Haha, daamn I remember those days, I rekt everybody with my retri pally :P They patched it really fast though, because it was ridicilious. On arena ,(I played 3vs3) you would see 3 retri pallys, you might aswel give up, no healing could outheal the burst dmg at that time xD
Swifty says he doesn't know how to play prot pally then he goes on to say "I'm just going to put all my abilities on my action bar and smash my keyboard". Sounds like you know how to play just fine, my friend

The entire game is broken. Tanks should absorb damage, not deal it. Same with healers. They should heal, not heal themselves and their entire party to 100% hp AND be able to solo a dps class. Fucking stupid.

It's weird that they'd give the combat riding abilities to paladins and not to death knights, since iconically and commonly death knights have been known to be efficient horsemen casting spells and swinging their weapons while mounted. Even in the RTS's death knights were exclusively mounted, and it'd give a bit more usefulness to the "pale horse" trait aside from always leaving your friends in the dirt. On a side note, they should add a speed lowering feature that allows you to lower yourself so your questing buddies can keep pace. No point in getting to a location ahead of your friends if you have to wait for them anyway.

When it comes to WoW I've learned over the years that whenever a new expansion comes out, the LAST class you'd want to play is the most overpowered class at that time. Because the nerfs start rolling in hard soon enough.. *knocks on wood *
Funny thing, it doesn't seem that he has the pvp talents, hence no 10 yard charge when using Hammer. Or maxed out artifact weapon for Avenger's Shield that explodes for more damage and give absorb. DPS numbers will come down when final tuning hits. This makes me think back to Pre-Burning crusade patch when ret paladin were out of control 1 shoting people with Divine storm.
This reminds me of when the idiots at Blizzard changed the Priest and Paladin spells that could do both damage or healing. It was the Disc spec Penance spell and the instant shockadin spell. They were both insanely OP and it took the idiots at blizzard weeks to fix it. There wasn't any reason to play anything other than Disc priest and holy paladin. My paladin could one shot people with that one instant cast spell when it crit (around 50% or more of the time) no joke.
I remember playing my first pally in BC days, HOLY SHIT they were amazing. I just left him at 100 though, haven't done much raids since WOTLK. Just like to level then leave again. Still, a very fun class!
I can't quite put my finger on it, but the game looks a lot "fresher" in legion than in WoD. It's probably all the fancy lighting effects from updated spells.

His father asks for help in the garden and my buddy said " you need to finish my bg " (warsong glutch that 40/40 bullshit). I said " I only know rogue, hunter, war ,dk and monk, never have I leveled a paladin. He said " It's ok just press 1,2,3,4 and maybe tab ( hammer stun ) and I finished 23-4, full biss gear, no idea what I was doing just pressing buttons and hammer dropping enemies + massive AOE! I LOLED!!
Prot pala OP in legion? As if they arent now already, I just tanked mythic mannaroth for almost 40 sec without any healer alive and then the boss died. So prot pala OP in legion or working as intended?

Hey I just started play wow with paladin, should I play prot paladin or ret paladin, ( lvl 100 paladin ) Been playing ret for while now wonder if prot is better or not?
I guess they were feeling guilty about nerfing us for so long. I'm not expecting the same results when Legion goes live. So sad. My Verdinan would be such a happy Dwarf.

As for BG, if the Horde had one AFKer as seems to happen often that would seriously impact the outcome.
I've mained paladin since Vanilla and now i play two, one ret one prot......my god i have not seen paladins THAT OP even in BC, BC they were hard to kill but didnt do damage like that and in Wrath and a little in Cata they did insane damage but once they blew their load, they were done. This is insane....I've never seen a paladin go from less then 5% HP turn on a feral and kill it in a blink...Without Bubble heal.....what the hell....

you shoulda seen rets in cata during dragon soul release... they single handedly one shot AV raids and technically solo'd dragon soul.

pwnnr13 it takes time to balance it out properly, and alpha is early testing for family and friends. alot of broken stuff wont get fixed until beta
