After losing my wife to dementia in February, watching you and Shaun has turned my depression into delight. Keep on loving each other and bringing joy to us all. Phillip
I used to stay at my Aunt's and uncles on Overdale Road, New Mills at the weekends and school holidays. I used to wake up to the smell of the Swizzels factory back in the 1970's, every kids dream, like you said. But at the bottom of Overdale Road, New Mills, is the canal. I used to while away the hours watching boats, barges and other craft pass by. Doing the odd drawing and doodles. My uncles worked for British Rail and used to take me with him to a signal box he worked in, it was next to a level crossing not to gar from his house. I also used to stay there when it coincided with steam trains going by. My first ever time seeing a steam train was, "Leander 5690" Thanks for bringing those great childhood memories and times flooding back to me 👍😎👍
Foxes you have excelled yourself with this vlog. Your drone shots, general filming of the beautiful scenery and interesting commentary and your music choice, absolutely fabulous. Your vlogs are always good but this one was really great. Thanks

No need to apologize for misty! I thought this was absolutely stunning. You never fail to catch such beautiful aerial and land shots. Every time you guys burst into your laughter, I do also, even when I have no idea what I am laughing at. The laughter between you two is simple contagious. I’m new here. God Morning Guys, A truly STUNNING edition of your vblog. The aerial views were fantastic, especially liked the steam train going across the viaduct early on. A bit of a train lover myself. Even in the mist the views were great. Thanks for a great start to my Friday in San Francisco.

Thank you so much for sharing all these vLogs. It really makes Friday fun!
Our pleasure, Bill 👍🏻
Friday coffee with the Silver Fox crew - always a treat, but this one was simply spectacular. Dillon cameos, misty mornings and candy rushes topped it all off. Thanks for your outstanding work and celebrations of life.
Our pleasure, William. Have a fantastic weekend! 👋🏻
I’m soooo impressed with GB.! After your videos I always go to Google Earth and get to street level to have a look around. If we were independently wealthy I think my husband and I would kiss America goodbye and .....return to our ancient mother land. ❤️ to you both!
Wow! Thanks, Kathleen 💜👍🏻
Top vlog, featuring top dog.
Everybody loves Dillon 👍🏻😍
new subscriber here - thank you for the scenery shots, they are beautiful, also appreciate your love of trains, as you almost always have one shot (train lover myself) your videos are keeping me occupied as i am going back and watching a lot of videos. appreciate the history lessons. enjoy the out-takes at the end of the videos - always leave me laughing.
Hey 👋🏻 Welcome! Thank you for joining us. 💜
Love it when you guys start a vlog off so playful. Such awesome visuals from the drone too.
Haha! Thanks 😂👍🏻
I like your vlogs very much. The out takes make me laugh
Thanks, Robert 👍🏻
Notwithstanding the mist, the views were still gorgeous!!
Yeah, added a calmness to it all. x
Great catch of the steam train going across the railway viaduct - beautiful! You must have loved that!
Yes, thanks
love the "bloopers" at the end!
Hehe, thanks! 😂
Your video and sound work are improving with every video. Great area. I love the "catwalk" around the river gorge. I hope Colin has simmered down from the sugar high and Shaun recovered from the stairway assault. You guys are to fab. LOL
Haha! Thanks. It took me two days to come down 😕 Shaun was fine after a bottle of wine 😂
Best video yet boys! Absolutely loved seeing the drone footage and all the scenery I remember from when I lived in Marple Bridge years ago! Thank you so much ❤️ (especially loved the 'Tigger' moments from Colin after eating all those sweeties 🤣)x
Haha! It took me two days to calm down 😂
You guys should have your own travel programme on TV - Brilliant 👍🏻
We've had offers but Colin wouldn't cope with the pressures of filming like that. Much more able to do these at his own pace. 👍🏻
That's not a misty mess. It's beautiful 😍
Very calming 👍🏻
My goodness! That Millenium Walkway is beautiful! Honestly, though, so much of the countryside in the UK is beautiful. My wife and I could spend months there and explore from Cornwall to Orkney... Someday we'll have to journey from the States to take it all in!
Great views, great places, lots of candy, everything to be happy
Haha! Always be happy, Jean-Louis 👍🏻👋🏻
Just half way through and I must say your drone footage is a MAGNIFICENT MASTERPIECE!
Wow, thanks!
The drone footage of the 2 bridges near the start was simply awesome guys !! And to get footage of "Tornado" crossing was a real bonus.
I'd always thought the L&L was the UK's prettiest canal but having seem some of the PF I might have to change my mind !!
Safe travels as always chaps.
Thanks, Stephen! It is indeed a lovely canal. Way too short though 😂
I LOVE your channel for so many reasons :) 1. the production and editing is superb on every video 2. you guys filmed the entire construction of your floating palace which really taught me a lot about these vessels and its easy to see how much love, effort and creativity went into its construction, you gave ol'Silver a true personality :D 3. your guys relationship is the first one I've seen that is as strong, devoted and loving as the relationship I share with my Justin
Thanks, Samson! At least you can enjoy the canals from Colorado 👍🏻 Thanks for some lovely feedback 👍🏻 xx
What a stunning looking place, even the misty bits were beautiful. Another cracking episode guys, you're setting the bar really high with these, top job.
Thanks, Chris!
another quality production! as entertaining and informative as always . !
Thanks, Stephen 👍🏻
I've only just discovered you guys, and I've watched several vlogs now and everyone has made me laugh...you guys are bonkers, and thanks for that,we all need a bit of light heartedness these days.
We certainly do! Thanks so much for commenting, Linda 💜
While sunlit scenery is always nice there's a real atmospheric beauty to the misty canal shots.
Also now craving some drumsticks and refreshers and wondering just how far the swizzles factory is from my house :P
Haha! The smell of sweets across that town is just GORGEOUS! 😋
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the sweet factory scene!!! Loved it!!!!! 👍
