I really like the weathering on this build. Actually, i'm currently going through your back log of videos, and your paint and weathering are always on point. Here, the airframe looks well worn and sun bleached, but still done in a subtle manner.👍👍
I've always kinda of liked the old AMT P-40 line. If you have the different variants, you can cut & paste yourself a P-40E from them, even though AMT never came out with that specific variant.
I've built this kit arond 1999. It was a great kit. Now I have the hasegawa N and E variants in my stash, will see how they compare to the AMT release.

@joakimkarlsson9255 Thank you! I do enjoy the weathering process. Cheers!
Very good work as always 👌 i have always liked the rugged look of the P-40 series planes 👍
Thank you! I evidently like them as well since I have 6 models of the hawk/mohawk/warhawk line built.

Right on. I've built the F and K variants so far. Both turned out nice, but just like this kit, they weren't shake-and-bake.🙂
Yeah they have a P40K version I think I'll try...
@JC Woodman My K came out nice but the tail seems a little undersized. I may post a review in the future.
The AMT N is far better in the windscreen and radiator shape.
@@wrathofatlantis2316 Interesting. I would have assumed the Hasegawa would be more accurate.

Both lines, AMT and Hasegawa, have the dreaded inserts so I'd be interested to see how the Hasegawa builds.
Are the mesco manufactured ant kits identified on box or otherwise?🤔
Jman
Yes. The box will say "made in Mexico".
@@jonsmodelkitreview4624 that way if I decide to take on an amt P40 off evilbay I can make sure it's the US
release.😁

@@robertmunoz7543 Right on!
@@robertmunoz7543 Understood.
