Thank you, Josh. I’m a recovering alcoholic whose trying to get back into exercising. I don’t do CrossFit. But watching your videos gives me motivation to get out and do what I can. Appreciate you, man
The "getting into the gym is the hardest part" is so true. I always tell me friends they should head directly to the gym after work because if they go home nothings gonna happen. And if they feel tired its just by sitting around and work with your head all day - you only realize how much energy you have actually left until you start getting your heartrate up and move!
Seriously Josh, these videos are amazing. This is the quality of content fans have come to expect from CrossFit and now you’re leading the way, carrying the torch. Your fans are beyond grateful.
Josh I hope to see hundreds of episodes like this just watching you walk to ur garage and getting warmed up is awesome! And you’re absolutely right simply doing that getting started feels like the hardest thing to do. As ridiculous as that sounds it’s true at least it is for me. Thanks for the motivation and sharing ur life. Main reason why I’m I big fan is you’re humor and you’re a blue collar red white and blue merican! Meat and potatoes kinda fella a mans MAN! keep em coming BROTHER!!!
Josh, you were the reason I started doing crossfit, I randomly watched a video of the 2016 games, and I remember I tought "that dude is a BEAST, I want to be like him." And now being able to watch your videos is amazing. Keep working! #Paytheman Cheers from Mexico!
Thanks Bridges. I just spent about 10K on my garage gym and slowly getting back in to CrossFit. As a 44 yr old I took a couple years away but pumped to get back at it. I’ll enjoy keeping up with your videos. Keep grinding!
Just found this channel today. Thanks for the motivation, Josh. You are right, sometimes getting to the gym is the hardest, but once you get there, the fun begins. One of the great things is, Josh responds to comments. Keep it up, Josh.
As a coach I have always said that starting is the hardest thing. This video shows exactly that. Great work by JB. Always great to hear an athlete say that it's ok to adjust your goals. Tnx from London.
Ι like the simple video garage concept keep it that way !! And the best of all is the last 2 min where u explain how the workout went what u could improve what went wrong etc - keep it simple videos even after u go 1.000.000+ subscribers)
A few weeks ago you inspired me and (Miskolc Fight Team) of course doing the MURPH wod 😎 it was soooo sooo painful and tough but..we make it!! I can't wait the new episode..thanks for the sharing Josh!!
Finally 😀 So glad your doing vlogs and sharing your wealth of knowledge. Struggling with audio (music too loud compared to conversations) so having to keep turning volume up and down to adjust.. hopefully some early teething issues but I’ll be watching every episode... cheers Josh - keep em coming!
This guys ultra fucking cool, no shit talking at all , has a family , trains at home , trains like a fucking beast, says it how it is , listens to normal music , he must be born in Australia ... The best athlete ever .. cheers brother .💪💪😁
Amazing! Good work out.. maybe next ep you could talk a lil about mentallity and how do you set your mind to go through a hard workout without resting too much everytime you break Tks for the vids! Its a privilege to see ur training sessions
I am 22 years old im from Ajijic in México, a little town of 10 thousand people, and Crossfit is Huge down here, i Just want to thank you for all the motivation that you give us all with your videos, and beign such a great role model for the Sport , Go Bridges!
Love the first episode! Started CrossFit 5 months ago and you’re the one athlete I’ve watch over and over again!! You’re work ethic is super inspirational!
Thanks for the motivation! I walked to the gym and did a warm up on the treadmill and the chin up and dip bars along with some sit ups and knees to elbows. And scaled for mortals: 3 Mins on rowing machine 1 minute kettlebell swings 10 reps of overhead presses -Repeat 3 rounds with a 3 minute rest in between rounds. Minimal to no rest between sets! Overall a pretty well rounded workout. (and since I'm hardcore- I turn the shower to really, really cold and stand under it to help the immune system and to ease muscle soreness. ) I can't wait to see more.
3 weeks later, and still liking and using this workout. 5 mins on teh rower, then a variation off overhad presses or dips, then some battle rope action and some kettlebell swings to ensure my quads will hate me tomorrow. Throw in some of those push ups with dumbells and then some plyo jumps for some variety too.
.....but dude...it’s that playlist that’s on point. Ooooweeeee love that Trainwreck...that’s about what that workout was. Wow, hard work Josh! Like your assessment at the end. Even liked your phrase...it pays to put out! 🤣🤣🤣 i hear brother.
Studying for my exams this term and saw you posted a video. The phrase about just getting started and then things get easier. Incredibly motivating when things get hard! Just get started and thing will be easier. Love it! Keep it up, champ!
Hardest part is getting to the gym, 100% agree mate, I train crossfit 5 times a week at 6am. Your videos motivate me too push myself! Keep doing what your doing mate, great mentality!
Greetings from Norway :- ) Love the videos, keep pushing man. Got a bad knee my self which is beyond repairing, and by re-focusing ive grown 100x as and athlete! I'm sure when you start to hit the gym hard again your name will re-appear in Games asap ;) Let's pay him!
The first step for me is always the hardest (even on my way to the gym I'm internally hyping/berating myself) but once I'm at the gym my brain is ON. In a rut at the mo and clothes are getting snug now so trying to fix my mindset, yr vids are helping so thanks!
I always enjoy the SEAL themes/mentalities threaded through...It pays to be a winner! Great video Josh, I really appreciate the motivation this gives me.
Hey Josh, great second video. A good pace in the editing. One suggestion I have is to have some overlay text to the video to help me follow along. For example, when there are clips of you warming up, what are you doing? The rep counts of each round at the end was good, but maybe throughout have a counter and timer overlaying the video?
Bridges has one of the best mindsets in the game!
Probably from all that time spent in the surf at BUDs
