my stepdad was a drunk that used to hit on my mama....he was dumb enough to give me a .22 rifle when i turned 13. 2 months after my birthday he made a mistake and started in on her during a 3 day drinking binge, I used that .22 on him. 2 shots to the stomach stopped him in his tracks, I went to juvenile hall till I was 15...but he never touched my mama again. This song makes me tear up everytime I hear it, in anger and pain.........thank you for your reaction, it really touched me.
This it’s home for me y’all. I lost my little sister 4 years ago this April 1st to a pos that was supposed to feel her life joy and happiness, but instead he took her life with his bare hands. If everyone could please pray for my family, because the trial for this horrible mess is about to get started finally after 4 long horrible years, and I’m afraid that my mom may not make it through it! Much love and respect to everyone!! God bless us each and everyone 🙏🏻🙏🏻
In country boy vernacular "Wait in the truck" translates as "I need to handle something and I don't want you to see it being done." Sometimes real men must unleash the monster inside us, we must be meaner than evil. We don't want you to see that side of us, we don't want you to fear that side of us so we tell you to ''wait in the truck" As she is on the stand testifying she says "I don't know if he's an angel because angels don't do what he did" I would submit that he was both a guardian as well as an avenging angel. When the system, when society fails to protect those weakest among us it is left to rough men standing outside the rule of law to do what is necessary to preserve the peace, protect the innocent, and return civility. Some call this "vigilante justice" but for some the vigilante is the only hope to obtain justice. Here is what I saw in the video: A drifter, a loner, a ex'con (Based on the prison tats) finds a gal who has been beaten, he knows the signs he's seen them in the past in a woman he holds dear. He makes the decision to help her, the only help he knows is violence. He has been to prison and knows he can do the time. He makes the choice to remove her from her prison, a prison of abuse and pain, he frees her.
For a man to be good he must have a monster inside of him. It takes a monster to fight a monster. A man without one cannot protect anyone from evil. Without that monster to direct towards other monsters a man is simply complicit in evil, and for evil to prevail it only takes good men to do nothing.
My wife was in a relationship that she managed to get away from. She literally moved to a different state to get away from him. She still refuses to tell me his name. She knows that if I know who he is, she will have to "wait in the truck." As a side note, I own a Taurus Judge.
When I was 19, I got married and he moved us to a different state so I couldn’t see my family (this was like 45 years ago). As soon as we moved, he changed. He worked a good job but I wasn’t allowed to work. We couldn’t have a phone (no cell phones) so I’d walk to the nearest pay phone and call my mom/dad or sister once a week. On New Year’s Eve, we went to his office party at a really nice bar and he got really drunk and started flirting with the waitresses. I was tired and embarrassed and just wanted to go home and go to bed. I asked for the keys to the car and the next thing I know is I’m trying to get up off the floor. I didn’t even realize that he had just punched me in the face and I was bleeding everywhere. I tried to run away but he caught me several times, hitting me with his fists and with metal chairs. The place was filled to capacity but not one person offered to help. They just watched. Finally someone called the police and he was arrested. He got out the next day and I began sleeping on the couch right next to the front door! At the end of that week…around the 5th of January, he came home drunk and went straight to bed. I put my coat on and walked down to the convenient store to call my sister. I told her everything that happened and made her promise not to tell our parents & she promised. I felt so much better and walked home. The next morning the police were knocking on my door which woke my ex up (not good). Next to the cop was my dad and big brother telling me to pack everything I could into the station wagon while the police made my ex go out the back door and leave because my dad had his gun and told the police to meet him and my brother at the trailer, otherwise he was going to kill him. I was so mad at my sister but she saved my life. I was embarrassed around my dad and brother because I felt like a failure especially when they tried to hug me and due to all the bruises and cuts, I had to politely tell them I couldn’t raise my arms up very high. We drove all day to get home, about 10 hours of driving and I never said a word. We got home, and as I was getting out of the car, someone grabbed me and I screamed because of the pain but when I saw it was my sister, I hugged her tightly that the pain didn’t even matter! A week after New Year’s, I was home with my loved ones with 3 broken ribs, broken nose, chipped tooth and 2 black eyes! But I was home! Now I’m 60, met the love of my life at 48 years old and couldn’t be more happier! God never promised there wouldn’t be storms but he did promise He would always walk through them with us!! God bless!
