He does that almost every game when the timing permits. There is always an overseer lurking around his opponent base.
if game 3 was a spy movie it would have been Serral sitting in a crusty air vent for hours just waiting for his chance to slither out and put a bannana peel underneath maxpax's foot at a key timing before making a dramatic escape via hang glider.

Honestly MaxPax has had such a good performance recently. He is much more like Serral in the remaining consistently good, whereas I feel Clem and Reynor fluctuate in dominance.
MaxPax has been out hero'ing Hero. It's amazing play. The buff to stasis really seems to be strong and his blink/prism play is best in the world.

I realized today after meeting some old friends I hadn't seen in years how unstable and largely unpleasant the last few years were for me (grad school through the pandemic and then trying to get hired).
About 8 months ago I found Winter's channel again, and I realized tonight one of the reasons I've made it a habit to watch almost every night is the consistency. Winter always comes in with enthusiasm for RTS, and almost always comes in with contagious optimism and humor along with a serious dose of wit. Thank you for making the last 8 months so much more bearable
Maybe templar should get an energy regen upgrade like Medivacs got. the Starting energy upgrade got removed in WoL because warp-in storm was kind of OP, but a regen upgrade wouldn't have that problem.
Yeah storm is something you have to charge up, unload, then immediately turn into archons. It'd be nice to have MOAR STORM instead of an unreliable burst and fizzle. Heck, storm isn't even all that good, at least at the pro level.
This is actually a really great idea. Storm builds often fail because it can't meet out consistent damage like the robo units. Rushing storm is particularly risky. You can lose a game as a result of just 1 or 2 poorly placed storms.
Serral becoming truly transcendent. Using all the tools. Even the overlords. No nerf can help or you need to destroy zerg winrate for others.

Zerg is imba. The whole race needs a redesign. Zero weaknesses. It’s not hard. Serral is the just the best in the world at abusing it.

I'm enjoying PvZ more and more these days. It's the only non-mirror matchup where the game is decided by skill, not by OP units that keep you in the game when you're crazy far behind.
Glad to see that the nonsensical "fix TvP" patch actually improved PvZ dramatically. It feels almost accidental, but PvZ right now feels like the most healthy matchup we've seen in a LONG time.

Serral beating Colo/Archon army with Ling/Hydra is crazy. Since Serral didn't field Ravagers, I think if MaxPax traded one or two Archons for sentries, he could've kept some Colos alive for later.

Man Protoss is so gud vs Zerg but Serral is so gud vs Protoss. Also that contaminate on storm blew my mind
That first game shows what should happen when you lose a bunch of workers early to a great harass. Serral had pretty much no chance unless MaxPax threw the game hard.

I am always worried that the balance council is so focused on making Serral weak they forget that every other Zerg is not Serral and gut the race completely. Feels like the entire balance is about to fall over.

Im a zerg main and i still think the feedback nerf is bullshit. Its really not easy to pull off on a spell caster that can’t cloak unlike the other main spell casters infester ghost.

Hydras should be able to burrow and shoot lurker spines that turn into banes upon contact. It really would be overpowered I don't think.

At the lurker stage, they would what butterflies are to caterpillars.
This means a group of lurkers would be referred to as a "kaleidoscope".
Love knowing the only way to win with zerg anymore is to literally play like the best in the world. Zerg feels so fucking garbage to play vs toss and terran anymore when we literally have all our units being made near fuck all useless one by one over the last fucking 10 years

Its really a shame how even the top protoss players did not respect the value of Cannons. Meanwhile the other P players are complaning that protoss units are weak.
Im confused. Cannons are completely garbage. Barely trade even with a unit that doesn't shoot down, corrupter. Never build them if you can help it.

I have always Zerg was the rush race. But it turns out that it is Protoss that is the rush race, and Zerg is turtle. Because Protoss can never fight anything from 6 min onward in a pro game.
