As a Frenchman, seeing this dude gives me nightmares 😂 so many bad memories associated with him. Great player
As a Welshman I can’t wait to see him play France at 13. We never gave him the ball enough when he was on the wing but now he gets it a lot. Never seems to have a bad game vs France. He is often aided by french mistakes but still have played well a lot of those games

Truly world class, as a Welshman he is hands down one of my favourite players to ever wear the Welsh shirt.
I love the guy but I don't think you can say he's world class. He was the best winger in the world for a while but injuries got him.
Really? Recently he’s not the best. 2 young guys has taken his wing positions and if parkes would be available he wouldn’t be in the starting 15
He was never really world class had a few good games that’s about it

It makes you wonder how Wales would have done without George North, he's been absolutely central to their success over the last decade.
I'd hate to play against him, you wouldn't know if he was going to skin you on the outside or just run right through you.
What's remarkable is that he played wing in a Wales team that didn't score a great many tries under Gatland - just enough to get in the lead, then defend like crazy!
Now he's move infield to centre, where he'll receive more passes, and playing under Pivac - who values a wider game, running game - added to his immense experience, George may end up scoring tries at a greater rate than at any other time. He'll pass Shane's record at some point, and if he plays until his mid thirties - which is possible as he's playing in Wales, and his gametime is carefully managed - he could end up with more caps than AWJ and tries knocking three figures.
You have to give it to George he was pretty special when he first came on the scene. Brilliant for the Lions in Australia.
Watched this whole video just to Ken Owens' face when he got denied the try against England.

Tactic vs France: kick the ball towards their try line with North chasing. Let them get there first. Watch panic wash over them as they gift the ball to North. Try.
Really hope he gets back to his best always been one of my favourite players especially after his tackle on Farrell years ago
When George changes direction it looks like an immense locomotive changing tracks. Excellent contrast to the legion of Welsh side-step wizards.

George never gives up on a chase even when it looks like the defender will beat him to the ball, but when they fumble the ball he is right on top of them.

Top player. I attended two 6N games in my life. France v Wales 2013 and Wales v France 2014. I saw two tries from North none from my beloved french team. Enough said 😂

One of the best Welsh players of all time and one of the only ones from my part of Wales - the North!
He's so good a picking lines and holes to run through. I think if he's going to play in the centre he needs to play 12 as crash ball Jamie Roberts 2.0 with Davies outside him. Davies better with the ball in hand would release Adams and LRZ much more imo. Could be lethal. World class player
jonathan davies is passed it to slow now and north is a better 13 imo as we can always have him crash at 13 and play out the back to a 12 or a 15 and at 13 he has more space to create something out of nothing such as the try against ireland in the 6 nations

George North is the epitome of Welsh rugby. When he’s not on form, Wales aren’t on form. When he is, Wales are lethal.

the way he runs is like old pathe film footage of athletes from days of old. Michael Johnson did it pretty good on the track. cadence didn't look super fast but the power underneath was the thing. once into his stride he certainly took some stopping. BOD was fast but it was angles. Jonathon Davies is another with speed and power but very effective, Davies best of the 2.
He equals former All Black winger Jeff Wilson's record. AMAZING!!
