- Today while the girls are busy I take the GoPro and do a walking tour of the cute little village of San Marcos La Laguna on Lago de Atitlan in Guatemala. What a cute little town. We had a lot of fun here, but have to leave today to head to the ancient Mayan capital of Tecpan.

Very cool area. Worth a trip for sure.
The guatemalan hot dogs are called shukos. The most famous of all, are Los Shukos del Liceo in zone 4 Guate city. You got to try Transmetro Shuko, that thing is massive, will feed the 3 of yall, youll get all the veggies.
I really wish that they made veggie versions.
This is beautiful, I just found out Ramon's prima hermana lives in San Marcos La Laguna. But I don't like cold, lol.

It's great. We loved it. It's somewhat remote. Very few services in that city. More costly than Nicaragua. All but impossible to get a taxi / Uber. No nightlife. It's very central to the country which is great. Easy drive to Atitlan or Antigua / Guate. Extremely few tourists which is nice.
Any crime you are aware of in Tecpan? Considering a move there as a large family with multiple young children
