@Jordan Ryos Ben Shapiro looks good in debate clips because most of them are of him debating college students who have no clue what they're talking about.
I saw her response video. She makes a good argument for herself, except I would never go hands on and try to physically block him (unless I saw someone about to harm another, then I will step in and try to help usually) She did. I think she's a little toasted and she meant to follow the rules by challenging someone trying to enter without a key fob. We don't see the video he shot before, so it's possible he was out of line too and he just edited that part out to save face. I think she realized he was telling the truth about half way through the encounter and was trying to do damage control but making it worse. She comes across like a lonely woman reaching out for the first warm body that came by. This is made even moire plausible when she revealed she was previously married to a black man. So I'm calling it a strict approach to the numerous letters from the office urging her to do just what she did; challenge anyone she doesn't know trying to get in. Coupled with some wine perhaps. It sounds like a wine buzz. Coupled with maybe she was attracted and hoped he did live there so they could meet.
@@1977linda1977 : You edited your reply apparently because you removed the BS about him buzzing himself in. He did not. He was tailgating (trying to get in by someone else's access) She was doing as she was repeatedly instructed.
KD Wells, at the :50 mark of this video, he mentions he buzzed himself in. The newscaster also mentions that a FOB was shown (in other videos, you can hear him jingling his keys/FOB in the air and her ignoring seeing it). In reality (from what I gather from other videos), he buzzed himself in out of habit but the door was already ajar (because she had it open for her dog) so he then proceeded to enter. She ignored him fob'ing the door. She ignored him showing his keys/fob. And in the elevator ride up to his apartment, she kept asking for the name of the friend he was visiting even though he repeatedly told her he lived there and wasn't visiting someone. She was just set in her belief that he didn't belong there and nothing he could say or do (buzzing himself in before entering, showing his fob to her, unlocking his apartment with his key) could get her to stop. Her behavior was inexcusably out of line but she's too dumb and arrogant to admit it and apologize for it.
Alexandria Geiler He pretty much had to, other wise it would be a black man acting aggressively towards a white woman. If he had lost his cool he probably would have gone to jail.
I did some digging for more info, and apparently her employer saw the video (it went viral, so how could they not in this day and age) and as they - the employer - is a minority owned real estate agent, they apparently terminated her employment.

You people are so fast to judge. Following them to their appartment is what you do when you meet someone who doesn't look like a resident and want to be sure it's not an intruder roaming around freely in your building. (I shall say that blocking the way is just weird and maybe a misuse of female "untouchableness", but I guess it's something you do when you feel protective about something.) Possibly, black people are underrepresented in this luxury appartment, hence her suspicion. Just like many police officers, her suspicion is based on her statistical experience. Bias/judgement on human appearance based on statistical experience is very problematic and should not be tolerated, but it's also very human and every human does it intuitively. Humans are flawed in countless ways and so is everyone reading this. This woman should be required to show a readiness to learn and should face consequences if she doesn't, but just from the video that we have seen, it's odd how many people demonize her.
It starts with him, a stranger to her, wanting to enter a locked building. She is in the door and asks him to use or show his key, since she doesnt know him. If he used 1 sec on this, that would have been all. Easy peasy. Instead he chooses to refuse, lie and push himself. He knows or should know that she is following house rules. We have the same practice where i live. U need to use or show your key, cause we dont let strangers into the building. Keeping it safe where we live. And race is no concern, we see individuals.
Erik Hasselberg at the same time don’t confuse what your building does with other buildings. It would be a different story if he was a member of that community that had that rule and he didn’t want to do so but seeing as this story and facts presents don’t have that as the case then he was not obligated to tell this lady any information. Everybody in this nation has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and he has the right to privacy about where he lives and who he gives information to. This lady was not the owner of the complex and did not handle the situation correctly and now is highly embarrassed by it. I’m not hating on you and the system you use but don’t assume just because you have a system that works for you means that it applies everywhere and someone should just let their right to privacy be violated.
@@earthman7088 I dont think its wrong, asking the man to use his key. The house rules states, also in this building, that u r not supposed to let strangers in. I think thats why she asks him. As written, he could have just taken 1 sec using his key. Whats wrong with that? I dont get it.
@@erikhasselberg244 she’s not security. She also said she was scared for her well being well gettin the elevator with him alone. @listerone He said he used a fob to enter the building. She had no right to question him. Or maybe ask him one question "hi, are you visiting someone or live here?" So many better ways she could have gone.
The weirdest bit about this that I can't fathom is how respectable well kept and nice this guy looks and she still questioned him. Her only justification is his skin colour and that is so saddening.
but here's an interesting thing to think- do you think she would have reacted like that if it was a black female? I would argue that this was actually a better example of sexism than it is racism
I can't fathom how many times this may have occurred BEFORE cell phones were available to capture these instances. Every week it's another one. It's really sad.
D'Arreion Nuriyah Toles was in the wrong. He tried to go into the building when she was holding the door open for her dog. It's NOT OK just to walk into the building when another resident opens the door. She was just doing what the condo board instructed tenants to do. They sent out an email saying " NEVER ALLOW SOMEONE TO ENTER WHEN YOU ENTER OR EXIT " You shouldn't put people in a position of them being responsible for you gaining access to the building. He could have just waited ONE SECOND and entered the building with his own key. Etiquette and safety dictate that you use your own key to gain access to the building, otherwise, any stranger can just use a resident to gain access to a building. It is shameful that D'Arreion Nuriyah Toles turned this into a racial incident and getting a woman fired who was just trying to keep a stranger from gaining access to the building without using a key. If you watch the video, she says "use the keypad." WHY couldn't he do that? On top of trying to use her to gain access, he refused to say what unit he lived in! It is sad that so many people are condoning Tole's actions and condemning this woman. She didn't deserve to be fired.
This happens in some form or fashion, everyday Somewhere USA! If he were a white guy, she would never have questioned him, but because he was not she decided to be law enforcement. If someone was entering behind me, I would not expect then to allow it to close then open it. So if you live in a gated community, you should block the entry until the gate closes and let your neighbor open it with their remote? No, it’s courtesy. That courtesy must be extended to all or your biases will dictate how you respond.
I know then she said, "you did not" and then he said, "IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER"!! But it DOES MATTER. Him saying "it doesn't even matter" if he used his key is wrong and certainly was a signal to her that he didn't have a key to access. All he had to do is WAIT ONE SECOND and open the door himself WITH HIS OWN KEY, not use her opening the door to gain access!
Listen, I have waited for a woman to enter my building with her key and let the door close and lock and THEN I opened it with my own key. Why? Because you don't do something like walking in behind a woman entering a building like that! This guy had no manners. He asked her for her unit number and she gave it to him! BUT then he STILL refused to say his! All he had to do is WAIT ONE SECOND and open the door himself WITH HIS OWN KEY, not use her opening the door to gain access!
You're all racists because you see the world through a racial lens. A non-racist person does not see race nor recognize so-called race. If you do indeed recognize race then the real question is WHO are you racist against and WHO are you racist in favor of? Racism will continue to exist in one form or another for as long as people identify people by race. That's right, merely recognizing race makes you a racist. In this example, CBS is racist by labeling the man as "black man" and the woman as "white woman" instead of identifying them as "man" and "woman". The real truth is, neither one of them are black and neither one of them are white. CBS is guilty of causing division and promoting racism - something all liberal and Democrat leaders are guilty of.
@@sunwun6167 Yes your main point of their not being racist and CBS identifying as "black" and "white is wrong, however it doesn't help anyone to come swinging with "you're all racists" lol.