So glad I clicked on this reaction! I am a Christian and it’s wonderful to hear from fellow Christians! I love the story of this song and he sacrificed his life for hers. Very moving song.
My son saved me from going to prison! When my daughter was 16 I was away on a business trip and when I got home I knew something was wrong the way everyone was acting. My wife and daughter just said nothing happened when I asked what was up. When I pressed my son, he said don't worry dad, I took care of him.
The line "I never thought my day of justice would come from a judge under the seat" is an awesome line. The Judge is a five shot revolver that can shoot 410 shotgun or .45 Long Colt rounds.
This is true but that's now what is being referred to in the song. The gun he grabs is a Smith and Wesson not a Judge. It's just a metaphor for Judge,.Jury and Executioner
This is such a powerful song - I've known too many women who survived abusive partners - and others who didn't. At the end when they're singing "have mercy", I think it's a prayer for forgiveness not a plea to a court. At the end she's still waiting in the truck. Thanks for playing this & your comments.
TRUE STORY.... she drove that truck for 20 years, he got out they married. Had kids and now both work for Hardy. (his intention was to fight, until the guy went for a shot gun)
There needs to be more of these songs out. I am not Christian but I'm Muslim and we have more in common than we do have differences. I remember one night my best friend was coming over and he saw a girl that lived on my crescent getting hit on the driveway. He stopped immediately took out his gun and pistol whipped the bf. She ended up staying with me for 3 months till I could get into one of my rental properties. She lived there for a year and a half rent free so she could get back on her feet. Her bf tried to confront me a couple times but would never get on my property so I could deliver the justice he deserved. Happy to say that girl I helped some time ago is now married and just had a baby boy, she asked me to be the godfather for her son and I couldn't be more honored.
I am not a religious person, but I do believe in Karma, and know that those that do evil unto others get evil in return. Thank you for what you did for her.
There is a song that is know of a prequel to this. It's about a young boy who watches him mom get abused repeatedly and ends up dead at the hands of her abuser. In this video Hardy is the grown man who was once that little boy.
A MAN would protect someone being abused. The person doing the abusing was not a man. Notice he tried to run from Hardy? Thats because he's a sniveling coward at heart, he can only abuse and dominate those who are weaker than him. I lived that life. My dad abused me and my mom. Once she got 1000 miles away from him; he put his fist through the door and brought her back. We had no one to rescue us. When I was 17, I had enough. I stood up to him. I was a 5'4" girl, weighed 100 lbs. He was a 6' cop who outweighed me by 90 lbs. After I was done with him, he was a guest of the local ICU for 2 weeks. A family friend made him drop the charges. When he was released from the hospital I told him if he hit my mom or me again, he wouldnt need the hospital, even if it meant I went to prison. He never touched either of us again.
It may be, but as far as this situation goes, I think it means just a gun. I've been there, and if someone had done that for me, it wouldn't matter what kind of gun it was. I would still call it the judge under the seat.
1 min til the first ad, so congrats on the numbers!!! What's funny is I had just decided to subscribe and the ad hit 🤣 Haven't even started the reaction yet, and I can tell that I am going to enjoy your content!! "Let us court who you're dating"....extremely sound advice
This is what a man should be. A man is supposed to make sacrifices for not just the people he cares about but for the innocent. He is supposed to be a protector even when it could cost him his life or freedom. My cousin did something similar. He spent 20 years for doing that to someone who was hurting a little one.

I’m new to yall and enjoy y’all’s reactions. I just subbed and look forward to some more! I’m joining AA soon and plan on putting God at the head of my table and marriage! There’s a reason yall popped up while I’m searching for my sobriety and Christianity!
Did y'all notice she got back into his truck as of sat of saying, waiting. Been married for over a decade to a firefighter. His job is to protect others. When it comes to me....he would destroy the world. That's not a joke in his mind. Nor mine. I tell him, always, when there is nothing left but darkness and no existence, I will find you and love you still.
