We just went last week of May and loved the ship - My grandaughtor loved the indoor gym and kids club. We watched alot of vidoes on the ship so I felt prepaired to do activities I liked, We ate main dining room all week and enjoyed the food everynite lots of specials to choose from. 8 of us so we had a nice table with ocean view. We loved Ocean Cay!
i was on this ship in 2019 and i celebrated new years (the start on 2020 and a new decade) on the ship but i didnt actually take it seriously as i was pretty young and and back then if my mom bought tickets, i couldnt care less, i just trusted that she wouldnt kill me and i packed my bags. recently i remembered about this ship and decided to watch the tour to relive some awesome memories and during the video i kept saying "wow i was on that". thanks for the tour
Sailed MSC for Christmas- food was hit or miss just like the service but the ship was absolutely beautiful!! Msc offers a great value but the operations leave a lot to be desired. We will be sailing her again!
Great tour. We spent a week on this ship a couple of weeks ago. We have to go back because we missed so much. Lol. We really enjoyed Hola Taco, $17.99 pp. All you can eat. The food was really good. IMO best margaritas on the ship. 😊 Thanks for the tour.
Great tour and she looks like a beautiful ship. I like that you did the tour with people on the ship, instead of before everyone boarded, and gave explanations as you walked around. It gives a good feel of the ship. Very enjoyable video. :)
I was on MSC this past weekend on their new ship. Came back Sunday morning with an amazing souvenir. Yup you guessed it COVID and boy this time it was so much fun. Tuesday night I enjoyed an endless night of low oxygen in my lungs and buckets of sweat. It's Friday and I still have this wonderful headache. Thanks MSC for being so understaffed that no one was cleaning the stairwells often enough. We had so much fun being forced to take them because of your new horrible elevator service. Can't wait to sail again with my COVID carrying friends onboard. 😊 Thanks MSC
You guys are awesome… We have sailed on the Meraviglia twice already. First time in 2019. We absolutely loved it second time which was just a few months ago. We noticed some big changes, but we did have fun… Love, love, love their private island we will be sailing on the sea shore in a few months… Thanks for all you do… Great ship tour video 🚢
@@burtontim9079 first time we went was pre-Covid… October 28, 2019… Second time we went was right after Covid… January 8, 2023… First time in 2019 we were supposed to be the very first ship to go to the new private island but it ended up we couldn't go… in 2019 everything was really amazing from service to food to everything… second time unfortunately, we found the service in the dining room to be subpar and I don't mean just a little I mean a lot… We are very avid cruisers since 1993 and we don't complain about anything but unfortunately, our second experience was not good at all… The food in the dining room was not very good… We didn't even care for the food very much in the steakhouse… It just was not like it was first time at all… We still had a great time, of course… But it definitely declined but hopefully she is back to pre-Covid standards again… We have two more MSC cruises booked for 2024 on the seashore… we have faith those cruises are going to be fabulous 🚢
So much looking forward to our first MSC cruise on the Meraviglia. We somehow got upgraded to the Yacht Club. We normally sail with NCL and can't wait to see what MSC has to offer
You will love the Yacht Club. I have sailed 3 times on the Meraviglia in the Yacht Club. The service is impeccable and the food is wonderful as well. I like it even better than the NCL Haven, which I have sailed on 4 times until I found MSC. Hope you enjoy your cruise.
Great ship tour! I haven’t sailed on this MSC ship yet but I have been on the Seaside and Seashore which were nice but this one seems different in a nice way. I may just have to look into booking it!

Just got off Msc seashore! Food service and entertainment was good pay extra for the specialty dining worth it on the habachi🎉also best water park and kid area I have seen on a ship!

I saw this ship pass by as I was at one of the Jersey shores. Never thought I would want to go but there's so much to do on ship. My kids are loving the crepe store and the bowling alley. Big thing I like it that it doesn't look as crowded as I've seen on the Norwegian Joy, another cruise I was considering. The prices for sailing are the cheapest especially for a balcony room. Will look into your comprehensive video about your likes and dislikes about MSC Meraviglia.

