The Cosplay Closet bit was hilarious and I loved it 🤣🤣This reminds me that I really need to clean my wigs ;-; And congrats on 1000!!! Im so excited for the Mushroom Milestone video and all of your other projects
If you wanna thicken a wig buy two of the same one and steal the wefts of one and stich them to the other.

Thank you so much!! AS for the wig tip, I appreciate it! I definitely think that's probably the best solution here, especially with so much heavy hair, it's going to need way more than just the hair that it has. Hopefully I can put all this good advice into my next tries :))

That overdone gameshow-esque section was so funny :'DD I've never styled a wig(shoot, I've never even touched a wig) but this was really fun to watch! I'm looking forward to the 1000k video ^^

I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, thank you for watching :)) (Also I'm glad so many people enjoyed the gameshow bit, it's a little different from my usual, so I was worried it would come across weird, but it's made me happy to know that others really enjoyed the silliness!!)

These turned out great! I think they're way better than you think -- pro tip, be careful about the heat when washing them in the future. Those hot glue wefts are awesome but you don't want them to melt in the wash!

Thank youuuuu-- THAT IS A GREAT TIP. I didn't think of it at the time because I was panicking a little, but other types of glue that might be more resistant to heat and better for wigs if I want to re-wash them. Thank you for pointing it out so I don't ruin my efforts again haha

Ooooohooooooo I’m so excited for the mushroom milestone video! “I’m tired of limiting myself to my insecurities” is both an awesome line and also something I seriously needed to hear today. Wigs are so intimidating and i think that these turned out really well!

    It's merobiba!
I've only washed my wigs with specific wig shampoo so I wouldn't know how to do it differently-
And the process with the shampoo for me was basically like washing hair so no wig soup :(
Although I hope your foot is better by now hot water isn't to be messed with (you exclaiming "We're making wig soup!" brought me a lot of joy still XD)
A little spoiler for my thoughts on your wigs but I really don't think you did a bad job on these (even if they didn't turn out the way you were hoping they would.
I'm very much excited to see your new cosplays especially Thrud (I don't know anything about her, she just looks cool).
As someone have suggested already I think getting more volume from just teasing might not be possible with the amount of hair with just one wig. It's been quite some time since I've last styled a wig and I've never done a *big wig* like that XD
To be fair styling wigs is very questionable compared to styling normal hair XD
Ohh and how I have not having a stable wig stand. I've tried using two sided tape to stick it to the table with can work okay if you're not pulling too much (with is a general problem with brushing) another idea would be using a clamp or two even to fixate it.
Sometimes you need to wear cool wizard clothes as a treat.
I sure hope the Great Wig Soup of 2024 will be mentioned in years to come XD
(I'm just again noticing how much I love your humour and how much I relate to it haha)
I do definitely understand not feeling able to cosplay certain characters but I agree we should all cosplay your dream characters!
Oh my I have vague memories of styling a Deku wig giving it intense curls with a flat iron. It worked really well at least as far as I can remember. I think for me it's the other way around I know how to style synthetic hair since it reacts in a very specific way but I just don't feel like real hair ever stays the way you style it XD
The cosplay closet is my favourite show now!
It is wild to me how you can just put on the wigs without a full cosplay (I always think it looks very face when I put on wigs without the rest of the cosplay but maybe that's just my mediocre make-up skills XD)
Io's curls look great on you and it's just a beautiful outfit altogether!
Pike really deserves that debut and I'm still looking forward to it.
Again I don't think Ferne looks that bad it's a more soft and elegant take on her hair I'd say.
Plus I think you can always tell if a wig is styled or not. Just making the hair look a bit more intention oftentimes helps a lot in my opinion!
I'm all over Lenore's hair it looks so soft and beautiful!
And I do think Thrud looks quite cute and definitely recognisable!
Also drawing one thousand mushroom?! Your poor wrist-
I'm very much looking forward to seeing the mushroom milestone video and you definitely deserve a nice growing and supportive community!
Thank you for taking us along the wig journey c:

I gotta be honest I had no idea they made wig-specific shampoo, that really just goes to show how new I am to this kind of thing myself haha but the wig soup was very fun!!
I definitely agree, I think in order to really get Thrud's accurate, I'm going to need another wig to go into it if I end up deciding I'm going to do the more volume route.
Clamps sound like a really efficient way to make a good wig stand in a pinch! That's a really clever idea!!
I'm also SO glad that people enjoyed the Closet Cosplay bit lol, my usual reveals are so dramatic, and I just thought to do something silly would be fun :))
Secrets for the outfit featured in Closet Cosplay is that it was the dress I wore to my first university banquet with my partner :)) Dressing up for reveal videos has been a super fun excuse to pull out ye old fancy dress I got for special occasions lol
Your positivity (and everyone else's!!) has really made me feel a lot better with how the wigs turned out, I was pretty disheartened that it wasn't immediately perfect haha, but I feel a lot more confident in what I need to do going forward with wigs, and also I don't feel as bad about how my current wigs look after having done all that! Having sat on the video for a while helped quite a bit!
Thank you for joining me on this journey :))
