Thank you so very much for your total groom. I have a 5 month Goldendoodle, and am learning all I can. I have the same Andis clipper, but different combs. Keep posting, you have been very helpful with your young baby.
I cut my finger with my very sharp shears. Glad it's me and not him, eeps! You are so awesome for doing these and grewt st explaining. My boy is super sensitive or won't let me hold his face, but as you said, keep it positive and eventually he will come around. Keep doing these videos!
Thank you!! SOO helpful for our new rescue, a 2.5 yr old woodle. He is the best boy and will let me cut him no problem. I wasn't quite sure where to start!
Hi, I am starting to groom my whoodle myself. I have followed your video step-by-step. Now I’m wondering how you do the inner thighs/rear leg tummy area? My dog has whisky hairs there that get pretty long and matted if they don’t get cut. I want to be careful back there, since there are tiny folds of skin.
I am trying to think which video I did that on, it may have been on Instagram. I do reels or helpful hints every Wednesday over there. I’m so glad you are grooming yourself, it gets easier and easier over time💜 You basically follow the same rules, gently lift the leg up (picture the position of them peeing on a hydrant) and gently clip in the direction of the coat. It can be awkward feeling at first! Follow me and follow lovemuddoglady on IG, she is AWESOME! And since she groomed full time she shows all kinds of tricks on all kinds of breeds!
Mabel is so sweet and beautiful!Really enjoyed the video Thank you! I have a Wheaten Terrier and her name is Bella. Your Chanel is very informative and Mabel melts my heart! What size clippers are you using for Mabel's body?
Hi, thank you so much for all the kind words and watching! In the summer I use a size 1 attachment comb, and for the winter I use a size 0. Does that help? I have the clippers and attachment combs listed in the description. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I wasn’t getting alerts🐾❤️
Great video! We will be first time dog owners in about a month with an 8 week Whoodle puppy. How often do you need to brush, bath, groom, trim nails, etc.?
Hi Jo, thanks for watching, these are great questions. I recommend practicing brushing w your puppy right away. I have a video on recommended brushes, you can order them from Amazon, a Miracle Coat slicker brush and a 16mm Chris Christianson rake style pin brush. When you first begin brushing your puppy, do very short sessions, about one minute long and feed a very good treat! Brushing every week is great for any coat. Bathing can also be every week, but I usually do once a month. I like trimming nails every other week to keep them really short. A full groom every 6-8 weeks with a bath, haircut and nail trim usually keeps these guys in great shape. Every dog is different, and a lot will depend on activities (like swimming and playing, which can cause matting). I hope the videos keep helping you guys! Congrats on your new fur baby! I recommend taking your puppy to a groomer as soon as they get their first two rounds of puppy shots. This gets them used to the sounds and smells of a salon. Groomers will usually do a face, feet & Fanny trim the first visit, and a full haircut around 12 weeks old.
Also! If you want to do all the grooming yourself, that’s ok too:) But, I think taking a puppy to a groomer is very helpful for their training (for grooming and overall) and socialization. Love your questions, lmk if you have more 😊
Really enjoyed the video and super informative but I can't seem to find the one you refer to about the face clipping details. I saw the one about holding the head but was hoping for one that focused on clipping the face area in more detail. Did I somehow miss it on your "videos" list?
I rewatched this video and see what you are asking. I had uploaded a reel to her IG account, and that is what I was referring to in this video. I added here as well, as a short since it’s under a minute. But I do plan on adding a detailed head, face & ears video soon. This week or next! Thanks so much for watching.
@@Mabelthewhoodle Thanks a million for the info. I'm self taught at doing Airedale cuts but O'Malley is our first Whoodle and the face is SOOO different. Your channel is super helpful!
@@mrdood740 that is one of the things I love about this breed, you can do anything and they look cute lol! I love Airdales❤️ I try to post every Friday, I’m brand new at these videos lol, thx for hanging w me.

Hi. I am planning on doing a specific head and face video, but for now, go to the 10 minute mark and I do a very quick over view of the head & face.
I am using an “A” attachment comb on her head and around the face. Then I scissor the beard and eyes.

What blade?
I’m so sorry I didn’t see your question earlier! I usually use an attachment comb, size “A” or 3/4”
Can you tell me what kind of brush you are using!
Good info, but I cannot figure out why people feel the need to have absolutely annoying music going throughout the whole video.
