I'm always amazed at how long it takes people to realize pushing the coins in by hand is far more efficient than making all that noise trying to life the device to let them slide in by gravity.
@@goofball3236 You might be onto something there. I don't have a change sorter and do not have time to roll them myself and really just wanted to try this machine out one time. Back in the day, I would just take them to one of my banks but now, one doesn't have a counter to use, and the other is almost always not working (at least that's what I was told the last time). 🤷♂
It all adds up, i save my change no matter what. People are like oh its only 1 cent, or whatever, but just like saving money it the small things that add up. When i find a penny im like 99 more and its a buck, thats the mentality i have. Money is money
@@LowKeyGT89Okay, because I seen a person down at my local Stop & Shop and they were getting ready to do it and I asked them. How much do you think you have in? They set about $25 if I recall. I said I'll give you the $25 for all of them and they did it, and there was a $500 penny in there. So I made out
I just looked through the available gift cards and didn't really see any that I would use, a couple maybe but very few. We live in BFE and of all the restaurants listed, Dominos is literally the only one within an hour of us!! I wonder why you can't get a Walmart Gift Card?? 🤷♂
So it cost 12 cents per dollar to use that machine
Right 🙄
Adds up
Never use coinstar!
Credit union machine no fees!
We did that works pretty good 👍🏾
thought of doing it at the bank? There’s no fees.
My bank's machine was broken when I did this. I agree, bank is the best bet. 👍👍

What if I do both
@@majortellandrus2552 then you do both

I collect foreign coins in the rejected coins slots of coin cashing machines.
Good job

Great job saving your coins

I sure wouldn't give away 12%!! That's crazy 🤣😧
Did you check these pennies to see? If any of them are worth more than a penny, please comment back. Yet let me know so many people do that.
Yes. I keep my pennies, dimes & nickels and quarters all separate and do usually take a quick look at them before tossing them into their containers.

A winner every time! I chose to get payment as store credit, so I didn't have any fee. I am satisfied; I got about $20 off my grocery purchase.
That's great, I might do that next time as well.
You should have chosen the gift card option no fees not very smart choosing cash
You're probably right but I got plenty of money so no biggie.! ✌

12cents on the $ mad mad
He should've checked for copper cents. They're worth 3 cents each or more.
Plus indian cents, wheats, 1rst year VDB wheat cents
He did check. Checked the pennies before placing them into the original container.
one more reason why crypto is the future
i am coins $100,00
I prefer the cash from the coin star
The coin star in my area charges you a screw fee... I wish banks around here in Pennsylvania had them
Some of our local banks have coin counters. My bank, the last time I checked advised that their counter was not working.
The next you have coins like that i will buy and pay ship.
Who gets pennies anymore?
