What types of guides would you like to see next? I am in the works on some other vids covering: optimal base building, how to survive in PvP, how to get ahead of your opponents on wipe day, and even more build combos!
My perfered builds are greatsword which fits well with berserker, and a frost build, i would also like to see a slasher rogue, necromancer, pistol, and blood builds. thanks for the videos they're really helping so far
i been loving to use Longbow and Slashers, Phantom Spear, Unholy Bulwark and Chaos Volley. with either Unholy or Chaos Dash. for gear been using Unholy jewelry and movement speed gear set. and fan of Rogue blood.
While the builds are nice I think the showcase would benefit from having current level opponents, seeing as you are leagues ahead of the one you are currently showcasing I feel like having appropriate leveled bosses would showcase the builds in a better light.
Only issue with level app is they need todo bosses pretty flawlessly to showcase them, I’ll tell you now after killing brutal drac, stuff works, and stuff “doesn’t” work, when I fuck yo the fights, so the “berserker build” he did was a meta before 1.0, and only thing he didn’t showcase with it was upgrade gems that make it truely busted, it feels a lot “worse” now but still does work in regard of surviving, but tbh most of time nothing will beat just doing fight and throwing spells. But sometimes you do need the movement speed from power surge etc to clear stuff sadly, and sadly again, most if not all ultimates I’ve found to be pretty bad and useles. CD too long and reward of using is really not great, dracs neck ultimate is a bit insane vs bosses, but what’s point after you get it from…. The last boss?. lol.
I would like to recommend a small alternative setup to the raging build, same two base spells: blood rage and power surge, but as dash try to use the chaos dash. It has a gem roll which heals you for a decent amount over time when you hit an ignited target, a really good synergy with power surge. Combine it with brute blood, and the self sustain is amazing even on high level on brutal difficulty.
Honestly, I would say just keep making builds in general and post them. I have found it hard to find anything out there and glad to have found yours. Cheers

Ty for the vid. I've been using the ball lightning ability + necro counter and heart strike for PvE with scythe/pistols to proc the static debuff efficiently and its been working very well. Another build i really like is using the blood spheres that heal you or a teammate + a reliable ranged dps option like void or chaos volley + heart strike, it provides decent damage and healing.
Oh definitely, I have some builds for those special weapons that add specific elements too. As well as builds to play with allies, like support spells such as the Sanguine Coil or Blood Fountain, and other buff spells too.
Ball Lightning plus the axe throw is what I've been using, and yeah, it wrecks PVE base mobs. You can then follow up on any survivors with the forward axe-dash continue into a frenzy combo chain. I'm almost worried the devs will add a cooldown nerf to proccing Static charges as a result. The damage output matches some so-called Ultimates.
Please work on your Pronunciation and intonation. Sometimes it's difficult to follow you because you either use filler words or start with one word but then use another. It seems as if you are regularly unsure of what you are saying. Besides that, great video

Great video! Would be interested in seeing a "Brutal Difficulty Optimized builds" guide. I know its subjective but it feels like some skills (and weapons) that excel in normal mode dont in brutal.
@@Sye787 it’s all good. I’m currently working on the brutal builds now. It’s a little harder to make because there aren’t many “1 build” fits all kinda thing since some bosses need specific counters.
You are literally almost 20 lvls above Octavian which is 20% more dmg and 20% less dmg taken. So not really an accurate showcase of the build. The other fight your 30 lvls higher.

Then they take it into easy content to showcase it, and I don’t think it’s a good way to showcase a viable build. Hey man, it's important to farm quickly especially in hotspots for PvP so you can get your goods and get your goods and get outa there. Anyways, after playing this build more, it actually is pretty solid in combat in the later game, if you use the atk speed/leech set as showcased by another youtuber.
Hey man just a tip, you might want to write out what it is you want to say in your video ahead of time, and practice that like a script - since you're not on screen yourself you could also read directly from your script. There's plenty of pauses and uncertainty when you speak and your sound level drops and rises, which make it, personally, quite grating to pay attention to. It'll go a long way in you sounding like a professional that's delivering information that's been constructed with effort, I don't mean this as an insult, merely some advice from someone who does a lot of presentations and presents a lot of information to large groups of people.
I use tha chaos dash, chaos volley, the Wolf, and the ulti the blood magic that dash and recover you (sorry I'm bad with the names) and weapon the sword, its maybe not the best but it works for me, i Just play single PvE

Very informative video, though the soundtrack/music you've got running in the background is fairly loud at times and extremely repetitive and distracting.
An interesting choice. You love to jump around huh. Anyways Heart Strike, Wisp Dance, or Lightning Typhoon are pretty sweet for AoE options, especially since you can get into the thick of things with polarityshift. Otherwise Chaos Barrage is one of my favorites for blasting shit at range, or Crimson Beam.

