Very Powerful remix. Agressive, and dark Industrial vibes, exactly as SoR3 did. I need this for remake, seriously.
Incorporating Shiva's theme from SOR2 was brilliant! Also liked his voice in the background :)
Thanks for your comments :) Be sure to check out my SoR fan album iceferno.bandcamp.com/album/streets-of-wrath Plus I'm almost finished making the next one.
Couldn't agree more. Iceferno is on a rampage with this one
This classic sound , is very well made
This is my favorite track of all the SoR games and I'm really picky about remixes. You're AWESOME!
In the whole series? That's impressive. Mine's probably either Violent Breathing or The Last Soul. Dub Slash is my SoR3 favourite, but I also love The Poets I. Glad you enjoyed. :)
Ah, SOR1 tracks :) _Dilapidated Town_ will always do it for me there. The marriage of police sirens and music, and how it moves up and down the scale in staccato.. Brings a smile to my face!
As far as SOR3 goes this, The Poets I, Moon and Shinobi Reverse are my personal favourites.
My fav too. It still impresses me how this song made the Mega Drive sound. Also, it reminds me to Prodigy a bit.
Awesome remix, Iceferno.
Takes guts to tackle the tracks from SOR3. This one is a definite winner that doesn't try to smooth out the hard edged vibe. Love it.
I agree! SoR3 has a VERY distinct sound that, while not everybody likes, is certainly worthy of praise! There's a few duds I don't enjoy at all, like Tunnelway. It's too short and ear grating.
Most of the soundtrack is amazing in my eyes! Tracks like Spinning Machine, Fuze, Dub Slash, Random Cross, Cycle II and ESPECIALLY Bulldozer are incredible and memorable!
I will concede that it's different from the first 2 games, but it's solid stuff and has a lot of quality if you stick with it! Beat Ambience used to not be that enjoyable to me, but once in the main part of the song, I liked it! Problem is, the track resets each screen transition, which hurts the song in my opinion.
@TheRogueMaverick Hey! What about Poets I? :(
I was not expecting Shiva to invade this already awesome track. Streets of Rage 2 and 3 skillfully blended into one!
Fanlove for SOR will never die! Keep stoking those flames, Inferno! Liking this!
This track should be in the new Streets of Rage 4!!!
This track is so nasty&grating, i like it! It sounds like it belongs in an R rated neo-noir sci-fi movie. This is what Robocop reboot lacked. More of that Grit and ultra violence but with less 80's cheese and more 90's grimness.
Finally someone captured the way I feel when I'm clocking in on the job, just awesome, dynamic....... POWERFUL💥. 😎
This coming from the most powerful telepath on the planet. 😁👍🏾
Btw, you need to fit your wheelchair with rocket launchers and retractable trays of grilled chicken.
dub slash mixed with max man!? gawd damn, this is dope!
And a sprinkle of Jungle Base. :) Thanks! Very happy with how this came out.
How many times y'all save or knock out the kangaroo?(lolve-i mean love this level i be beating it up for the fun because it gets in my way lol.
Ok after listening to the original version for so many years this is actually a really clean remix, Good stuff.
Nice and gritty! Liked how it effortlessly blended into Max Man.
BY FAR THE BEST SOR REMIX I EVER HEARD!!!! APRIL 2019. Def go well in a movie scene like Mad Max.
Fury Road might be what I end up naming the Streets Of Wrath 3 version. haha
@@Iceferno perfect! 👍
SoR/BK 3 sound track is so menacing. You can really sense that you're life is in danger w some of these
Definitely. That's what gives SOR3 its character. A more serious tone in story, darker themes for the soundtrack.
This track has always been amazing, thanks for making it better nice addition with max man and jungle base at first I didn't know where you put jungle base in(it still sounded like max man)but then I had another listen and now I know where jungle base is it's even better!
Dude you are the only person to remix this song and still make it sound absolutely GNARLY and hectic like the original. THANK YOU! And excellent job!!!
