- In April I did a swap and make challenge with Mariah from P.M. Artist Studio, for that I made a prototype of the project whilst in the planning stage.
That prototype was never used.....until now.

That image transfer method you used is one I've never heard of and I was really surprised when it worked. 😯 I learned something new and will be using this in my next project. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful
😊
Im happly watching yr new video. My gel plate arrived in aus post this afternoon. I will have a go with it tomorrow. I cant wait. 🎉🎉
Have fun
Will do!!🎉🎉
Love your experiment. It is a little treasure of art for your enjoyment. And happily for us as well. Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊
Thank you! Cheers
Good morning dear Ceri, I absolutely love this! The colours are wonderful, the mark making, everything! Thanks for showing the image transfer with the text. Love that! Your stamps are amazing. Thank you so much for sharing and for the inspiration ❤ have a blessed day, hugs 🤗 ❤❤
Thank you so much
Wow, beautiful color and prints. The colors remind me of my favorite colors in a sunset.
Absolutely lovely, Ceri! Wonderful inspiration to just “cut loose” !
Lovely booklet! Love every little inch.
Love watching you play as you call it! You are creatively creating and I am enjoying watching and considering playing with my gel pad now!!!
Have fun
I love art for art’s sake. People get wrapped up in the “ but what is it for” too much. Doing something just for fun should not get lost. Thank you for the reminder. 💜
Absolutely
Love to see you loosing up and finding your new artistic level. And give us inspiration and tidings tips that I personally need and treasure. Thank you Ceri❤
Oh I love how it turned out. And I enjoyed how you added the colors. They are so beautiful they don't need anything else ❤
Love this! My favorite panel is the pink and yellow with the black letters stamped this way and that💜
Love ❤️ the covers too!
When I was younger, I only enjoyed realism art. I would just go "blank" looking at abstract art. Now I enjoy some of it- -- the colors, movement, light & shadows of abstract art. I think my training in graphic arts using object size, color, grounding objects, font styles along with the things already mentioned allowed me to appreciate the feeling or mood of an abstract piece. Thank you Ceri for this venture into abstract.
Thank you Marilyn.
Great idea and beautiful art, as always, Ceri. I may have to give this a try and make one for my botanical journal. Thank you for turning on the camera and sharing with us.
So glad I watched this. I’m working on a similar small book but in black and white collage. You’ve given me some ideas on adding a bit of color.
I love this! What awesome things you can create when just experimenting for yourself.
Yes! Thank you
Ceri: now, this was a lot of fun. These are mini art pieces as far as I’m concerned. I have a sense you actually feel that too. When you signed it, I knew I was right! Carol from California
What a fun, colourful and cute piece of art! I loved the colours and textures you used and the accent stamps in darker colours really brought it to life. Thank you for sharing your 'play time' with us.
Thank you so much Jen
Love it! It’s fun watching you just play. ❤️
😊 thank you
I love the idea of being just a nice booklet to look at and gain pleasure. This turned out so pretty. You have such a good eye, Ceri, for color and placement.
Thank you so much Sandi
Ceri, the abstract booklet is amazing, the colors and drawings on it. Let loose I would, great job, enjoy your weekend and thanks for sharing.
Thank you! You too
Awesome video!! Your booklet turned out so well!! I'm very glad you filmed it. I always learn so much from you. Thank you! 🧡
Hi Ceri. This is lovely. Had fun watching you and hope you had fun doing it. TFS. Hope you have a great day. 🌞
Thank you! You too Donna and yes I had fun.
Very beautiful unique abstract booklet I 💞 it
At timestamp 55:57, your comment had me hooting just as suddenly as your phrase 'frog spawn".
I actually woke my sleeping doggos. Mind you, I was watching this at 4am and found this all hilarious!
I was so impressed with how confident you were with the posca doodles!! Go YOU!! YAY!!
Fun "non-project" project and made my sleepless night bearable. 😊
Keep well!
Thank you
Happy & fun, love all you create
Oh my gosh that’s striking ❤ so much thought and detail put into it. Lovely!!
Thank you so much
Yeah for a diagonal!!!! Impressive.