I've gone to visit people and had residents of the building open the door for me to get in. Nobody asked if I lived there or asked me anything at all. If I were a black man, nobody'd be opening that door for me.
Also the idea of telling a total stranger what apartment I live at every time they ask me sounds incredibly dangerous. I know she most likely wouldn't do anything dangerous or illegal to him in his own home, but he doesn't know that in the moment.

Possibly, black people are underrepresented in this luxury appartment, hence her suspicion. Just like many police officers, her suspicion is based on her statistical experience.

The weirdest bit about this that I can't fathom is how respectable well kept and nice this guy looks and she still questioned him. Her only justification is his skin colour and that is so saddening.
Because he'd be dead if he didn't remain respectable. Either from a cop or 'concerned/threatened citizen'

They sent out an email saying " NEVER ALLOW SOMEONE TO ENTER WHEN YOU ENTER OR EXIT "
You shouldn't put people in a position of them being responsible for you gaining access to the building.
@@RepresentativePress , you got it wrong, go back and watch the video, Mr. Toles had already buzzed in. Thank you.
I know then she said, "you did not" and then he said, "IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER"!! But it DOES MATTER.

Dad didnt see his daughter for close to 3 years because a journalist hid behind journalistic integrity. Journalists are scumbags most of the time
The rules of conduct for journalism requires you to ask everyone involved for their comment.
He doesn't even look threatening
Fr, this guy was so calm😂
Karen “you walked up from the street”, how else was he supposed to get the building? Parachute in?
Good one 👍
🤣🤣
Not the smartest cookie is she.
"Walking while black" is a crime in the Karen book of law.
Nah he has to drive into the building and park at the reception desk