Thanks bro! It's one of my favourites from the game and I wasn't impressed with the remix in Remake, so tried my best to make a true HD version. Very happy with this and it's one of my personal favourite tracks of last year.
@@Iceferno Dude you definitely succeeded, fantastic work man. You definitely have me as a subscriber! :) Looking forward to more work from you!
Absolutely insane!
the original was one of my fave compositions of the 3. and should've been in the SORR soundtrack. the remix provided was fair tame to this version. the switchup to the SOR 2 tracks inbetween work too.
*[ADDED TO MY FAVORITE LIST]*
Original is amazing and u made it even better, 10/10
Bad ass remix. Love it.
This hits so hard I have a bloody lip
Very good work. Perfect. I would like to know more about music to define it better... But I loved the selection of Sounds and the interpretations. Incredible!!! All the best.
This remix so very nice for this backsound good job iceferno👍
Man i love this intense remix Will we have more intense remixes like this?
I've attempted The Poets I. It's a style I'd like to cover more.
Beautiful frfr
Beautiful might be the wrong word, but I appreciate the compliment. lol
Wait, I didn't know Iceferno was still remixing SoR music! :00!!
I ain't done yet!
Iceferno Pro I found your channel from SoR remixes and holy heck you made such amazing covers that you definitely deserve more subs! I'm really excited to hear more of the third. ^~^ (Still has yet to beat it due to it being even harder on normal than last two games, even with time rewinds)
Thanks a lot. :) Yeah, SoR3 is very underrated imo. Doesn't deserve the hate it gets. I'm lucky in that I managed to score a repro cart of Bare Knuckle III for PAL systems. Even on Very Hard, BK3 is so much easier than SOR3 on Normal (in which I've game over'd at the final boss).
Iceferno Pro, you're right because they purposefully made SoR 3's normal more challenging than BKIII's hard difficulty! But although the music is a lot less energetic, and the story was kinda random (due to censorship) it was very underrated, especially with how the combat evolved too.
Yeah it's weird how much they censored the game. SoR2 was censored too, but not nearly to the same extent. I'm curious to know, is the music slower on the original SoR3 PAL cart? Because it's kind of weird that certain games post-1993 did that. I seem to recall Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles being about the same regardless of region.
Epicness overdrive
SICK!
Yooo we are going back in time lol brother kicking the shit outta every 1
Much better than original.Great job!!
wow this is really good. didnt think a remix would sound better than the OG.
Bad ass!!!!!
I would pay for this to be downloaded as dlc for Sor4
This is amazing! The instruments you used sound slightly similar to a lot of the synth sounds on a Yamaha MO6 keyboard. What’d you use to remake this song?
Most of those big distorted leads were a combination of about 3 or 4 things on the Hypersonic VST. My main goal was to make a faithful HD version of the original. I was very disappointed by the pseudo-guitar sounds in SOR Remake's version. They just sounded lame to me, and such a track needs to have that impact and punch (no pun intended) to it.
Wow 😯 yes I can definitely hear the stacked synth sounds, it totally makes a difference! I’ve never used hypersonic vst, but I think I will definitely consider it after hearing this! The clarity is also amazing!
Thanks. :) I just remembered, I also used a bit of Sylenth1, as you can distort leads to get similarly matching sounds.
I love that you give the 3rd entry in the series the same respect & love as the other games. The music goes in way hard & it's a real Bovril kind of OST but, my God, nothing I've heard in games before or since has really ever come close to it. This is why we're still coming back to this series even after all these years. Amazing job!!
Btw, what does the guy at 2:44 say? I always wondered wth it was as a kid & still can't figure it out. Sounds like "Fi-Now-Grass"!!
Thanks a lot man. I want to do more SOR3, especially in a couple of years when the 30th anniversary hits. I honestly love the majority of the OST, except for a few tracks I'm not as keen on. And that was Shiva saying "Final Crash!" That's actually the SOR2 clip since the SOR3 one sounds so muddy and robotic. It's a shame the sound design took a bit of a hit in that game, but it does a few well like the sword swing and the alarm.
