@zach15k20 the goal was to see if the tigers could stand up to m22 or m22 to the tiger and while I admire the water, it defeated the purpose.

that water play was truly genius
I've read a lot of first hand accounts from Western Allied tankers in WW-2 (and actually knew a few as well) virtually all of them said when they encountered German heavy armor they would either try to out flank them, track them, hit the turret front with white phosphorus -- or if it look hopeless, they'd call in an air strike or arty. Some skilled gunners might aim for the turret ring or lower mantlet on Panthers. But I've never hear of any of them purposely try to shoot off a barrel.
This one was fun to play, I only got into the Alaska match, but it was still pretty enjoyable!!!
as a Germany main I could say that if you used panzer 3's instead of the tigers it probably would of been a different story

If it's the story that Yarnhub covered it was an M4 Sherman that rammed the Tiger 2.

Bruh my friend told me that he was in a custom game in a pz lll and out of nowhere 10 locust came out of nowhere two locust took his tracks one got his gun and another one got his engine then they made a circle around him and all shot at the same time😂😂😂
The last match the only hope for m22 was everybody on line and charge all at once. Coming at them one at a time played into the Tigers hands. It was like a Hollywood 6 on 1 fight. They all took their turns charging.
M22 is always a priority target when I see it

About a year ago, one of my mates suggested doing Tiger I vs small light tanks. The friend who suggested it was in his Tiger, I was in an M22, friend 2 was in a Tetrarch and friend 3 was in an M8 Greyhound. Map was Normandy town.
Tiger friend was confident. M22 snuck up on Tiger, shot to the barrel, barrel is red, friend tries to shoot me and his barrel breaks and I'm undamaged. Me, Tetrarch and Greyhound proceeded to mercilessly circle around the Tiger, disable him. I sat next to him and kept pecking at that ammo rack until he detonated.
Tiger asked for rematch. We actually chased the Tiger. Tiger running away from and M22 Locust, a Tetrarch and an M8 Greyhound is bloody hilarious.

An interesting challenge that shows how much balance and physics problems WT has.
Ramming damage should have been implemented a long time ago, taking into account the weight of the tank.
In World of Tanks, this mechanic exists, and in such a game, an M22 so close to a tiger would simply be crushed or smashed.
Next idea: l3/33 vs maus

the 2 biggest kill i had in the M22 was a BVM and a Jagdtiger and it is halarious how this little thing can wreak havoc if you dont pay attention to this little menace

face it. a getting swarmed my M22’s = death. you are not escaping.
Whilst there is no record of m22s encountering tigers.
When we saw locusts swarming tigers another tank did that a couple times to tigers in Africa. That being the m5.
It was what lead to the development of what would be the m24 chaffee.
Speaking of which. Our chaffee friends did have an interesting encounter with panthers.
That would be cool to see. M24 chaffee vs panther.
Now because I just know it's coming. What I said earlier was a brief history. Maybe I got a couple things wrong or missed some details out.

This is pretty close to real life not with the m22 but in general the Americans had huge production numbers vs Germany big gun and big armor
irl they wouldint be able to aim at the barrel only aiming center of mass at the tank so if they disabled the barrel of a tank it would be purely by chance

Challage idea, FV4005 vs modern tanks am very curious.
I haven't tried it yet, but I recently smashed a Maus at 1800 meters with one hit.
I don't think anything will survive more than one hit - after the first one the reactive armor will probably work, but the second hit where the reactive plates are already inactive must be lethal.
@@marcinos303 Try aim under the the tank its a sure kill, i also killed a maus but only realise it after i viewed the reaplay, i was doing the arch thing
