Honestly SFV has the best CEO. All of the community was making jokes and having fun. There was very limited couching and no body got so salty after a match that it interfered with sportsmanship. Also the best intros!
Tekken, Injustice 2, Pokken all had very cringe worthy moments because of those problems. You can't take the game to seriously, you have to remember to have fun!

I agree fully..too bad about the streams dying over and over but once they came back it was very entertaining all the way through to the end (after the first half of top 8). Everyone was so animated and you could see they just had fun.
People got mad about Pokken?
Kinda ironic don't you think? They said this game is boring, and I agree to some extent. But us, the community, are still having fun and enjoying ourselves. You can hear the crowd pumped up everytime there was hyped moment. Don't get me wrong, I love Tekken and Injustice too, but SF will forever be my favorite gaming community of all time.
It's not ironic at all. SFV is clearly designed to be spectated more than played, relative to previous iterations.
So glad Punk and NuckleDu lost. It was time to Snake and Gief to won something
I'm happy Punk and Smug lost but sad NuckleDu lost because he still plays Mika against the most top tier character, Balrog. Skills to do that and I respect him for it alot.

Man that was such an entertaining top 8 (aside from the stream issues).
Congrats to Snake! He really was grinding hard the past few months to get to this point..it took him a while to win something again, but it all led to this.

I finally bought a PS4 and got SFV, I'm gonna start learning the basics and I liked to thank you Vesper Arcade for keeping me updated on SFV. Should I just buy the two season passes or wait for this rumored Super SFV?
I honestly would wait. I also suggest making a couple of guest accounts on your PS4 to test buying different characters with FM.
Are you making a video on the supposed Super Street Fighter V leak? Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
At the very best I'd say only buy the first season pass. Its original price now is $20 but it does go on sale sometimes for $10. So my advice is to get the first season pass for $10 when it goes on sale. Its worth it because you get the 6 characters and their premium costumes as well. So you can earn even more FM with them to unlock what you want and have more characters to play for a cheaper price.
Oh and it comes with a PS4 background and the Guile Airforce stage unlocked so you don't need to use FM for the stage. That will keep you busy until we hear about future SF5 stuff.

You know, after a whole slew of HYPE ass tournaments this year, it still boggles my mind how people can still whitewash SFV as a "boring" game with "zero hype." CEO SFV is always so damn fun. Congrats to Snake Eyez!
the only people that hate on the game are the ones who are stuck on SF4. The ones who refuse to accept any change whatsoever. The tourney scene for this game is as entertaining as SF4 ever was. The game has its faults, but it doesn't take away the ability to enjoy playing or watching the game.

Probably because it's a much lower-skill game, designed for marketing more than high-level play.
The game is boring. The players were being fun with hats and intros etc. There is a difference.
Snowbunny Mika The last few Dreamhacks, West Coast Warzone, Red Bull Kumite, and Final Round were all hype, and were sans hats. But opinions will be opinions.
Editing is great dood... as much as i dislike sfv... gotta admit it has a GREAT community ( it might be the biggest thing keeping it alive )

CEO was good this year, would have been spectacular even, had the venue not gone down every other second for the 1st half of top 8. Worst part is they finally had sense enough to actually STOP the proceedings and wait for things to stabilize before continuing forward. Wish they had frozen all future matches in this way when things first started being a major issue for them. As a result the spectacular comeback that was Punk vs Gachikun is forever lost to us. SMH
