WOW!!! No safety equipment on the truck. But because of the way they made the vehicles back then, your safety was pretty much a sure thing. Kristen amazes me sometimes. She is getting so good at these situations. Her knowing what you were going to do to get the pull started before you even said anything was impressive. My granddaughter, her husband and my 3 great grandkids were in Gatlinburg for Christmas. They stayed at the Glenstone Lodge. The kids love the pool and they don't have to drive around town. She said it is centrally located. So they park and walk. She looked for you two around town so she could get a picture, but they weren't that lucky. God bless and be safe. That reminds me of the red 93 s10 my dad gave me in 97. So glad she is ok! I was 17 and my dad gave me a 4 year old truck with 87k miles! Those things would last forever! What ashame!

Here in northern Maine we has snow sleet mix then they put salt mix on the road which made a super slippery mess on a 45⁰ hill on a corner was not fun even at 25 mph by the time we got to the bottom on the opposite side ditch we were going about 45 with the wheels locked. After our old yukon came to a stop got out an checked everything rocked her back a little gave her a run up the bank & she came out on her own. It was a bad day but could have been worse

Going to be tough to find body parts for that truck with how old it is. Better off letting it wrote off as totaled than trying to repair. And jeff... you sort of had it right with model of the truck. Only real difference is s10 is Chevy where Sonoma is gmc. Other than that they're basically the same truck.
