No because it works fine and maintains a smaller footprint than other bulky add on holsters. Recently purchased a SW Model 69 Combat and it fits great. Very happy with its fit/function.

@mikemcgee6810 The extreme penetrators are a great choice as well. Great performance similar to a HP with no means to fail. Both should serve you well 👍🏻
10mm fits fine. Glock 29 is 👌🏻Subcompacts fit better than full size so just keep that in mind. A 5” gun would be less secure than a subcompact or even a compact
Everything is relative. Hopefully you have more than a 5 yard heads up. The gun isn’t the end all be all. You can’t let yourself get behind in the situation. It affords a reasonable amount of time to produce the firearm. But if you have a better solution, post it up. I’m down to learn👍🏻
I would expect to fit, just a little tighter than mine as I expect yours to be a little wider/heavier. Mine is a Taurus 441 K frame with a 4” barrel. I think ideally a 2 3/4” gun would fit best.

Bought the extreme penetrators and 200grain hard cast.

I would be way too worried about losing my gun. I just run the alien gear retention on molle on my pack waste strap.
It’s really solid. I’ve never had it try to come out. But if the alien gear works for you, great!

Just not much good if you have pack straps over everything and a brown bear charges from 5 yards. No way you can access it fast enough