@@Iceferno Interesting! Those are the sorts of details the average Joe would miss. It gives a whole new level of appreciation & meaning for what goes into making these tracks!!
Damn love the background soundfx sounds like a bond game or a dark tactical mission time based game. Or just a real addrennalin rush shooter.
So fucking good
2:24 this should have been in streets of rage 3
awesome job done
This is a siiiick remix
A true masterpiece. Keep it up, dude!
Nice one mate
you should do streets of rage 3 remixes like the boss theme or inga rasen or fuse or cycle, this is great mix you done
Yeah, I'm hoping to do the Boss theme, Fuze, Cycle I, The Poets II, Moon, Cycle II, and The Poets I. I might be able to do Inga Rasen aswell.
To say why they made it when you beat the game on easy and it say THE END? Like why they didn't continue it like how 1&2 went?
In this level and shit how many times y'all let that kangaroo go or knock it's ass out? Or y'all ever play with ROO?(LOL!🤣) Just wondering! And i know he don't pick up weapons that's why i don't use him much either!
Hey when's streets of rage 4 coming out?🤔 And do stage 4 while your at it and the last level remix and shit please!?🤔 And this is BADASS!😎😎😎😎
All they're saying is 2020 at the moment. Happy Paradise? There's not a whole lot I can do with that one, but I have a basic idea for something. And yeah, The Poets I is a favourite of mine, so will eventually get to that. Thanks. :)
@@Iceferno so it's still in the making of huh? The only characters we saw in the trailer was Axel and Blaze so will wait! And thanks too! Keep up the good work!😎
There was an updated trailer revealing Cherry, Adam's daughter. There's one character left to announce, which I think could be a new take on a cyborg character similar to Zan.
Axel is a beast!!! :D
H o t r e t a r d e d c h i X Hated how they slowed him down as the bruiser though in SOR 3.
They had to since Adam and Max were missing. Though the Adam's Story mod nicely tied both SOR3 perspectives together.
please make a remixes for shinobi 3 return of ninja master
Maybe I will. But I will do it in my own time. These remixes aren't easy to make.
ok.. any way ..thanks for the remixes
Surprised no one mentioned what's with the subway level ? where is that from ? That's not a level from the original trilogy
It's one of the alternate routes hidden away in Remake V5.
The stage at 2:25 , is that from a mod or a remake or...?
Remake V5.
Where can I download or purchase this peace???
You can't directly, but people often buy a track from iceferno.bandcamp.com and request a remix in a message afterwards.
@@Iceferno Yeah, I already went through all of them, that's why I was asking for this specific track.
I would also enjoy more of similar approaches from SoR3 rather then new/different interpretations.
Please release this version for download. And good job 👏
@@Iceferno still NEED this track 😀
@@TheRedSign I've already explained how you can get it. I can't release it for sale without some form of licensing.
@Iceferno Pro I'm not sure how this works.
So, do you want me to buy a different track from the link above in order to make a request for the actual track I want to buy???
Trying way, way too many things at once. The actual "Dub Slash" song isn't bad, but after that it spirals into this really bizarre mash-up of various things that completely breaks the flow. Take out that unnecessary two minutes or so and just leave Dub Slash as is.
But I don't know, this is one of those tracks that is better when approached with simplicity. It's such a strong track in its original incarnation that most of the work is done for you, just build on that and up the intensity.
You're in the minority here. A lot of people appreciate my other track inclusions. Dub Slash doesn't have enough going on, on its own imo. I didn't want to just reconstruct it verbatim, so I put Max Man between the two times Dub Slash plays.
first 2 tracks good the resst of sor3 tracks are bad to average unfortunately
Wrong.
@Buffalo Babyblue Most of the sor3 tracks are really good actually Inga Rasen, poets, happy paradise, dub slash etc
streets of rage 3 sucks and so does the music.
Nah, it's underrated and misunderstood.
