I use the same Dadarrio packets in the winter. In the summer I run a dehumidifier and keep it at 45-50%. The Packets are great. Although they don't regulate if the humidity is high imo. But they do if it's low.

Joe, you’re a rock star--! Problem I have is if I put my guitar away in it’s case with the humidipaks…..I get lazy and don’t play as much- just one more excuse. So I use a Venta humidifier to keep the room at 35%+ humidity…fill it 1x/day- and keep my Music Emporiums out on a stand ready to play--Not ideal but, I play more!

My guitars are in a wood cabinet with a plastic tray filled with Heartfelt Humidity Beads. Just gotta be careful not to jostle / spill the tray.

I've tried about every humidifier product out there. For the past several years I've been using the Music Nomad Humitar and found it to be the easiest and most economical solution to humidify my guitars. I check them about once a week and refill with distilled water as necessary. BTW, If you value your guitars, never use an Oasis humidifier! They always leak when they fail! The product has one job to do and it fails miserably. The manufacturer says they are out of warranty when they fail! Imagine that!

Unfortunately if you get to the point he describes damage is already being done…..don’t wait, buy a room humidifier and use it….your respiratory passages will also thank you.
