I really liked how the carven and flowmaster sound on idle better than the stright pipe.
The flowmaster won it for me.
Flowmaster sounded the best and the most aggressive
IMO all of them sound good butttt it the sounds they give really doesnt do the 392 justice. The best exhaust set up for these cars is full straught pipe mid muff, res, and cat delete. Im not saying straight pipe sounds good on every car but specifically for the 392's straght pipe sounds the best rather than just a mid muff delete.

I could have heard this wrong, but the Carven sounds the quietest inside, with the Flowmaster and straight pipes sounding very similar there, but the Carven sounds more like the straight pipe outside than the Flowmaster.

I like the flowmaster outlaws it had a deep growl to it but you can't be the straight pipe sound like it wanted to pop a little

@@imagegotbeats Back pressure is for people who believe fairy tales or know nothing about cars. There's a reason performance oriented cars have high flow exhausts....CUZ BACK PRESSURE DOESN'T MATTER.

@@kb3110 Mainly the tune. The oxygen sensors that help the car achieve the needed air/fuel ratio sometimes can't work properly with aftermarket high flow exhausts. All you'd need is a tune for most circumstances. There are cars out there that won't be affected except for an engine light though.
@@kb3110 you dont loose back pressure with the res and mid muff delete there is an x pipe from factory which helps with the back pressure

The Carvan and Flowmaster was close but the drive off made my decision. Flowmaster for me. The "straight pipe" set up is too raspy for my taste.

If anyone is looking for any recommendations for a mean yet extremely loud exhaust setup, do no cats no mufflers no res, with 3in pipes out to 5in tips!!! that shit sounds insane, i have it on my 5.7 n it 100% does not sound like a 5.7 anymore
Bo cats mean check engine, plus u have to tune it to make pop n bang and change the air ratio in the car.
Got that setup on a 06 and it's straight Nascar when it gets punched.

You look on the dash of the older cluster I don't even think that speedometer went with that scatpack. what scatpack Topps out at 160 on the dash??? I think they messed that up that look like an older RT setup