What a brilliant experiment, I really enjoyed watching you bring that little concertina book to a delightful surprise on every page. I’m going to do one for myself, thank you as always Ceri, it’s a pleasure to watch you create 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Lovely work, Ceri. Thank you. ❤Even with my eyesight issues, I think that I can do a project like this. And I LOVE that grid!
You’re such a talented artist and it’s so enjoyable watching you try out different projects and techniques. 🇨🇦😃
Thank you so much Alison I’ll add that to the fund for future videos.
It was an inspiration because I got some accordion books to paint and decorate and this is a way to get more fun with it. Thanks Ceri 😊
Have fun
Hi Ceri Dear, I'm excited to watch. I'm drawing a camera right now. I'm learning perspective drawing. Squares, circles, and hum drum do. Lol🎉❤ I almost bought a jelli plate...too much right now. Ok, I'm just loving this. You'll make this awesome. 😊 hugs.
Very lovely Ceri! Maybe someday I will feel brave enough to do something like this. I have so many new things I want to try! Thanks for the inspiration!
Playing is always good! Abstract is always good 👍
Nice to see you make stuff.... And this makes me want to just make one out of anything...
Just love your work ❤
Nice experiment, Ceri.
Thank you for some new inspiration :)
My pleasure 😊
17:54: when I watch your video I try to guess what you do next, and this time I was right - this needed corrugated cardboard. No, I don't think you are too predictable, but it seem we have at least some thoughts in common.
Wonderful
This is my favorite video!
Nice inspiration and so pretty🤩
Thank you! 🤗
9:05 It is the artists job to create the piece of art to be interpreted by the viewer, however, that responsibility ends at the surface of the “canvas.” What happens inside the viewers mind as they internalize is the other half of the conversation, and may mean something completely different to the viewer than the artist was thinking when they created the piece. This applies to any art form and is the beauty of the conversation between artist and the viewers. It’s not the artist job or business to interpret the art for viewer and translate what the art means, it’s their job to make the statement they were intending and let the viewer interpretation take its natural course. ❤
All good points thank you.
@@CeriGriffiths Forgot to add that “your interpretation is right for you, and that’s ok.” To to the above… 😂
I love it so much!
Fun!!!💚🖤💚
Nice ❤
💜💜💜
So cute ❤👍🇺🇸
Good morning or evenibg, When did you know when your project are already finish?
Just an instinct
Oh it turned into a ducky show of yr art Ceri. Thank you for inspiring this ol artist back into gear. I love your work. ❤❤
Frog Spawn, Lol 😂
This looks like so much fun! It turned out so cool!
As ALWAYS, this was well worth watching. It's beautiful!!
What fun! My 5x7 is my favorite gel plate.
That was what I started with. I think some of my best prints came from that plate, before I really understood what I was doing. There’s no way I could even try to duplicate them.
I absolutely love this
frog spawn, Lol
✨💖✨
Thoroughly enjoyed watching you work through this. You have inspired me to get the couple of blank booklets I have sitting in my drawer out and work with them! Thank you. ❤
Dang Ceri, beautiful! I like that it doesn't have a purpose, just something pretty!
Your abstracts are never boring! I love them all!❤❤❤❤❤
Ceri this turned out so pretty. Fun and quick project.
About king charles new painting
Great idea. I really love these.
Great video and loved the end result!
Hi Ceri. Interesting project as ever. I am so addicted to watching all your projects. I haven’t made a journal as yet but that doesn’t mean I can’t take inspiration from elements of your work over to my projects. I’m thinking of buying some foam stamps and maybe some stencils/masks. Do you still have a discount code with PM artists? Or was that for a limited time only. I live in Australia and as you’ve said before, the discount helps with the international postage. Keep up the excellent videos. I always look forward to watching them even the coffee with series. And I totally agree, if you can’t say something nice, then go elsewhere.
Hi Lynne, yes my 10% discount code is CeriFan10.
Beautiful, & FUN!
I love how you play Ceri. 🇦🇺
Love watching you create, it is very inspiring. I am trying to get into the abstract and enjoy seeing how others approach and complete. It can be intimidating at times. TFS 🤙❤
Oh and wonderful book! Love it
Thank you
