween. But keep talking.
Love the cobra shirt!!! Ps when does Halloween come out on dvd?
Ends came out this week.
Great list I agree with the ones I saw being top 10 except one
Nice list my man, idk I must be missing something with x and pearl but glad u got hends so high
Bro I love those movie to bits.
I feel like Halloween Ends had it's moments but as a whole missed 🤷
what moments? Micheal had only 1 good kill... The woman kill and it was also in the trailer LMAO
It ain't a bad movie, but the trailer was a lie! This wasn't Micheal's movie! it was Corey! a character we don't care about or was even pointless at this point
Dude! No Hellraiser? You're nuts McCoy! Nuts! Was my favourite of the year!
No sir. And I liked it, but it didn’t have great characters like the first.
@@DrumdumsOfficial 🌰🌰🌰! I've heard that argument a lot, but of any flick I've seen this year, as much as the characters were kinda terrible people, they were more realistic and relatable to me than any other! So ya, you 🌰🌰🌰! 😉
My Top 10 Horror Movies of 2022:
1. The Menu (2022)
2. Barbarian (2022)
3. X (2022)
4. Terrifier 2 (2022)
5. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
6. Prey (2022)
7. The Cursed (2022)
8. The Black Phone (2022)
9. Mad God (2022)
10. Halloween Ends (2022)
besides Halloween Ends & Nope, W year..
Terrifier 2, Hellraiser comeback, Barbarian, Smile actually being a normal film, X, Pearl, Chucky show!!
Great breakdown my friend. Love hearing your picks for best of the year.
Thanks brother! Hope you're doing well.
As follows, if you like:
1. The Black Phone
2. X
3. Halloween Ends
4. The Menu
5. Nope
6. Bones and All
7. Barbarian
8. Men
9. Terrifier 2
10. Prey
Honorable mentions: Scream 5, Smile. And for when I eventually see them, Pearl and Hellraiser 2022; hope to rank the former as tied for the 2 spot, at least.
Hooray, found a new import Blu-ray of Pearl and can safely say it nabs the number two spot after one viewing. So, X/Pearl. 🙂
Here’s my top 10 horror of 2022:
1. Halloween Ends
2. Scream 5
3. Pearl
4. The Black Phone
5. The Menu
6. Nope
7. Watcher
8. Bones and All
9. Fresh
10. X
Honorable mention: Barbarian
Great list Lee!...What a year it's been for horror!! One of the best ever! & ou of curiosity, Just wondering how close Oprhan First Kill came to cracking top 10?
It just missed the HMs. I dug it.
Awesome shirt man.
Thank you!
Glad to see some love for TCM '22. You share my exact thoughts on the movie. Not the best thing in the world but far better than expected going in to it. The gore was great. Short and sweet slasher flick.
Yeah man don't get the hate.
My top ten that I have seen
1. X
2. Pearl - mia goth kills it
3. Terrifier 2 - gore hounds unite!
4. Nope
5. Black phone
6. Barbarian tape measure lol
7. Prey (I personally dont categorize it as
horror but everyone else seems to)
8. Mad god (also not quite horror but watch it. Shudder for anyone not aware)
9. Fresh
10. H ends
Ps.
1. Top Gun: Maverick
2. Barbarian
3. Pearl
4. X
5. Black Phone
6. Smile
7. Scream 2022
8. Nope
9. Halloween Ends
10. Hellraiser 2022
X not only surprised me but I ended up loving that movie and I also would put that at the top of my top 10 of the year
The little sister in black phone was the best part of black phone, though I won't be watching it again
She was great!
Terrifier 2
Texas chainsaw massacre
Black phone
Scream 5
To me halloween ends it wasnt a good ending to the trilogy .. is interesting but it not fix properly with the previous 2
Scream was my number one horror ends was really disappointing good list 😃
Thank you my guy!
Haha thanks Dan!
Thank you!
I respect the hell out of your list, I totally agree with your opinions on Halloween ends and texas chainsaw massacre
Thank you!
Thank you Lee! Good list. I definitely agree with your top 2. For sure. Some of the best horror: I’ve seen in a while. Came out 2022
Yes this was a great year for Horror!
