I make great coffee at home with 8'o Clock Columbian Medium Roast coffee. I can either buy the bean or ground. I have a grinder and brewing coffee with freshly ground coffee is even slightly better. Plus, I am efficient at making Swedish egg coffee. I like to call it Lutheran church basement egg coffee. I want to include my Norsk and Dansk brethren as well. My egg coffee will give you the energy to do about anything. Plus, it is smooth as silk. I almost forgot, my coffee maker is a 10 year old Mr. Coffee. Starbucks coffee tastes like they ground up used tires.
I do agree that top executives at our corporations are way overpaid! Really, very few of them have truly earned it, it is more of a norm now to overpay the C-suite. Having said that, jobs like barista or server are not meant to be life-long careers, they should be viewed as a temporary stepping-stones for life experience and to explore better opportunities.
I feel like there hasn't been a thing this year that people didn't try and go on strike with... People that don't have a job would love to work there. Plus all Starbucks has to do is find people who would be grateful to have a job and to work there. But then when people get replaced they'll be all upset they don't have a job anymore