Hey Alisa and Jason! 🖐 Hubby and I just got off the Meraviglia yesterday! We're you guys on that same sailing? If so, im so disappointed we didn't get to see you 😞 lol. We really enjoyed our time on the ship. The specialty restaurants were excellent esp. Butcher's Cut. The MDR''S were kind of a hit or miss with us. We do agree with you that the Buffet is unorganized but the hash browns and potatoes were so good!! The pool areas were a great size and beautiful esp the Bamboo pool area. Very tranquil. Hubby and I enjoyed some hot tub time in there. The ship is very elegant looking, and never really felt overly crowded. Didn't like the fact there were no ATM'S on board. We thoroughly enjoyed their private island (Ocean Cay) absolutely beautiful island. Had some fabulous drinks by the lighthouse Bar. 🍹😆. The crew were so great and friendly. Shout out to Marvin (our cabin steward) who gave us excellent service and the most beautiful towel animals ❤️.. we had celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on the 12th and when we came back to the room, there was a pair of swans on our bed..I admit I teared up. Lol. Disembarkation was a flop in my opinion, didn't understand why we had to leave the room by 8 just to go to the theater to wait 2 hrs to disembark. Made no sense to us, so we just took our luggage and walked off the ship. Usually on other ships you can leave your luggage in your room and go have your last breakfast, then come back and disembark by 9-9:30. Overall we did enjoy our time on Meraviglia. Would we do it again? Probably. It is convenient for us since we live in New York, but we would know what to expect next time around. Hope you guys enjoyed your cruise!. I sailed on the Meraviglia on May 28-June 4. It was a beautiful ship. There private island was beautiful, I enjoyed the specialty restaurants Tapanyaki & Steakhouse, but not the Italian Restaurant. The buffet was fine but the foods temperature never felt hot.. I did enjoy the pizza when it came straight out the oven ..their private island was beautiful. My biggest complaints was the cleanliness of the room, and there was a smell of sewerage at times on the ship. I would definitely sail again with them, their prices are amazing..

I have cruised Carnival only. I have taken 4 European cruises with Carnival and was thinking of trying MSC for Europe. They are considerably cheaper. For Europe it is so port inland you are rarely in your room or on the ship. Just eat and sleep. Most time in ports all day. What are your thoughts on taking them? Just eating breakfast and dinner on the ship. Thanks!😊
Ive been watching alot cruise videos lately and it seems like the pools are meant for 100 people max while the capacity of the ships are 4000+ people....

you had to wait for cardio? or just for weights? None of the big ships have enough weight equipment--but at least when I was on Carnival Mardi Gras (also a huge ship), starting around day 3 it wasn't hard to get to things. And maybe between 2 and 6pm, it wasn't too crowded.
@@monkeyb1820 yes- always had to wait for a treadmill but not so much the free weights. Even going after the “morning rush” things were always chaotic on our sailing- I may start going in their afternoon instead
We are avid Celebrity fans, but friends of ours are contemplating going on the ship. Very undecided as to whether it would be a good cruise or not. I know on celebrity they are constantly cleaning 24 seven, don’t know how they are on this ship.
Just got done with this ship a few weeks ago and I'm conflicted. Beautiful ship, great service, 3 pools, great pizza. But the food was only good, the desserts where only okay. The specialty dining was pretty good, but not amazing. Two shows were GREAT, the rest were very sub par. The shopping is HORRIBLE, especially the sales. Lots of crew didn't speak very good English, even some of the ones running the game shows, they were literally reading choppy English off queue cards and didn't understand what the game was... We also lost two ports because of weather, but we were within SITE, SITE of the private island and the weather was good, we turned and just puttered away at a few knots, so very disappointed, if we were running from bad weather we should have been MOVING at speed, not just puttering. The parties under the changing ceiling were too crowded, all you could do was jump, no room to actually dance or mingle and talk with people, making the evening parties less than enjoyable. Lastly, the cost to park at the pier was $495 for a 10 day cruise. THAT IS INSANE!
Just got a call from MSC was supposed to sail on July 9th got a call from them today on the 7th 2 days before cruise date that they had a issue and my room is not available so my trip is canceled

We only went to one show. Definitely not Broadway!! They sang cover songs and danced. It was ok but nothing spectacular.

We always prepay gratuity so we don’t have it on our bill. But if you don’t it will be added.

Everything seems to be extra!! Kinda missing the point of cruising thinking i would preffer to just fly to destination
My wife, and I didn't do any specialty dining, and we were happy with the food. We only paid for a few drinks each day.
Is the ship kids friendly? We are planning a trip with two small children and we are looking for some insight.

Just got done with this ship a few weeks ago and I'm conflicted. Beautiful ship, great service, 3 pools, great pizza. But the food was only good, the desserts where only okay. The specialty dining was pretty good, but not amazing. Two shows were GREAT, the rest were very sub par. The shopping is HORRIBLE, especially the sales. Lots of crew didn't speak very good English, even some of the ones running the game shows, they were literally reading choppy English off queue cards and didn't understand what the game was... We also lost two ports because of weather, but we were within SITE, SITE of the private island and the weather was good, we turned and just puttered away at a few knots, so very disappointed, if we were running from bad weather we should have been MOVING at speed, not just puttering. The parties under the changing ceiling were too crowded, all you could do was jump, no room to actually dance or mingle and talk with people, making the evening parties less than enjoyable. Lastly, the cost to park at the pier was $495 for a 10 day cruise. THAT IS INSANE!
Just got a call from MSC was supposed to sail on July 9th got a call from them today on the 7th 2 days before cruise date that they had a issue and my room is not available so my trip is canceled
