It's pretty awesome how you seem to understand the ins and outs of Mario kart, such as knowing when a shock might strike or when better items appear. How do you know all this?

You know, I always hated Lightning because it makes you drop your items but watching this video made me think about it some more and I realize it serves a few purposes.
1 - It prevents insane smuggling abuse that would make a 1st placeman untouchable
2 - It probably silently protects the 1st placeman from being absolutely overwhelmed with Blue Shells. Just think about how many times one of the many back spots got a Blue Shell and got shocked right out of it and nobody knew.
Immagine that in mario kart Wii even with star, blue shell and others u would still loose ur things😂😂luckilly not in mk8

One time in MK8 Deluxe I got a shock dodge by accidentally falling off the map so the person used the shock will I was getting pulled up.

i Think Smuggling only work because you can have 2 items at once. Mario kart 8 was made with the ulterior motive to own only one object. Now, of course, you can do all your tricks. Nintendo had to create added value and you are now the beneficiary of this action. It's a little bug usen for me. You of corse drive very well :)

I used this as a replacement of Troy Voice Clip. And i smuggled Star and Triple Red Shells then i use the Lightning to attack the rivals as i using Switch.

Have you noticed that when you fall in water and lakitu saves you you are wet but when you are playing a stage like
dolphin shoals or water park when you come out of water you are perfectly dry

It depends on your preferred character weight.
Terry the Tree i like to use mr scooty with the roller wheel and the cloud glider. easy to control, really good acceleration, and it just looks cute.
typically speedy combos have bad handling and acceleration.
combos with good handling and acceleration typically have bad speed.
good handling = tighter drifts and turns
good acceleration = better recoveries (grand prix, online)
good speed = outrunning potential (speedruns and time trials)
bigger characters are generally faster, whereas smaller characters have better acceleration and handling.
