- It's been a while! Christmas and New Years are done and dusted, we have chopped a year's worth of firewood, ticked off some projects on the property and now it's time to hitch up the caravan and hit the road for a bit.
Join us in this weeks video as we head off to Auckland to spend time with family. We also check out the famous Glenbrook Vintage Railway.

Impromptu trips are the best. With me retired and my good lady working Monday to Thursday we will suddenly decide to have a quick weekend away. I will get the van and pick her up from work and we will go somewhere not too far away, about an hour or so, spend the weekend chillin and letting the dog have a good run, then come home Sunday afternoon. You can’t beat it.

The Auckland trip was a good idea, just in case you''d forgotten how to tow. 😆 I'm looking forward to your Coromandel adventures and hope you're having good beach weather. I'll be on the road in mid April in a rental campervan. My first holiday for over 2 years. Heading to the north of the South Island.
Oh how exciting! Not a bad time to travel April as it’s still pretty warm but everyone else has had their summer holidays already 😉 where abouts are you headed in the north of the South Island?
Depending on the weather I'll head over one of the passes and enjoy my favourite drive slowly up the Coast Road as far as Gentle Annie (of course), then back to Tasman/Nelson, Marlborough, Whites Bay, and the Kaikoura Coast. I started this trip in March 2020 but only got a few days in and the pandemic lockdown put a stop to things. Unfinished business!@@AdventuresWithRosy

Bought one of the Bosch tyre inflators from mitre 10, great to have, take it with a puncture repair kit when we do the Rotorua tracks.
Yeh it’s proven to be a handy little tool! I’ve used it a few times with the bike tires now and the quad bike at home and it’s great 👍
