We bought one of those "Honda quad bikes" too. We already had a cart, but didn't use it. We used to pile garden debris on a tarp and pull it to the burn pile. Being in our 70s, it is so much nicer now.

Awesome progress guys! All those bits of wood lying around are a wonderful resource if you can figure out how to use them as building materials.
Yeh for sure! Lots of good firewood in there too although I’m a bit sick of firewood atm haha
My lovely wife says your example setting with all the PPE when using the chainsaw is commendable; don't often see that on the Tubes. Hi from Nelson :)
Haha thanks! Definitely need to treat the chainsaw with a bit of respect aye, it’s a scary tool!
I wanted a track through a patch of bush (live in Northland) and ended up getting a local contractor with a digger to do the job. Well worth it - he did an excellent job, quickly (3 hrs) for a very reasonable price. Cyclone Gabe subsequently made a big mess but hey that's life i suppose!
Good idea with the digger! I thought about maybe hiring a little one for a weekend when we want to make more tracks, would be way faster than the rake haha
