Many of the most wonderful things that happen to people can be perceived in a melodic sense of feeling. And many wonderful enjoyable emotional experiences in life can be interpreted and then expressed melodically it's all in the way the individual perceived that experience for themselves. However because that's how she felt about this story you chose to think she's depressed. No she's giving up on the hype and the worlds view of them and their's. And would prefer to just be held down by the water. Use your brain to think once and awhile maybe you won't want to leave the earth so soon in the future. Because you can always find beauty in the ugliest thing. And pleasure from the most painful you just have to look for it. It's there always. the only thing that will never have any sort of positive impact no matter how horrible everything does whether you can see it or not. Is ending your own life therefore destroying the ones who loved you or will never get to love you. You are enough and you are worth every minute and every mistake until you personally throw it away making every action ever made on your behalf a waste. When it's guaranteed 100% those that made those actions and spent those minutes on you. You are then punishing them for loving you enough to give you a piece of their short precious life and hurting them when they are actually willing to only give more. The pain you feel is never as bad the next day or the next and so on time heels all. And you're not the first to experience a pain so deep it feels impossible to go on. But that pain does not make it impossible to continue on. In fact that pain is there to remind you to do better next time and never make the same mistake. Because any mistake can be forgiven and any person who has made the worst mistake can be redeemed and succeed their next time around. Or you can make the same mistake over and over again but trying again and again does not and will not make you a failure only quiting can do that. Be well cheer up and soldier on it's what you were built for.

My God, what an incredibly versatile band, perhaps the most versatile band ever. And to think, despite living through the era when they were most popular...I was hardly aware of their existence. I knew of only one of their songs: Fade Into You. That song was played TO DEATH on the local pop stations in and around the DC metro area and as a consequence, I had absolutely no interest in them (I had a cardinal rule back on those days: if I heard a song on main-stream pop-radio, the band was crap. Oh how wrong I was in this case!). I discovered MS just a couple years ago and I simply can't get over the breadth of their versatility, both vocalist and composer. The emotions they evoke...they bring back long-dormant dreams and aspirations of youth.....oh to be 22 again, with a full head-of-hair and a straight-spine, listening to a song like this, the vocalist murmuring hauntingly from the bar's juke box, as I fell into the fathomless depths of a long-haired lovely's eyes.

yes her delivery is unique i think, in being quite deadpan the lilts in her voice become magnified.....it's subtle and moving
