I always learn something from Everything Autos' videos. This is not the first time EA has cautioned about parking over dry leaves and here there is dramatic evidence with the bus just how dangerous it can be. As a result, I am now careful where I park. Thank you ! If there was anyone besides that gentleman from Dean's capable of backing up that bus onto that trailer, that would be Jeff of Everything Auto.

Kristen made me nervous when y'all were loading that bus!!!! That's about like having someone talking to me when I was backing into a tight dock between two other big rigs! And I have operated all kinds of wreckers and tow rigs.
I spent many a days in the 90's working at that one of those places where theat Bus burned. Seeing that brought back "Memories" See what I did there. LOL!

The exhaust could have caught the leaves on fire, but if I’m not mistaken, most busses have the exhaust exit at the top to one side or the other to keep the fumes from smoking people in their cars at a light. A leaking injector line would seem to be a more likely culprit. Once it was ignited, the flames could then easily have caught the brush and leaves on fire, most professional drivers are fully cognizant of the potential exhaust fire hazard.
Great video on both winches. That car was a mess. The guy should be counting his blessings for being able to walk away. The bus was exciting to watch. That was a tight fit on the sides. Thanks for sharing. Be safe

Loading the bus was bad enough, but I can't imagine hauling that huge tall bus on that narrow trailer anywhere, much less across the country. I'll just stick to driving my tiny electric wheelchair. 😅

Wow!! Well As a you know Or may not remember. I’m a fellow towing and recovery operator with 10 years under my belt up here in upstate New York. Now temporarily sidelined as I continue to recover from my massive near fatal stroke. Also a former certified EMT. I’ve definitely seen more than dozens of horrific accidents in my time of service. I can’t believe the fella walked away from the car wreck. Actually wait. I take that back. If he was under the influence then that means his body was fully relaxed at the time of impact causing basically no internal injury because nothing was tensed up. Then with that your bus mess. I’ve seen it all. But you guys with your team work and excellent communication definitely pulled off another great recovery! 2 of them! I definitely would not be parking any vehicle near any type of brush or leaves. Glad you guys got them both recovered safely in a timely manner. Also that bus on that little trailer looks really sketchy to me! Almost looks like it was a landscape type of trailer. I would not feel safe driving behind that trailer with that big bus loaded up on there. Team work makes the dream work! #Safety 1st #TeamJeffAndKristen
I’m sure that trailer is more than capable of hauling the bus, it’s a triaxle with dual tyres, and busses aren’t that heavy, the highest weight I could find with a few minutes searching was just shy of 17 tonnes or just over 18 1/2 tons US (what’s that, about 27 billion lbs 🤷♂️🤪) therefore no where near what a trailer like that could carry.
Totally amazed with the maneuvering of that bus. And previously hearing the FST in that first wreck, surprised the driver was even alive to conduct same. Never did hear the end, was he arrested for OVI?
Well that bus loadup was an interesting job! I bet the bus driver was from a wetter part of the company so leaf flammability likely didnt occur to him. Loved the lab inspector.

How tall was the bus on the trailer and how does he make it under all the bridges all the way out west. I know there are times even interstate overpass are marginal and I use the Rand McNally truckers paper version to plot trips with our fifth wheel
