This song hits so hard on GTA IV’s Vice City FM, especially when you’re driving through Algonquin and through the express ways.
Haha, I was listening to that very playlist, and another song reminded me of it, so I came here. Then I read your comment and I realised Misfit was featured in the second half of the Vice City playlist. Brilliant addition.
Okay......Okay.......I'm 67 and I've been a fan of British groups forEVER!!!!! How's a come I'm just finding about this deliciously 80s band in 2019?????? Bring back the 1980s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The UK has blessed the world with all sorts of talent - singers, actors, writers.,..........................on and on. Brilliant
could not have said it any better mate ,brilliant band timeless 80s
Don't normally leave comments, but the edginess of these lads and sound they produced was fantastic back in the late 80's and still kicks now 34 years later - bloody hell I must be old....but makes me 19 again. I could never understand why they weren't bigger - the sound of Bens voice, the power of Migs drums and Nick and Julian's bass guitars bloody awesome sounds.
for me they are big enough
Yes, let's talk about that bassline! Bring back Mtv please.
Fantastic band indeed. I was 8 when this was released, living in South Kensington, London. I remember dancing to this at the school disco. Had the biggest crush on my teacher at the time too. She must have been about 25. I will always remember her funky knee high boots and short skirt. Blimey!
Underrated band in my opinion, and you're right, they should've been bigger, the stuff they was coming out was just so laid back Ben's voice was so unique, deserved better like most of the bands back then
Don't think Simon Cowell knew what he had and was more interested in promoting himself !
I'm a Latinoamerican, but I enjoy the good British musical culture since the 70s, and Curiosity Killed The Cat was one of my favorite pop bands.
I am Mexican and i enjoy songs from the 80's and 90's!!, these songs are just gold, i also love this song as well!!!
I'M right back on that dance floor. So bloody good the 80's ❤
Still after all these years this is a sharp and relevant tune! Best band of the 80's!
another RELEVANT!!! how is this RELEVANT!!
@@gman922 covid 19 “crazy sheep we are the odd ones out” “build yourself protection to avoid injection”

Great tune.....87 was such good times.
YES IT WAS !!!
This and down to earth and ordinary day I'd say down to earth was the best
Awesome stuff. great group still listening in 2022 beats all modern music .
My teenage years 14/15 listening to this and Bros and Brother Beyond. All have great bass lines.
A great song! UK has the best groups. Cathy Dennis, Level 42 , Johnny Hates Jazz we can go on and on.
Cathy Dennis! LOLZ
I'm Argentinian...and you are riight, I admit it.
level 42 were definitely superb, Britain had what was known as sophistipop, jazz influenced pop music, prefab sprout and the blow monkeys were two other good groups for this genre.
And Wet wet wet ;-)
You've got to add Scritti Politti as one of the UK's top sofistipop groups. Awesome band!
I met 'em personally many years ago, amazing song and group!!!!!!
Loved them in my teens back in '87-'89.I still think they were great 🙂
Loved this song in the 80's & it's even better now
Tremendo clasico de los 80s ..me acuerdo que habia comprado el vinilo por el 88...grandes recuerdos!!
Amazing song 🤗 Fabulous lead vocal🎤
Heard this come on the radio this evening on my drive from Birmingham down to South Wales so had to play it on here and listen again once I'd reached my destination 😎
This was a major Top 40 hit in the UK during July 1987 - I was working in a Wimpy Bar on Vauxhall Bridge Road in London Victoria at that time.....
They used to do nice burgers there- Thank you .
Kai Chung I was 12 and the best days of my lifetime all in the ULTIMATE decade of music 1980s
you probably still work there you dirty bitch
Kai Chung please tell us more about your Wimpy days
We all have things we try to forget.........lol.
Absolutely top band, love brothers, come back lads, 😘
Awesome 80's soundtrack.. Can remember it being in the charts like it was yesterday 😄
Heard this on Sirius xm 80's on 8 as a long lost hit. Pity it wasn't more popular here in the States back then. I think it's a really catchy song and I find some of the words empowering.
"Can't Buy Me Love", brought me here!!! I miss the 80s sooooooooo F'KG much!!!!!!!
"Crazy sheep noir you are the odd one out" such a mellow funky song i still like it now.
Loved this band. I don't anyone else besides me that has some of their music. If this stuff was played today, kids would think it's so hot and brand new. It needs air play again but in the US! There are many great groups in the EU. I wish MTv was back to play videos and had MTv International. We never got the latter in the US which was a shame.
Yup 1987 working in s bar when this album came out ...sooo good memories !
Una delle milioni di belle canzoni degli indimenticabili magici anni 80
loved this group great memories '' dancing in the clubs to this and back down to earth'' great soul in bens voice''loved this underrated white soul group ''soulgray of westbromwich'

Anos 80,infelizmente não tínhamos internet, aqui no Brasil não deu pra conhecer tão bem a banda, mas redescobrindo agora em 2019,saudades dos anos 80.

An old advert for Philips CD Video brought me here, love the basslines :)
Take me back right now xxx xxx
One of the gems from the 1980s.
After years of hearing this song on the radio, I finally understand the lyrics. More or less.
Love this music from the 80s
This is awesome quality. Thanks for posting. 🍸
Lol was totally in love with Migs the drummer at the time!
A No. 42 Billboard hit in 1987. Great pop song with some Sophisti-Pop references
October 2020 and this is still a tune music is a beautiful thing
it's impossibile: this song (one of the best of 80's!) is not available on Spotify!
shining71 I totally agree with you mate
No surprises. The original video with Andy Warhol is not available here in YT. Bullyin against CKTC?
@@mauriceboes3558 No, it`s not.
Agree !!! Why not @spotify??? 🤔
It's on Spotify now, that's how I discovered this song from my Level 42 list.
Great Eighties Breakthrough Hit by Curiosity Killed The Cat.
So many good songs in the 80's
Watching the UK TV program 'First Date' and there he was! The lead singer Ben! May 2018...:)

A very underrated band, UK soul at its best
Another Brilliant song from Curiosity Killed the Cat reminds me a bit of a Level 42 song!
Perfect synth pop.
That chorus...amazing!🎶🎵🎤
Super ! Chanson sympathique et rythmée !
Fantastic track which will always have given anyone great memories, that's the secret of having great memories, you have to have been an incredible track with you for your experiences that happened
Wish we could go back to those times. My life is so shit nowadays.
"Build up some protection to avoid the injection and you can be happy " Well they got that one right !!
Superbe sous venir ça:) Merci!
