- The M4 is a performance sport Coupe from BMW. On the outside of the M4 Competition you will find the controversial front grills, unique wheels, and tons of carbon fiber. On the inside you will be greeted to a full leather interior. M Performance steering wheel and digital gauge display. Under the hood is a 3.0L twin-turbo inline-6 that produces 503HP and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2022 BMW M4 better performance convertible than an AMG C63?

Owned a 2015 m4 hardtop convertible- absolutely love that car. Hate the new grill and would much rather the look of the hard top. I understand the weight but they could've left one of the M class BMWs a hardtop to give us the option.

@@Asiansxsymbol guess it depends on luxury vs performance your looking for , personally think BMW has done an excellent job of combining both , only time will tell on reliability, but the engine has a good track record. Interiors are a good combination of usability and high tech, I prefer this over the Mercedes new line .

I really want to like this car. But the front is just not sitting well with me. It’s not the grill in and of itself. It’s the whole front end design. The rest of the car is gorgeous

Agree - that front fascia is horrendous. I went from a M2C and came back to Cadillac; manual CT4V B/W. The convertible variant is another gripe of mine … can’t get on board with performance cars being convertible; I’m in the camp that views it as blasphemous.

I felt the same way about the grill until I saw my M4 Comp in person it looked way better then in pictures.

I still hate the grille until this day I don’t think it will grow on me. The one thing that bmw can improve is the exhaust sound. It doesn’t have that grumble or the pops and bangs. The m3 and m4 lack in those areas. You have a car that costs more then 100k and you get a terrible exhaust note I expect a sexy sounding exhaust

Joe you know I into Fog Lights in any car, suv, cuv, sut and so on! The bad thing is most auto makers used LED in white or blue or yellow or orange, Joe have you ever take a break and tell your viewer which fog lights would be great for your auto since most of them do have a fake pocket or the way you say it fake vent? They would be AWESOME if you do that for people for us!
I enjoy warming the tires on my M550 on Patterson, but Raiti you take it to another level. :)

I really wish you guys would give us the rim width in addition to the wheel diameter, 20" X what ? Giving us the tire width without the aspect ratio is also half of the information. The wheel width is usually inside the door frame / threshold...

See. That's what happens when there's no similar car with a manual transmission to force BMW to give you the manual for. With the Subra, all the sudden they offer manual transmission. Hmm, funny how that works.
JOE ~ I WANT FIVE > M4 or AMG C63 ? . . . yes. I like the style design of the M4 more, but the AMG still uses V8 engines. for me it would come down to the feel of the car, driving it is worth a million words. one might fit all the parameters of what I dig, while the other fits your desires. needless to say - they are both superior cars compared to a Hyundai Elantra lol, great stuff, I could feel that sweaty heat - that's how impactful this report is. thanks Lori, thanks Joe, thanks parking lot. tony
I usually don't like convertibles but this one looks stunning. I do liked the brown/tan interior , but the two tones didn't match together. However, the is is great performance car with some practicality

There’s some aftermarket carbon grills inserts that look pretty good particularly the one that’s more open with the carbon “bumper”

M3/M4 f8x ,M5/M6 f10/13 are the last BMW's that got the BMW charm and feeling and the f90 as well , those M3/4 G's i think they could look better but with some specific mods and colors .

@@RaitisRides - To buy a new 911 now costs over $100k especially with the crazy dealer markups. Tallahassee dealer has $30k “market adjustment”! So it’s just a fantasy now. A base Cayman costs about $80k.(with a turbo 4 and anemic exhaust note). Conclusion: your GT 350 is looking like a bargain in comparison!

No argument that BMW's are amazing machines....but they become money pits after a few years. Which isn't a problem if you are wealthy enough to afford one.
