      I got 60 miles on my first charge. PAS 2 on mostly flat ground with extremely minimal throttle/higher PAS. I'm 6'3" 225#. I would expect 40-60 miles per charge depending on terrain and assist/throttle level assuming you are actually going to provide your own pedaling as well.

    I’m digging mine so far. How the motor sounds loudness when rotating at times I’m not sure, but no performance issues. A rattle in the front over bumps, might be the shocks. Still love it

    • @WanderingAroundAZ
      @WanderingAroundAZ 2 года назад +1

      Yes, very noisy! I think some of it is the battery vibrating/clunking in the frame. I put about 3 layers of clear packing tape on the top and bottom of my battery. That seems to have minimized the clunking. Still have a weird vibration from the front that I can't pinpoint. And the motor gets clanky under load.

    • @pglazzari1
      @pglazzari1 2 года назад +1

      @@WanderingAroundAZ thanks for replying. Yes the front end when I go over certain bumps it makes a certain sound. I've adjusted the damper, locked the shocks and still can't figure out what the sound is. The battery I have heard any noise, more of the strain on the motor when slowing down and speeding up. Do you know what kinda of batteries Lectric uses? I'm hoping Samsung or Lg that have longer life to them.

    • @EbikeEscape
      @EbikeEscape  2 года назад

      We recommend using the questions about fit as a time to “test” that companies customer service. See how their customer service is generally and if you like the answers they give.
      Lectric has one of the more accessible customer services we have found.
      It is tough for us to do that for every ebike. Especially because every rider prefers a different fit and feel.

    I sure wish I had the bigger battery today as I went for a 20 mile ride in Moab quite a bit of it on jeep trails. Coming out it used the battery up pretty quick and I walked up hills and rode some for 7 miles. I’m worn out and disappointed they put a 9.6ah battery when the previous model had a 10.8ah 😡. Most battery's service life is based upon charge cycles. Lectric's batteries are rated for 800 cycles. So 3-5 years is a reasonable life expectancy. Also note that length of service is until you begin to notice degradation, not until the battery will completely die on you. -JT

    I'm an original Xp fat tire owner. The biggest problem with all Lectric bike is the CHEAP CHARGER that will ruin your battery in no time if you leave it plugged in overnight or longer. It overcharged my battery to a dangerous level where it was about 180° and could have started a fire in my house. So, 500 miles on the bike and they are selling a $500 battery that will be ruined by a CHEAP CHARGER. Just got mime today. What voltage should I be charging the long range battery 2?

    • @EbikeEscape
      @EbikeEscape  2 года назад

      The voltage amount is the same as the 10ah battery. Which is around 75% so around 50v.

    This bike looked good until the battery key. I won't buy a bike with a battery key that has to stay in that is on the bottom of the bike. To many ways that the key could get broken easier on the bottom of the frame.

      It's a change I think they will eventually make.

      Maybe true, however I wouldn't trust the customer service. So I skipped them.... Chinese clone bikes

    Their bikes are garbage. My XP 2.0 died within 6 months. The warranty is a joke I've called and sent multiple emails to Lectric. They have done absolutely nothing to remedy the situation.

    But the ebike n batteries all come from China..electric are only a company that ships in ebikes just like super 73..n most other ebike company..there not manufacturer are they..so when you say only buy from them..who are they buying them from be honest in your videos

    • @EbikeEscape
      @EbikeEscape  2 года назад

      You are correct. A large number of electric ebikes and their batteries come from China. Lectric is no different. However, you have to agree there is a bit of an unknown with purchasing anything from China directly (I.E. Battery cell quality, assembly quality, QA checking, etc....). So what I referenced in this video was that by having a battery purchased from Lectric you can at least have a bit more comfort in knowing it is from a trusted source and that Lectric will stand behind it.
      Now with all of that said, can you find the battery cheaper from China? Absolutely. But you have to agree, there is a bit more "risk" you undertake by doing so.

    I made the mistake of buying the bike the day before they released the new long range battery . Offered me 100 off the 500 dollar price but would of made my purchase cost 1399 . I asked if I could ship the battery back instead or if I had to return the whole bike . No response , don’t trust these guys . Lectric customer service is a joke

      This is bull crap. I had a white step through on order that hadn't shipped yet. The day the long range was announced, I called Lectric customer service and was able to cancel the order for the regular range step through and place a new order for the long range step through. Have had nothing but great customer service with Lectric.

      I ordered two bikes and they got the promotion in for the lock mirror and headlight, I asked if they can honor it and they did.
