Qualified light engine mechanic by trade , ex pro mx and team mechanic for John Redding days after Burt Flood KTM blah blah blah I find Jett and Hunters style and skill on a bike absolutely beautiful to watch and both make it look effortless. Jett's humor and loose attitude is done in a good hearted young naïve kid manner and not in a douchey cocky way. So that's why nobody cares. And I have been to a bunch of races and usually always see Jett signing and talking before and after everyone else. Even when his brother races you always see him around.

      He has to be a contender. This is the best rider we've seen in the 250 class since RV. I'm a skeptic and still have a few doubts but if there's anyone that could break records in this new crop of riders it's him. I laugh at these clowns that say Deegan is the future GOAT when we're watching Jett make history and dominate at a level that's never happened. RV, James, and Ricky all had to put it all on the table to win their championships in the 250 class. We've watched Jett just manage two titles in a row. I think he's hungry for a challenge and hasn't had one in over a year. The kid is on a different level than every other rider he's been racing against. Maybe Chase and Dylan can push him to his limit, maybe they can't. I don't think we've seen the best of this kid yet and I'm tempted to say his best might be the best we've ever seen. Time will tell. If there's anyone I think can dominate like Ricky did with the current level of competition it's definitely this kid. Don't crown him yet, but don't be surprised when he finds his grove and wins everything. He's definitely different.

    RC giving Jett riding advice 😅😅😅. Times have changed and Jett is far from needing riding advice from RC. Maybe race strategy and life advice but Jett doesn't need riding advice from 20 years ago.

    • @EarthSurferUSA
      @EarthSurferUSA Год назад +1

      We had more talent 20 years ago, and we were smarter with our bike setup. It is not the same kind of talent though. You only need talent for SX: (starts, rhythm sections and whoops), MX: Starts, Fast sandy courses with ruts in the corners and a jump in the middle of the straight.).
      If I put a real clay off camber corner on a pro track today, half of them would crash on it during morning practice, the other half would look like C riders, and they all would complain. Humans are the only living entity on the planet that can pass on information from generation to generation. What happens when to a generation was taught to discount what we our elders learned before us is,-----------------------you pretty much start from scratch. That is why we did not race with a freestyle bar set up 20 years ago, and why it is harder to turn tall bikes with out a berm. This is the most irrational and dysfunctional our sport, and our society, has ever been.
      You were taught to ignore what people learned before you, and you are starting from scratch,---and don't even know any math.

      Don't mistake what I am saying. And listen to what RC and Brayton are saying. They are giving racing strategies and advice. They admit in this video that Jett is doing things that they can't teach. The riding technique that Jett has is new and different from when RC raced. Just like McGrath when he changed the whole style and technique of riding. This is what Jett and Hunter are doing. Now race strategy and race advice, RC is one of the best. He even says Jett is doing things you can't teach.
