Something was found in the ground at the beginning of the comal River it was s escorted out by the police in a box truck a few years ago when they had plans for the park that never materialized I saw it with my own eyes
If you have your own tube: I believe it's $2 entry into the river (this gives you a wristband and the money is used to clean up the river trash) and parking is typically $20ish if you park near the river. Otherwise you can find free parking downtown but sometimes it can be an adventure. I haven't gone this year so not sure if rates have changed!
Haha yeah, I'd say you can take all of that. You can't take cans - you'd have to have your drinks in re-usable non glass containers. I'm not sure of the exact details or if there is a list somewhere. We've done the full thing and it takes 3-4 hours but you can always make it a shorter float! There are a few exits that you can get out early at.
haha yeah exactly... that was my first time to float without a beer but since we have (or had?) a membership with The Float In (a bar on the river) we just floated empty handed then got out for a few drinks at the bar. There is a can ban that makes it difficult to float with beer (or at least multiple beers). Still fun as can be!
@@NomadicGear we had so much fun : no cell phone, we caught up with our conversations as a couple . We enjoyed the scenery and animals around .we will take our GoPro next time .

My girlfriend and I just visited the New Braunfels Tube Chute for the first time, and it was a blast! We posted a video on my channel! 🌊
Nice! I haven't even thought about going yet since it's been cold off and on. Will have to go soon! And I'll check out the video!
What part of Comal? Where is this at?
This video covers the entire Comal River in New Braunfels, Texas. It’s a super short spring fed river that empties into the Guadalupe.
Are there any criiters in that water?
Here and there! Haha but nothing harmful at all
I’m coming here today and I’m so excited
That's awesome! I hope you enjoyed your time on the river
Thanks for the video. I live in NB, and looking for a great representation of the Comal.
I'm glad you like it! I live close by to Hinman so it's nice to be able to film whenever I want down there.

We went Memorial Day weekend Fri through Monday in 2021. It's soo relaxing but we were very drunk as well. You can drink on the river.
Yeah it's an amazing time and so relaxing. Drinking is a must!
That looks like fun. There are river floats here as well but we have never gone. One for the bucket list. Thanks for taking us along

It varies throughout the river but a lot of times it's between 4 and 6 feet deep!
