- Last week, I made a post ranking some of my hypperrealistic cakes but got some feedback that said the ramen cake wasn't as hyperrealistic as I had tried to get it. Well today, I'm going to give it another shot! Let me know in the comments how you think I did 💚

I mean yes respect to her for that and she might've even gotten better, if those people had bad intentions well, they just made her stronger so😂 yeah she took that and made herself stronger from it, I like that. But she never had to take the hate and put the effort into a new one, some hate is just hate even if the first one was spectacular, but she might've just agreed and wanted to change things anyway

This cake looks much more realistic than the first ramen cake! I'd love a side-by-side comparison with the actual ramen cup

unfortunately, a side-by-side probably wouldn't look good because the actual ramen has more veggies, seasoning, scum, and bubbles floating on top. and the noodles are flatter.

You are inspiring. Not only do you talk about your "failures," showing us all that it's ok to mess up, but then you try again! I struggle with that. I struggle with learning new things and knowing one day I will look back and see so many flaws - but that's just part of the process. Thanks Natalie!
I agree it is inspiring to see someone else talk about their failures and think of it as a challenge like you said in the video and not a failure! That by itself is very inspiring to see and watch! Also I love the cakes she make the cake hyper realistic!
Lol I can’t believe all the burp sound effects bothered me a little. Like every Time I heard it I also tied it to that bad taste that sometimes comes with it. Lol

I like how she always takes her fans opinions seriously and doesn't get mad and instead take that as an opportunity to learn.
You know, Sideserf, you could have become upset at people on TikTok saying that your cake wasn't realistic. You could have made your annoyance known, and you probably would have had a bunch of people standing up for you.
But you didn't! You took on what they said, you made changes and showed new skills, and the end result was even better than the one before! And that is _exactly_ why I respect you greatly! Very well done, both on the cake and on your all-around great attitude!
I thought the original was pretty good but this one is uncanny! Great job as always!

I cannot stand that burping sound effect it's making me feel sick lmaoo. great cake as always, love the idea to do tiny scrapes on the outside and paint over in the lighter colour, gives the polystyrene effect so much more than the first attempt

I was watching season 2 of “Is it cake” and couldn’t stop thinking of how I would love to see you on there, would be amazing if they got around to another season and you could showcase how amazing you are too!! 😊

the part that gets me is the noodles, ramen noodles have this kinda square shape to them and the noodles in this one and the last one were both round, like spaghetti, which is what makes the illusion feel a little flat to me
that being said, everything else is 100% flawless, the new styrofoam looks fantastic and i love the detailing on the letters

It’s also missing the herbs. A little confused on how she literally made a cup and saw how many veggies come to the top. But maybe I’m outting myself and show how much ramen gets eaten 😂
They also are a little translucent, though idk how you'd do that in a cake
THANK YOU! That's exactly what I just commented. LOL I was looking at the original and thought, "The noodles are wrong." I thought the cup looked fine. When she made the new cake and said she wasn't changing the noodles, I said, "That was the whole problem!"
Although, to be fair, maybe the people commenting on TikTok should have been more specific.

I just watched the first Ramen cake video again. It was good, but this one is so much better! Fantastic to see how much you've improved your skills.
Great cake! One thing I noticed is that you used a chicken lid (orange) instead of beef, (red) but then you added brown beef broth gelatin to make it look beef flavored.

I love how you used feedback to inspire you to make a better cake. Some people I know would just call them haters and let the negative feedback bring down their self esteem. On the other hand, you saw it as a challenge and an opportunity to improve!

Yeah I agree. I love her videos but I couldn't STAND the burp noises this time. I also usually really don't like the little fart sounds either, feels so out of place

It does look more realistic! I think the biggest give away in both cakes was actually the shape of the ramen noodles. The real ones are sorta flat vs. round. But that’s just being very particular love your videos.
that's what i was thinking. plus, cooked noodles are not opaque. i'm not sure what you could do to copy that except just using real noodles, though
Thank you! There's a few of us that have brought this up, but we're mostly being drowned out by everyone praising the "perfection" lol.

@@itsame5871 it is absolutely awesome but the noodle shape is very obvious to anyone who's eaten cup of noodles often. All of her cakes are amazing! She's usually so detail oriented that I'm really surprised she missed this.

This cake was absolutely amazing! I honestly can’t believe how realistic this cake looks! I think this is one of my favorite, hyper realistic cakes you have ever done!!! I love baking, and I love painting and decorating, so this was really fun for me to watch. I would love to watch you make a hyper realistic cake of a kitchen appliance!😁❤️

I was looking at wedding cakes (not for my wedding) and I saw a four tiered cheese board with grapes and flowers and I thought it was a hyperrealistic cake! But it was actual cheese! I must've been watching too many of your videos lol. But it got me thinking, a hyperrealistic cake of a cheeseboard would be fun, maybe with gelatine grapes?

I loved it!! It does look like the real thing! If anything the only advice I could give is that the noodles could’ve been slightly thinner and more curly. But that aside I think it was fantastic!

Looks great. A lot of them have peas too and that extra pop of green would add even more color. But it still looks amazing regardless, definitely an improvement
