It is called a diptych Specifically, it would be a hinged piece of artwork with two panels, that when opened create one scene. Throughout art history, it has adapted to be two individual artworks that are meant and best viewed together.

Those darn roads always distract me when I'm driving too. It's so hard to watch Netflix on the road. (please, everyone drive safe out there!)
