Just bought my first home and found your channel and haven’t been able to stop binge watching. I have a 13,500 sqft yard and can’t wait to dial in my yard.
I usually mix KBG with TTTF or PRye. I don't usually mix TTTF or PRye, since their germination times are really close. I cut my TTTF at 3"+ and my PRye at 1.5"-2"
Frank and beans putting green, that’s gotta put Yardpops property value at a cool million then! It’s going off in your hood this year! Delivery dude accused me of Astro turf yesterday 🤙🏻👊🏻👍🏻🔥
At least a cool millie bro 😂 The hood is about to have some major looking lawns this year that's for sure!!!! Why do we always get accused of astro turf 😂🤙🏾💪🏾🙏🏾🫡
Coastal Washington and Oregon is perennial rye capital. TTTF for the back, but nothing so deep green as PRG. If you can keep the KBG alive, it will be a show stopper front lawn.
In Chicago I quit cutting my Kentucky Midnight Blue grass late September early October 2023. The weather stayed mild and the grass kept growing. I started cutting again April 9th 2024. The grass was crazy thick, felt like walking on tight sponge and the color was insane. I had some crabgrass so I cut the grass down low to apply Scoots with Halts and it was mostly a golden color like straw and I have no idea as to why. please gimme some direction.
Never... I used surfactant for tenacity like the first season and after that never did cause I didn't notice a difference it would bleach no matter what... and as for foliar just the natural product sprayed down... it might be beneficial 🤷🏾♂️ I just don't use surfactants ☺️🤙🏾
My dude if you want a bangin short cut lawn go with Bermuda these are mostly cool season... you might be ok with tall fescue but Bermuda would be my go to ☺️🤙🏾
till April 15th.... I recommend pre germinating until the seed splits but it's hard to tell with Kentucky blue cause the seed is so small 😂 Generally I would pre germinate any seed for minimum 5 days maximum for Kentucky 7... I'll pre germinate a batch of like 1 lbs to see how long it should really take ☺️🤙🏾
Buy this amzn.to/3xw1vPT I tried everything in the book for a full month... I finally used these... find their fresh tunnel place this in the middle of the tunnel an make sure to cover it up with leaves and dirt that's the key so it doesn't shine light through and BAM! instant unalive mode 😂🤙🏾
Soak your drift wood in water let it bleed out the tannins soak and repeat till darkness is gone plus the tannins are good for the fish after time the tannins with disappear and water will be clear
boiled it twice put it in the tank and still tannins... put it in a giant bucket to soak and did water changes every couple days for months... still... it's this type of drift wood it won't stop bleeding... even used the bio chem zorb multiple bags to try and soak it up.. still black 😩😂🤙🏾

well.... we have a river next door where they usually live... literally a van down by the river... it's been controlled by the city but they still find their way to the hood 😂🤙🏾
@@YardBrah FYI fellow Washingtonian here, just a bit north of Seattle. At least you don't have quite the homeless problem there. Appreciate the content and vibe. Peace brother.

Can't wait for you to send pics of your lawn dialed in! ☺️🤙🏾
I can't stop watching...and adding things to an amazon wish list.

Oh nice! Yeah PR at 1.5" is so nice! it's like short enough to be considered short but tall enough to hide the imperfections 😂🤙🏾

@@YardBrah I take it as the ULTIMATE compliment
You gotta start putting out your pink flamingos now. 😂
I put my seed in the ice box for a week then soak it? My blue grass started growing in about 2 weeks?
I'ma try pre-germing this fall. I'm on a budget brah, so I'm sticking to the Pennington Rebel seeds. Maybe later when my funds get better.
I'm guessing you have a giant lawn cause Pennington Rebel is still kinda pricey! Send updates and pics would like to see how that seed does ☺️🤙🏾
The front is lookin Sweet
I feel like everyone should take their shoes off curbside. Like I wouldn’t even want to walk on that lawn in shoes. Dayam!
I mean it is an asian household 💀😂🤙🏾

Love the content. We are here in Ohio where tall fescue seems to be grass of choice. Any recommendations for our cool season grass?
I'm using all BLACKOUT seed this season he has a TTTF you can mix in with your situation! thelawnlife.com ☺️🤙🏾

Do u add any surfactants to help the product stick?

How often and how much hydratein are you gonna spray in the summer?
How many days are you pre-germinating that KGB?

Rye/KBG only for me dawg
TTTF only, my vote.
that was on my mind as well 😩😂🤙🏾
I have always heard to change it every 12 hours. Or twice a day. I'm sure your fine changing it every 24 hours tho.
Yeah last season I did it every 24 hours and it germinated nicely... the back back is my proof 😂🤙🏾

What is sad is that in that expensive of a neighborhood, you have crackheads stealing stuff from your shed.