A valid point. You can be skeptic if you'd like, but the Necro build works even on leveled targets and even targets above your level. It's literally the build I used most of the game, and the skeletons make many of the bosses incredibly easy since they become targets allowing you to move a little more freely. Works great on Brutal too. Edit: Moving forward I'll be sure to fight against leveled targets when showcasing the builds. But even then, it's kind of a moot point since certain builds work better/worse vs certain bosses. Almost like you have to swap your skills on the fly instead of using the same spells all the time :o
Any advice on a PvE Longbow focus build? with twin axe back up. I'm not endgame level yet but I'm slightly struggling with spells. Atm I have Unholy projectile that summons skele bois, ward of the dammed I sometimes swap with Ice Nova or the unholy magic version and my ultimate is the exploding spider. I would of though frost would be a great tree but I find it not great, unless I'm doing something wrong, could be only been playing a week. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with the DK. It’s quite good. Solarus soulstone is okay, but its ai is weird. DK prioritizes players. Solarus focuses AI some reason. If players are present it usually ignores them and focuses mobs.
Reapers were solid, but I wouldn't call them OP. Greatsword and Pistols are really good for PvE thanks to their i-frame attacks. The unholy/summoning builds are pretty good for new players. But there are some boss fights where having minions is a bad thing.
It varies honestly. Lately I’ve been using Void with the jewel that makes it produce mini explosions and I also slot in Ball Lightning too. I’ll get you the names of the specific jewels when I get back home!
All of them! They’re always active no matter what once you get them. I only have the t1 passives arm, but as for order I went with Unholy, static, chaos, illusion and then the other 2
Literally said it’s meant for farming materials. Although with a proper setup it actually does solid damage. (Using atk speed gear and equipment.) In this vid I’m using scholar/mage type equipment.
What ilvl are you? I'm guessing end of act 2 so around 38-45ish? I think those work fine if you're using a ranged weapon. Otherwise there are spellcaster variants that are quite nice!
@@SaltyBeagleYT Are you using the crossbow? I prefer the pistols and the longbow over the cross bow. So if you're using the duskwatcher armor, that's not bad. movement is always good. But you could combine it with 2 set of the crimson templar to get some leach, that might suffice. Otherwise i'd suggest 4 set of the dark magus for the spell leach. As for your level 8 set, I reccomend the Maleficer if you can get it, provides spell cdr at 2 and spell leach at 3. I'm personally using the Dread Plate mostly cause it looks cool, it provides slightly more heals and better shields, and lower weapon cdr.

I was over leveled for that fight. The berserker build isn't meant for combat, which I mention. The necro build is a legit one that makes Brutal mode easy.

@@SissyKitty-pm5ew for single target I use corrupting skull and chaos volley. Hit with corrupting to put condemn on for 15% more dmg, then blast em with chaos volley. Get illusion passive for 15% more spell dmg form your illusion dash. For AoE I use void with a jewel that makes smaller explosions after the first one and I use ball lightning or the death knight unholy AoE soell
It's a helmet! It's called the Razer Hood, I think I got it in the gloomrot haha, whenever you loot helmets you auto put them on so I don't remember when I got it, at a certain point I realized hey, my face is green! Sick!
how does it showcase anything about the build if you go at 70+ against a 58 boss? You say you showcase it for farming but why even showcase a bossfight when ur that overgeared? Just a waste of time imo. Way too much non-information, this an axe it does axe things kind of stuff and super annoying repretitive background music. overall not bad but not a video i would link someone that asked me about builds.
@@stylin4905 Gotcha, for the level 6 set go for Dark Magus. For level 8 go for Maleficer. it depends what weapon you like to use. Usually I lean towards the spellcasting side of things, so I like spell leach and CDR. Although currently I'm using the Dreadplate set because it looks cool lol.

You are level 73 fighting a level 58 boss, if you just went a magic build you could kill that boss in 5 seconds and take no dmg.

I personally love spell leach and spell crit. You can blow shit up especially with jeweled spells.

These are beginner builds. Check out the brutal builds. I wouldn't recommend Wraith Spear early on since it takes practice to use. But I agree.

I was over leveled for that fight. The berserker build isn't meant for combat, which I mention.
The necro build is a legit one that makes Brutal mode easy.

Hitting trees and rocks faster = less time farming = helping you in the arms race when teh server first launches.

@@SissyKitty-pm5ew for single target I use corrupting skull and chaos volley. Hit with corrupting to put condemn on for 15% more dmg, then blast em with chaos volley. Get illusion passive for 15% more spell dmg form your illusion dash.
For AoE I use void with a jewel that makes smaller explosions after the first one and I use ball lightning or the death knight unholy AoE soell

It's a helmet! It's called the Razer Hood, I think I got it in the gloomrot haha, whenever you loot helmets you auto put them on so I don't remember when I got it, at a certain point I realized hey, my face is green! Sick!
how does it showcase anything about the build if you go at 70+ against a 58 boss? You say you showcase it for farming but why even showcase a bossfight when ur that overgeared? Just a waste of time imo. Way too much non-information, this an axe it does axe things kind of stuff and super annoying repretitive background music. overall not bad but not a video i would link someone that asked me about builds.

For level 8 go for Maleficer.
it depends what weapon you like to use. Usually I lean towards the spellcasting side of things, so I like spell leach and CDR.
Although currently I'm using the Dreadplate set because it looks cool lol.
