i havent watched the video yet, but i wanted to leave a comment based on the title. if i can get an s4 for $500, i am definitely doing all i can to rescue it. a normal b7 with everything the model has as comfort extras costs at least $5000

Realistically if you're hopeing for a reliable daily i hope you have $10k minimum to start rebuilding the motor.. NOT THE CAR TO SKIMP OUT ON PARTS OR BEING CHEAP
Oh yea I’d never daily a B7 S4 hahah lucky for me I have a couple other cars so this just going to be a work on it here and there project and drive on the weekends kinda car for me.
jeez, for $500, it was almost free...I'd say that's a good platform to start a build from...and it was almost free

The B6/7 S4 in manual does not have many issues. Other than the chain guides, they are pretty sound.
I hope mine is lol. I’ve heard mixed opinions on these 🙏

@@importpro1334 It is rarer and believe me less maintenance than tha auto.
@@PuroPR1 oh yea I definitely wouldn’t even consider keeping if it was auto. Audi automatics are horrible at least in the older cars.
After 212,000 I’m in the process of rebuilding my auto B7 S4. I’m also getting rid of the automatic, and I’m manual swapping it as well.