DJ DA VINCI Yeah, how else would the world see just how "great" African Americans are.
What about white people....everyone just treats us like royalty? Ha.
She felt so threatened that she followed him everywhere
_Logic 101_
Hahahaha
You are a real gentleman, a real American who respects even a person who behaved awfully, awfully, awfully! We all need to learn such respect. Self-control and management in such a situation! God bless you, God bless her (to learn from this and respect people), and God bless America ❤️
Having self control doesn't mean he respects her. He wants nothing to do with her and avoids her at all costs. This isn't a 90s sitcom where everything's all good and their sipping coffee at their fav diner. He avoided being physically violent and didn't even raise his voice. Because her action and reaction is what will show who she is. Him being angry would give "justification" to why she feels the need to do that. EVEN if she approached him first. He wanted to get home and have no issue or escalate it with her. Some people would rather get revenge on their neighbors but that never turns out right for either party.
lmaoo she said "sir you walked up on a street" as if every one of her neighbors don't walk up the street to get inside
Not sure how you enter your home, but when I do, I wingsuit in through my window from an Apache attack chopper.
No mam I do fly i dont walk
And this shall occur all times a person without main entrance key tries to sneak into a condo when someone is exiting. How cant you people get it!?!?! He refused to identify himself, he cannot come in until he justifies why is he a resident without main entrance key when all residents have one! He cant refuse and play the racism victim card. I really hope you all don´t allow strangers into your condos like that, otherwise what is the point of having a fence and main entrance closed?!?!?!
@@FilK79 The woman didn't identify herself either. She just stood there claiming that she would live there. Could have been a criminal who wanted to take advantage of this guy.
@@Smeik2901 you do understand the diffderence between someone coming from inside, and a person waiting outside wanting to force himself in, do you? And its funny the video uses the word "blocking" when in fact, we miss the half minute before he started finming which would have showed him stepping to the door when she opened it, wanted to force himself in, and blocked the door so she couldn´t close it back if she wanted.

Fancy seeing you here again
Binging with Babish?
Why would he expect to come in without her knowing if he is a resident? A lot of people are like her and wouldn’t let anyone they don’t know in. He could have buzzed in or showed the fob. This is bait and switch.

Oh really?

Yes, I am very proud of how he acted and handled the situation, and I also agree with what he said about, having is camera out and ready, and catching everything that went on, because like he said, if he did not have the camera, it could of went a different way, and not good for him, and that is said that we live in this day and age, that what she did was not only wrong but I feel very rude and disrespectful,
bigger person *
flowered He is indeed a man, there is no need to correct this comment, though you are technically correct. Now if it was a woman, then I could understand you making this differentiation
I'm so glad she was fired.
Where does it say she was fired?
She's blocking him and says " I'm uncomfortable" white privilege .Smh
Along with a dash of Karen, a spice of hypocrisy, a cup of being an embarrassment to all of humanity, and very likely served as dish of shaming against someone that most likely wants to see her burnt to dust.
Did laugh at that.
Surprised she didn’t ask him to apologise for her being uncomfortable.
@@Ali74 Lmao I know right..She was probably thinking "why do i have to deal with this geesh" !!!!
Do not say white sir because if she feel uncomfortable it mean he looks strange to her never see him in building , put your self in her place you have to follow the policy . Or if something happen in some tenants, they will accusing her do not doing her job , see at this time where we are we have to cooperate to prevent bad things happen
I would to say also for black people to stop thinking all the time about colors (black and white )they are the one pulling back themself to racismes god creat white, black, yellow, there is no diffrences , the only diffrence is education , civic education what you can bring to the society the gods things
She's "uncomfortable" with him being there and she gets into an elevator with him? Knowing full well that's it's such a tight space and all. What if he were really a dangerous person?
That's exactly what I was thinking! What woman in her right mind gets into an elevator alone with a man who supposedly makes her so uncomfortable? She is a truly ignorant creature.
She just a liar. She wants to live in a building with only white people and she’s angry he could afford to live there. So she makes up the “I’m uncomfortable” excuse so we’ll all fall all over ourselves for her comfort. But he handled it perfectly, imo. She can go on feeling uncomfortable but she cannot block access to a building where he pays rent with his hard earned money. Reality check for the vapid witch.
TheLotusFlower, very ignorant indeed. She must have mental issues.
the setup failed... she lost.
Senam Lawson I honestly think she wanted some 🍆🍆 cause she started being somewhat indirectly friendly after the elevator
LMAO
“Don’t go after her, let her be at peace…”
“We buzzed her apartment and called every number listed”
I know right? Still, still, disrespecting the man's wishes
I think he meant for us not to go after her
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😂😂😂😂😂😂
no accepting racism is not right, i have been through that to, they do need to go after otherwise she will keep doing that crap
For those who say he just should have complied, WHY???? This must be your mindset,,,show me your papers!!!!
This could have turned out all sorts of ugly. What if he wasn't who he actually was. Oh,,,this self sense of entitlement is a dangerous mind. Not everyone is going to handle this type of disrespect and invasion of privacy with this much restraint.
That man is the definition of the word RESPECT.
PREACH PREACHH!!!!!
*Fun Fact: If she really was suspicious that he was a criminal or a bad guy, she would never ever even think of confronting him, let alone disturb him.*
Precisely. If he was a bad guy, she'd be KTFO.
Exactly!!
Kind of sexist don't you think. You'll be surprised about the courage of a woman.
@@DamnitMan88 There is a fine line between courage and stupidity. Far too many people cross it without realizing it, usually with less than optimal results.