But it also refers to a gun in general being the judge. Could’ve been a bat, a crowbar, or anything else. Might’ve meant the actual Judge, but doesn’t have to.
I absolutely love this song! A judge which is under the seat is a revolver that shoots both 45LC or 410 Shotgun shells! The references a lot of people dont get are those i picked up on. I am the kind of person that detests anyone that abuses others! I would do the same thing ,sadly ,for i wouldnt be able to live with my self to see someone so abused with out justice!!!
I love you guys!!! Every video, ya'll bring me closer to Jesus!... This is a great song!!!... Great react guys!!! When she leaves the prison, she leaves in his truck!!!
This means the world we can only pray we are helping others as we too are growing closer to God always. Peace and blessings to you. God bless , we love you 🙏❤️
When he said in the song that "she didn't have to tell the whole truth because he knew what she had been through", tells me me that he might have been a witness to that domestic violence either his mom or sister. He would also understand that it doesn't get less but only escalates, so his response seems plausible and almost justified.
I can’t believe someone actually complained about you talking about God. I don’t know if there is a God but learning from people like yourselves help me to learn, pray and feel closer to God so keep doing what you do it does help that one person… me :)
Hardy is an awesome singer songwriter from Philadelphia Mississippi. Reminds me of Garth Brooks the thunder rolls.. extended version take care and God bless 🙏
I have never had a doubt that I would put myself in a situation that may cost me my life in protection of others, especially my family. But I have often pondered whether I would actually take someone's life in those same situations. After many years of soul searching, I think I would. I hope I never have to find out.
I've been married now for 18 years this August, but before I walked away from Domestic Violence twice. I wear full dentures and have PTSD now. This song is real deep and should be heard... by many... My marriage now is great, loving and wonderful. I endured hell and I never call myself a victim, I'm a survivor. People close their eyes and ignore Domestic Violence as if it's something that doesn't happen. It does and it is getting worse. I will admit back then I'd have been happy if a man came to help me, but I didn't and I had to pull myself out. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate the man I have now who is wiling able and will protect me, my first abuser has stalked me since 2000 and he always finds ways to show up...
Hardy is an amazing song writer and performer. His must check out songs are: Give heaven some hell A rock The Mockingbird and the Crow Sold out Radio song Go in that order and you will see his country side and then "The mockingbird and the crow" is a transition song from country to rock.
I wasn't sure about you all @ first. But while watching your reaction,I just felt the hand of God touch my heart & i really needed to hear what you were saying, so thank you.❤
great reaction you didnt pay attention to the lyrics! "I let the hammer drop before he could get, to the 12 he was reachin for" powerful song and video.. no room or place for abuse in this world!
not all heros wear capes. people say not to fear the man that can only kill your body... you have to fear the man who can kill your body and soul... it is one of this world's rare Arts to have the ability (responsibility) to deal out both death and judgement. the look in their eyes when they realize in their litteral soul that you are very much purposefully ending them forever is a gift all by itself.
These men and women who stand up against domestic violence are everyday heroes, he didn't murder him, murder is the letting of innocent blood abortion killing children that man was not innocent. God's will is not for us to be abused, but to love one another as He loves us. God bless y'all ❤
First off, I’d like to say I love your videos. I get a certain type of warmth from you guys that is kind of hard to put in words. With that being said, I’ve just begun my journey into religion, a religious lifestyle. However, I find myself getting caught in the same “train wreck” with every step I take in this adventure. I’m curious to see your thoughts on James Arthur’s song, train wreck and how our father might have rescued you. Hope you guys are having an amazing day. Thanks again for taking the time to read this, even if you don’t react. ❤
There are “wait in the truck” kinda men then their are the ones who aren’t… judge under the seat the most missed lyric and most brilliant Taurus Judge is a powerful 45 colt pistol which also shoots 410’s. Where I’m from when a man says wait in the truck it’s about to go down. So keep your butt in the truck !
Hardy is a great writer and singer some other songs would be Sold out Truck bed Life on a rock Give heaven some hell Some songs from Laney Wilson are Heart like a truck Watermelon moonshine Things a man aught to now
I like the 3D wall behind you. Lainey Wilson is all so an actress. She is in the series Yellowstone. I am surprised at peoples shock though when he shoots the guy. He goes in with a Judge pistol and he says, "I let the hammer down before he could get to that 12 he was reaching for".
