Just the right time! I bet you can read my mind VANESSA! Thanks for the video.... fast paced, clear. I like that. 😀 I took a flight to Ibiza 2 weeks ago and my Nomatic/McKinnon carry-on backpack with all gear was forced into the check-in luggage due to some changed rule that backpacks were not allowed anymore over a specific size. Obviously, they forgot to load the luggage and it was untraceable for 5 days, then when I finally received it, the bag was heavily damaged and of course the R3 and some lenses were missing. So was just looking for a suitcase type carry-on for photo gear.
too funny, I was just thinking I need to get some new bags for travel since I have a few weddings coming up and this video popped up. Get outta my head Vanessa 😜 Great video!
Great review, but how do you make sure your trolley is staying in the 8 kg weight limit? I travel with the Tenba Cinelux Roller 21, but filled up it quickly weighs around 12 kg. Last time I took a flight, they almost made me check the luggage. So I need to come up with a new packing process, in order to not run this risk again. Any tipps?
Big pockets :) lol at least that’s what someone else told me to do once. Weigh it when you can lenses in your coat pocket and then put the back before going through security
@@VanessaJoy Thanks for replying. :) That's also a trick. For me, they weighed it at boarding. But if I had my hand luggage preweighed at Check-in, I could probably have done that and avoided them weighing it again, as you usually get a "checked" tag. But also I actually started a sheet with all my gear and it's weight, so I am going to pack according to that next time. And also keep some heavier items in my Backpack, to balance it out.
Your video is so much better than looking at their website. I want that Roadie Roller in blue, but their website only shows black. I imagine I need to wait for them to stock it.
I just started international and EU air travel with photo gear. Same problem coming again and again. Carry on is 8-10kg allowed and sometimes they weight it and I have a problem. No way you can pack 8kg of gear inside if bag itself is 3-5kb depends on the model, and when it is on 8kg the bag is almost empty!!! I really worry about it but will never check it, even in case that I miss the flight.
Thanks for answer dear@@VanessaJoy. EU companies have restrictions that I consider to send gear in pelican cases few days before on destination and then travel lighter. Still looking for a best solutions. But I guess that is a difference with EU and the rest of the world. 😍
Hi Vanessa great and to the point video. That’s all awesome for equipment storage. The $5000 questions. How do you travel with light stands or do you take light stands with you? And if you don’t have a assistant with you what is your next go to plan? Makes good for another video 😊
I’m very impressed with these bags 😊 I lean towards the rolling bag and I wish I could wear backpack more. But since I more heavy chested (I hope I not to offend anyone 😞but this my reality) I need to carefully of wearing backpacks 😊
I’ll try this again “Ma’am”!!!!! I’ve got an “Atlas Adventure” for my hiking/camping and love it, but it’s by no means an EDC!!!! But before I got it, I bought a smaller EDC to throw in the truck as an EDC for photos on the fly!!!! Unfortunately it’s circling the drain and I am going to have to replace it!!!! So I’m going to watch this over and over until I get a grasp on what I “NEED”!!!! I believe an EDC is essential to any serious photographer!!!!! Thanks!!!
Love the Tenba stuff, and great review! I'm more team Axis for backpacks, but def love the rollers!
You and me both!
Thank you for the video. I bought mine when you sent the email. I love it!
Hope you like it!

Yes EU travel is COMPLETELY different with the weigh limits!
