Eugenia - Your brother's hair appears to be my and my son's exact hair type. So we understand what you mean about passing a brush through this hair type. His hair looks great and keep up the great work. Kudos to your brother for having the patience to sit. They are not like us ladies, we don't mind mainly because we know we will reap the benefits.
He’s always so sweet and and patient with me but in the end you see him complaining because I kinda poked him with the dropper for the oil lol :)

Y’all have some good hair, Idek what type my hair is because it doesn’t have any curl pattern and it never has. No it’s not heat damaged I NEVER put heat in my hair haha. It does some kinda something when it’s wet tho

I soak my aloe overnight because the latex breaks me out. But I blend the whole leaf lol. I don't have the patience to cut it up like that. It's no difference for me fortunately.

You only use the end if you don't get any reaction from it but if u do you should only use the gel of the plant (aloe Vera)
Some people are allergic to the Laxative at the bottom of the aloe Vera so they do not use it
Real question; what makes your hair or his hair type a 4c and not 4b or 4a?? Especially the coily that were naturally in tack with no product

Do you have any recommendations for scalp/hair growth oil I can use on my scall cuz all I have is JBCO and I use that for my hair strands not my scalp cuz I hear it's so thick for the scalp. Any recommendations?
Jojoba oil. To be fair I don't put oil or butters on my scalp anymore. My scalp is too sensitive now. I massage my scalp Daily and that works fine.
Grape seed oil, avacado oil, and olive oil are great. I recently started using grapeseed oil from my grocery store and i can see growth already in my hair. Your best bet would be to research which oils have what you are looking for to make your own hair growth oil.

How do you remove the poison from the aloe leaf?
Cut it and let it soak until the water turns a little yellow, then soak again , after that u can use.