I'm late to the party and this reaction is great. Just wanted to point out in the end notice how he doesn't ask the judge for mercy, he asks the Lord. I always thought that was a cool representation of the different justice systems . . . . This world's and God's ❤❤❤
When I was growing up we understood the significance of "wait in the truck" or "get in the car". We were taught at a young age that if your dad, brother, cousin, etc. said those words you don't argue, you dont ask questions you just do it. They had to take care of business and you didn't need to be there. Also notice he ask for mercy from God not the justice system or judge. Love this songs message.
There was a reason I NEVER told my family that I was being physically and emotionally abused. I had to handle it on my own or I would never have handled the situation at all. If you are in this situation, find a way out!!! I know you can, but you have to do it for yourself!! It doesn't matter how many people want to help you, you need to find the strength to get out of the abuse!!!
Sometimes a man has to be the guardian angel and sometimes he has to be the avenging angel and sometimes that means visting violence on those that truly deserve it
I remember the first time. It was in the parking lot of a truck stop. He was drunk and drug me out of our van drivers door while I was in the passenger seat. He drug me around the lot by my neck. I ended up in the er with neck and back strain. The look on that drs face? He knew. He gave me some pain meds for the pain. My ex only stole them all that night. I wish someone in that parking lot had seen and said “ wait in the truck”. It would have saved me 7 years of torment and suffering only to be stripped of everything I ever owned, left with seizures caused by ptsd, oh and let’s not forget the c-ptsd, fear, panic attacks and feeling like your chest is caving and you’re going to die. Or the chronic gastritis and bleeding ulcers among other crazy ptsd reactions like blood pressure or body temp dropping dangerously low. Yeah, the mind can only take so much then it starts to shut systems down. Yes, Yeshua is my savior and king, yet, I still wish someone had said “wait in the truck”. That’s should be justifiable in our country. Cuz today I still suffer what the mind can never forget and he’s moved on to his next victim.
If I tell my wife or kids to wait here/ in the truck there are no questions asked they do it. Not because they are afraid but because they know Dad is gonna deal with it!!
my stepdad was a drunk that used to hit on my mama....he was dumb enough to give me a .22 rifle when i turned 13. 2 months after my birthday he made a mistake and started in on her during a 3 day drinking binge, I used that .22 on him. 2 shots to the stomach stopped him in his tracks, I went to juvenile hall till I was 15...but he never touched my mama again. Sorry you had to go through that. God bless and hope you are living well now.

May God bless you son. Your mum has a great son.

The line "I never thought my day of justice would come from a judge under the seat" is an awesome line. The Judge is a five shot revolver that can shoot 410 shotgun or .45 Long Colt rounds.

May God uphold our men and keep them strong. We need you.
JUDGE UNDER THE SEAT IS A TYPE OF GUN " THE JUDGE "
Taurus colt 45 Judge pistol also shoots 410 the most missed and brilliant lyric !
But it also refers to a gun in general being the judge. Could’ve been a bat, a crowbar, or anything else. Might’ve meant the actual Judge, but doesn’t have to.
Hardy said it was referring to the Taurus Judge.
@@timpphillipsWe need good men and guns.
Though it appears in the video he is using a S&W Governor. The cylinder on a Judge swings out to the opposite side.
Thank you!! Yall true to your word!! I loved it!
Just wait in the Truck! God bless you!

I love you guys!!! Every video, ya'll bring me closer to Jesus!... This is a great song!!!... Great react guys!!! When she leaves the prison, she leaves in his truck!!!
I think, well hope, that she's still waiting in the truck when he gets out.
This means the world we can only pray we are helping others as we too are growing closer to God always. Peace and blessings to you. God bless , we love you 🙏❤️
I Spanish they say "Dios te paga" . God pays you back, and he did what was right. You NEVER BEAT A WOMAN....EVER!
You guys are wonderful I glad I stumbled across your channel ❤ you 2 give the rest of us hope....
When he said in the song that "she didn't have to tell the whole truth because he knew what she had been through", tells me me that he might have been a witness to that domestic violence either his mom or sister. He would also understand that it doesn't get less but only escalates, so his response seems plausible and almost justified.
LOVE THIS SONG! Love y'alls channel and advice! God Bless you guys and your Marriage! MUCH LOVE! :) Prayers for Health would be MUCH appreciated! :)
I can’t believe someone actually complained about you talking about God. I don’t know if there is a God but learning from people like yourselves help me to learn, pray and feel closer to God so keep doing what you do it does help that one person… me :)
God is blessing your ministry.
This was a good one, may Christ be with you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💯🇺🇸
Man, I could tell you knew what was comin during this! Haha can tell you’re a good man. Great vid!!!
Scripture, There is no greater love then one laying there life down fot another.
Hardy is an awesome singer songwriter from Philadelphia Mississippi. Reminds me of Garth Brooks the thunder rolls.. extended version take care and God bless 🙏
This old vet is here for this. First time watching this as well.
I have never had a doubt that I would put myself in a situation that may cost me my life in protection of others, especially my family. But I have often pondered whether I would actually take someone's life in those same situations. After many years of soul searching, I think I would. I hope I never have to find out.
God bless country and southern rock music
Love ya do what ya do.
Many saw my scars and looked away
Hardy is an amazing song writer and performer. His must check out songs are:
Give heaven some hell
A rock
The Mockingbird and the Crow
Sold out
Radio song
Go in that order and you will see his country side and then "The mockingbird and the crow" is a transition song from country to rock.
Hes from small town MS and shes from small town LA and this story is very relatable.
I like her alot for recognizing we guys be that protective some situations
I wasn't sure about you all @ first. But while watching your reaction,I just felt the hand of God touch my heart & i really needed to hear what you were saying, so thank you.❤
great reaction you didnt pay attention to the lyrics! "I let the hammer drop before he could get, to the 12 he was reachin for" powerful song and video.. no room or place for abuse in this world!
I think he was an angel. And that God sent him. Angels are GODS worries and enforcers.
not all heros wear capes.
people say not to fear the man that can only kill your body... you have to fear the man who can kill your body and soul... it is one of this world's rare Arts to have the ability (responsibility) to deal out both death and judgement. the look in their eyes when they realize in their litteral soul that you are very much purposefully ending them forever is a gift all by itself.
These men and women who stand up against domestic violence are everyday heroes, he didn't murder him, murder is the letting of innocent blood abortion killing children that man was not innocent. God's will is not for us to be abused, but to love one another as He loves us. God bless y'all ❤
It's not murder, it's judgement expedited . . . . .
Thats a single wide trailer by the way. Great song & we need more MEN in the world so this dont have to happen.
Hardy is a great writer and singer some other songs would be
Sold out
Truck bed
Life on a rock
Give heaven some hell
Some songs from Laney Wilson are
Heart like a truck
Watermelon moonshine
Things a man aught to now
Yes to all, but it's just "a rock " also got to add "drink one for me " , "screen ", and " mocking bird and the crow "
I've seen this mv so many times and only just realized she drove away I his truck at the end
Nice to hear a Christian couple, great reaction
The gun under the seat could b any gun they talking judge and jury 💥
Powerful song.
Amen! We have our roles.
If a country boy says wait in the truck, it's on!!!
First time seeing your channel...... looking for to checking out more.❤
Thanks! Try Craig Morgan- Father ,my son and the Holy Ghost
You two are awesome! Bro you found a good one. She understands a real man’s base instincts
Happy I clicked on your reaction. ❤ God Bless
Long live the Pirate Republic!
Not all DV is committed by men. You don't hurt what you love.. man or woman. You cherish and protect what you love and care about.
That's just a way of life in the Backwoods!
Every southern girl knows shits about to get real for Earl if someone tells you “wait in the Truck!!”!❤
Thanks for speaking facts folks.
We will do it! Love you both❤
here in alabama where i live wait in the truck is country talk for if you don't know you can't be asked to testify
I’m a simple man. You love Jesus and are anti feminist, I like and subscribe. ♥️
